Poland has really stepped up to help Ukraine. They took in 3 millions Ukrainian refugees, and didn't just take them in the country, but the people invited the Ukrainians refuges INTO THEIR HOMES. Now they are providing even more military support by sending very significant supply of much needed artillery. All free nations owe a huge debt of gratitude to the Polish people and the Polish government. YAY POLAND! VICTORY IN UKRAINE! DOWN WITH PUTIN!

Poland never gets enough credit for how brave and dynamic Poles are. They were left alone to fight both the massive armies of Germany and Russia in 1939 and gave good account of themselves considering the odds. Then thousands of Poles escaped and spent the war in Free Polish forces fighting the Nazi and helped defeat them. It was early Polish work to crack the German Enigma code systems that laid the groundwork for the essential Ultra later in the war. During the dark years of the USSR Poland was always pushing back as hard as it could with movements like Solidarity and helped produce the cracks that brought the Soviet Union down. Like Ukrainians Poles hit WAY above their weight class, love both people.

Mobile long range artillery is always a benefit on the battlefield as they can fire and then move and move so as not to receive anti a chillery fire from the other side. Ukraine has done a wonderful job of resisting the Russian invasion and with the proper equipment equipment they will not defeat the Russians but the Russians but they can keep the Russians from conquering them!

One serious restriction for the movement of heavy units like this is the restricted weight capacity of Ukrainian bridges, and there are many in the east. As the bridges are restricted to 44ts, it would be an interesting inforrnation, what weight the Krab has and if the Poles supply additional bridgelaying equipment along this sale/ lease. Thx.

On summer 2020 Russia contacted former US Secretary of State Jim Kerry ( while he was in India) through Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Lavrov and handed him Ultimate to withdraw NATO from Eastern Europe to the borders of 1991 ( when USSR collapsed). It looked like a joke. Then Ultimate was repeated on November 17 2021 and finally on February 17 2022 on written form ( 7 days before Russian Invasion of Ukraine). US rejected this Ultimate. US Military performed simulations in May and it showed that existing combined NATO and US forces in Europe will be enough to defeat Russia in 5 days in Ukraine with use of only conventional weapons.

Poland needs to have a buffer between them and the Russian Nazi's. That is why they have to give as much as they can afford to give. Countries that don't have much equipment stored will probably finance a large part of this deal.

The actual Korean K9 would have also been a good addition to Ukrainians armed forces. S.Korea and Japan don't seem to want to provide heavy weapons to Ukraine.
