Hi Jonathan, some updates about the formation of our new government. 1. Since there is no new government yet, Mark Rutte will be demissionair prime minister of The Netherlands 2. Rutte has the support of all countries but 3 to become the new head of NATO. It is expected Rumania will withdrawn its candidate soon and Orban will be the only one delaying the process of appointing the new head of NATO. Would Mark Rutte become the new head of NATO he cannot stay demissionaire prime minister. It is not publicly known who would take his place, but it is expected the 4 coalition parties will form a new government in time. 3. All 4 parties agreed the new party leaders will not become the new prime minister. So Wilders will not become prime minister, but stay on as the party leader. Wilders still needs to suggest who could become the new prime minister and all of the 4 parties have to agree on that. The other 3 coalition parties Wilders need to form a majority to form a government had have a great impact on most of Wilders key issues. Hence, the PVV pre-election is not the PVV it currently is anymore. They had to agree with keeping up support to Ukraine, for instance. Otherwise talks would be of the table and he would never be able to get to a majority. I am not a Wilders fan, but our democracy is being well protected against the opinions of one party. I am not worried about Wilders or the PVV. The Netherlands will always support Ukraine. Slava Ukraini! 🇺🇦

Hey Jonathan, this is Cody. I tweet you a lot and I message you here little. I want to give you an understanding of MRAPs which you seem to lack. MRAPs are originally from South Africa, and Rhodesia. You can look up the origin of them based on the war which inevitably lead to Zimbabwe becoming a country. The actual MRAPS from what the original SADF and Rhodesia had invented are what the US got the idea from. The husky is something that looks like a road grater. It has wands that extend horizontally to emit ground penetrating radar

If Georgia goes off against Russia it may create a domino effect.

MRAPS where first developed in Africa...by peace keepers who had to traverse areas with unmarked minefields scattered everywhere.

Hello Jonathan and ATP team. The Scimitar is a reconnaissance vehicle. It has been in service since the 1970s, not sure if there is much life , left in them .Aluminium armour .the Raden might be good as an anti drone weapon , might be useful as it has a lower pressure signature than a loaded infantryman. 😅

All this equipment and aid should have been sent months ago

12:50 May be donated by Australia , but it's a Swedish design from the 70s that has now been much improved. Often used with the Giraffe 75 radar system. I was involved with it in the 80s on the Swedish (stop gap) Lvrbv 701 before it was replaced by LvKv 90

Due to the largely flat ground, several of the foreign non-ukraine soldiers fighting actually prefer the Humv's to MRAPs because the MRAPs are so tall. They prefer the lower stance of the Humv, & of course it's survivability.

A significant number shld be 18-40. A couple of weeks ago i accompanied a UA woman and her two kids to the UA consulate here in my town. Much too many requesting new papers there were btw 20 and 30. I was a bit shocked to be honest.... GER is probably pretty happy for having many so well educated (and behaving) young Ukrainians here and hope they will stay for good (GER is an ageing country) though some regional ministers oppose. In general the employment rate concerning the UA guys / refugees in GER is too low (Scholz).

The ukrainians are going about this all wrong, instead of buying ancient military hardware, they should charge money for disposing/repurposing of disused hardware, that way nobody could complain about what helping Ukraine costs.

I agree re Israel and I was surprised by the scores from the public vote although the Hamas attack took place during a music festival which may have also been a factor which connected with Eurovision voters. UK public gave Israel 12 points incidentally. I voted for Ukraine but may have voted for Croatia about 15 times. I saw that comment about Israel yesterday. It's interesting, because I responded to a post on LinkedIn that the Palistinians made it very hard to feel sorry for them. I guess that you could say the same about the German population in WW2 and the Russian population right now. Being fed a disinformation/propaganda diet drastically affects their thinking which gives you a way to understanding that they're not necessarily bad people, but it is still hard to see yourself in their shoes acting similarly (I'm mostly focussed on the support and adulation of Hamas and their actions)

Yes Berti does have something to say on what Oli said about ukrainians in Germany and that "they wouldn't be sent back to fight in Ukraine". He must have been one of the 9 people who watched my RU-vid video on this subject. JP didn't obviously because if he had he wouldn't have said "I guess it depends on which ones have residency status". They all have residency status as far as I can see. Otherwise they wouldn't be here. The press report that was issued by the german Home Office that I quoted said that they don't even have to apply for residency status. I also mentioned that in one of my older comments. Just think of them as EU residents until March 2025 and probably beyond.

The Eurovision is all about politics, i won't watch it, best song or singer should win. I remember inside voters giving england nil.

Israel has gone to far? Whose number are you citing for “civilians” killed? Eurovision is showing that people understand that Israel is battling Iran who cares nothing for Civilians and is happy to let Gazans die..if you believe Israel’s numbers they have close to a 1:1 combatants to Civilians ratio..and they don’t intentionally kill civilians like Russia in Bucha or Mariupol. I think you need to go to Israel to meet the people.
