That small group at the end may have had military training before being incarcerated. That would have enabled them to spend time doing other things getting the unit together in such a small amount of time.
German politics are complicated and regional . The AFD are concentrated overwhelmingly within the 'new German states'. States that were formerly within the DDR (German Democratic Republic within what we knew as East Germany) . Despite the wish from East Germans for re-unification the results for those citizens were economically catastrophic. Mass unemployment, lower wages, less social security benefits and pensions. This resulted in a mass resentment which has unfortunately continued up to the present. Even though a majority of the present population in the East never lived under the DDR regime there still appears to be a nostalgic association with it.

Hi JP, Finland, on the contrary, has failed to announce the contents of the military aid package in more detail, at least the last one or two. However, the first ones had been accurately announced. At least that's what the press says here in Finland. Slava Ukraine!
To the aircraft fleet, Argentina has announced Super Etendards & Exocet AM-39 missiles and France Mirage 2000-5 and perhaps some 2000-5 or 2000-9 from foreign customers. So Gripen & german planes would just add more. I'd prefer german Tornados to support frontline ... With F-16 and others, fighters are pledged yet.

Could it be that the rationale on not allowing Ukraine to hit those air bases further in Russia have to do with the (rumours about) F16 doing missions in Ukraine from Romanian air bases? And that the rationale might be that those air bases are legitimate targets for the Russians when western weapons strike Russian air bases? I personally don’t agree that this is the right way of reasoning, but it fits in line with the (non-escalatory) way of reasoning in the US government. Keep up the good work!

I would concur with you to be correct but would go further these are needed to provide cover for the airfields for f-16's, both of these aircraft are built for the same reason but from different situations hence different machines Gripen's are more for being on the front line, f-16's were not USA have a very limited front line with Russia Sweden was always at more risk. F-16's are more numerous.

@Lyle-In-NO It's most likely RU-vid, sometimes the messages will reappear after a few hours, other times a few days. Sometimes they are gone for good. Usually my 2nd message on a video disappears. You can check if they have been deleted by visiting your youtube account page, manage history and RU-vid interactions (menus vary by app)
It is interesting to me how Stoltenberg speaking for NATO can tell Poland or any member what to do. Did the US get NATO's permission before invading Iraq or Afghanistan? Were those NATO wars? Did we ask permission before defending Israel? Is that a NATO war? If NATO gets to decide whether a country can defend it's own borders and country how it sees fit that is a problem. I assume it is Biden speaking through Stoltenberg since I heard Kirby say the US opposed that. If the US is in charge of every NATO member's self defense and Biden is doing that imagine what Trump will do. He could order NATO countries stop weapons or funds to Ukraine or he won't defend them. Russia will in effect rule NATO. That is very bad. Europe needs to do what Trump said. They have to develop the ability to defend themselves independent of the US. I was very upset seeing Starmer cave to Biden as he did. The UK and all members should be free to independently decide how best to defend themselves. Biden made the decision to protect the Russian bombers that could easily bomb others in Europe later. They made the logical calculation allowing Ukraine to take out the bombers protects them. Biden made the illogical decision to protect the bombers. Trump will do it because he is corrupt. He could very well try to do the same if Russia attacks Estonia or anyone else.
