Judging Ukrainian bureaucracy _by his own standards_ won't give him a true picture of what is happening. A special offer from the ruzzian government, $100 for displaced civilians, _IF_ you have the paperwork. Soldiers killed in the Ukraine war (is it OK to say that now?), sorry, SMO, $68,800, soldiers injured: $41,300, _IF_ you have the paperwork to prove it... I suspect the higher ranks have instructions, not to sign paperwork.

At this rate if this continues it will be Putin asking to join NATO for protection HAHAA Maybe Ukraine army is advancing so fast in Kursk because they are not stopping to steal washing machines and western toilets !!
@@GSXK4 Or Battle of Tannenburg II (in WW1), where the Germans destroyed Russian armies that hugely outnumbered them through superior manouvering and logistics.
We entered the upside down in 2020. Anything is possible. 20yrs ago, the idea of a remilitarized Germany and Japan seemed unthinkable; now it seems crucial.
I am very pleased to hear (through local RU reports) that the Ukranian forces are showing respect for the civilians and their property, as well as humane treatment to RU POW's. That's the high ground and it shows maturity as well as being a wise course to make advances easier.
Especially so given the treatment of civilians by Russian forces and the more recent reports that 95% of Ukrainian prisoners have been tortured and abused.

Well, the referendum might just be a joke, making fun of ruZZia's referendum in Zaporizhzhia, where like 90% of people voted to be part of ruZZia, despite most of the oblast not even being under ruZZian control, so most people weren't even asked. Ukraine knows the world is watching, and they've been excellent at trolling ruZZia.
@@AstroGremlinAmerican That ain't true. If it were, it would also apply to people in Donetsk, Luhansk, and Crimea. For the most part, people put their home and family above their country. If enemy tanks roll up someone's street, they just carry on cooking dinner.
A while back after the Russian offensive into the Kharkiv region Ukraine reported that they were expecting an offensive from the Sumy region but they failed to say who would be doing the invading.
@@mathieusimoneau3358 I think Russia was counting on there not going to be a cross border operation by the official Ukrainian army, based on how Ukraine's allies seemed to really not want that happening. Those same allies who are now saying "we didn't know about this", and beyond that are not commenting on it.
Seems like the used an info op to lull Russia into a false sense of security. It worked. They say the West was unaware, but I find that hard to believe. I also dont know how Ukraine was able to focus that much combat power without Russia noticing.
Every time the camera pans to Putin, we see a face struggling to maintain its composure, his eyes are rolling around aimlessly, his mouth pursing uncontrollably. He is about to lose his shit!, that is either severe constipation or he is about to birth a 5 pound peptic ulcer. German tanks outside of Kursk?, second time is the charm.
its the . that ends things FA might have kicked it off FO brings it home but really its the . the little detail everyone always saw in all the different ways that truly ends it all
Dear Rehi I would like to congratulates you for your ability of explaining tactical moves from the Ukrainian forces. Slava Ukrainia!!! Hope they can hold strong for some times in Kursk until the negotiations start. This is the leverage Zelenski needs to be able to trade its territories with Putin.
It's all good news then isn't it Arthur 🙂 we miss your enthusiasm when you was away so glad to have you back and on a big thank you and well done for all your charity work you're awesome. From Plymouth United Kingdom. SLAVA UKRAINE ❤
Before the rise of the Slavs, the country was the territory of the Scythians. Known as the best warriors in the world, the first to fight on horseback. Ukrainians used some Scythian techniques, such as attacking the enemy's rear, or striking where the enemy does not expect it.
Spartans exist in two situations: 1. you accept that they were the first hardcore hellenic group to tell persians to suck their own rocks 2. you consider that any group of people can emulate what those legendary men did, as long as the strategic situation is similar. No, the strategic conditions are not even remotely similar. They are worse. For the russians. Ukrainians will never reach the depth of hellenic vs persian wars because there is no room for it. The strategic depth today is so different it would have taken yesteryears generals weeks to understand what took place in hours in the Kursk oblast.
In the same video the woman says that they supported the SMO from the start and their men fight in donbas and they support their army… and then she says they had to fled and that they are just peaceful people. Peaceful people only when the war knocks at your door…

we have seen very little proof of Ukrainian air strikes being more potent again. then again, we have also seen very little of russian air defence capability. so maybe this really is a new era of warfighting. Tomorrow will tell.
Wrong. F16 are for defense. Yes they help because when Russia retaliates with air strikes. The F 16 will be shooting them down. They r not involved in offensive

That is not true. I've heard of an unconfirmed report of a Ukranian soldier taking some Skittles from an abondoned gas station, and not leaving proper change.
Glad to hear Ukraine is maintaining complete radio silence, surprise is a big advantage. Estonia now has introduced full customs control, its a much needed measure. Maybe the countries that have a border with Hungary need to do same to prevent orcs entering Europe. 💙💛
Because now he has to make a decision, pull the troops from the front lines in Ukraine to fight in Kursk or send the natural guard who are essentially a bunch of civilians from western RuZZia in uniforms. Either way the question of “how the hell did this happen?” is going to be floating around in RuZZia.

POWs are a burden on Ukraine. During WW2, Canada housed German POWs. Even if some escape from a camp in the middle of nowhere, they would have a difficult time getting back to Russia.
True story; The US had POW camp in Arizona during WWII. Several POWs plotted an escape with a map, and built a collapsible raft with the intent of floating to freedom down the nearby Salt River. They escaped, only to find out the hard way what constitutes a “river” in Arizona. The Salt River was about 10 feet across and a couple of inches deep. They were promptly recaptured.
Here in Ontario. Canada, there are barracks near simcoe that housed Germans. Many stayed behind and settled here. Still see business and streets after German names
Yes, I lived near a military camp that held German P.O.W.s. It was in the middle of a rural area, surrounded by American Germans. My great uncle worked in one of the camps. Raised Amish; he did not wish to serve ARMED. He worked at the P.O.W. camp. The prisoners were excited and hopeful when they realized that they were no longer in the war, under Hit*er, and their guards all spoke German. Some of them stayed and got married! Yes, getting back to Russia from Canada would be a FEAT. My uncle later said he never was in a situation where he felt he NEEDED to carry a gun inside the camp. I do not imagine the Russian prisoners are very disruptive with Ukranian captors. They are likely so happy to eat, drink, and have a warm place to sleep....and they aren't KEEN on heading to Moscow right now....
German POW’s were also taken in by America. My grandfather would get 5 POW’s a day to work on his farm in Arkansas. One wanted to stay in America but my grandfather wouldn’t sign the papers so he was sent back to Germany after the war.
Thank you for your comprehensive coverage. The glare coming from Putin's face in those meeting clips. His heavy breathing and fidgeting fingers convey the cold hatred of the man that started this whole mess.
If I remember right during the first gulf war. The soldiers of Iraq did the same thing surrendering to a couple of U.S. soldiers because they didn’t want to fight. Same thing happened here.
It's true. I was a young USMC Sergeant in Kuwait in 91 and we had so many Iraqi soldiers surrendering that took their weapons and keep walking south. I was thinking about the same thing as I watched the Russian soldiers surrendering.

guess it is not entirely fair to compare apple with oranges and compare advancements of meat waves in a heavily defended area in Donbass with Ukraine routs in 2022 and now in Kursk. But it's worth noting that a stratege prepares and chose his battles for maximum effect. That is why I am confident in Ukraine milliary to gagther knowledge, troups and weapons before commiting. While, to not forget, ukraine army and society still has the wounds and scars soviets inflicted on every place they occupied, corruption, ineffieciency, nepotism, cronysm etc. The commitment of Ukraine to move away from that is remarkable but we have to aknlowledge the road is not finished, the work is ongoing, amid the war. Sudzha was founded in 1664. It was initially a town of the Sumy Regiment within Sloboda Ukraine, and was fortified with ramparts and a moat. In 1708 it was included within the Kiev Governorate, and in 1779 it became the seat of the Sudzhansky Uyezd. ~Wikipedia Return historic Ukrainian clay to Ukraine,
It was hidden in plain sight. For a while, Ukraine said that they were preparing, because they feared that Ruzzia was gonig to invade from this area. Great!
Russia thought they were safe and the allies wouldn't allow it. I'd give anything to have seen the look on putins face when he was told Ukraines allies were cool with this

As much as I want as much information as possible, I think it’s a much better idea for Ukrainian command to keep everything lowkey. Talking about exactly what kind of equipment/vehicles they will be getting only helps Russian command prepare more for it.
I'm pretty sure everything in this video is either from Russian sources or from UA themselves. Who knows how far the UA has gotten that the rest of us don't know about yet (and shouldn't).

With the creative use of Drone Jammers and Drones, the Ukrainians have created a semblance of a huge magical energy shield behind which they take a breather before releasing a new Swarm.
I listen to WABC Radio online, apparently Russian guy asked a Ukrainian soldier what he should do now that Ukraine has invaded. Ukrainian soldier told him to “learn Ukrainian and prepare for a referendum “. I hope the story is true!!!😂
100 years ago Ukraine extended just shy of Rostov on don in the South and included Kursk in the North. In ancient history the precursor of Ukraine was a horse riding horde that migrated in from Asia and had a capital at Itil, on a river near the Caspian Sea, and a Jewish leader.
