A young Ukrainian family have opened up about their new lives in Scotland after fleeing war in in their home country.
Nataliya Hevak made a desperate plea to help bring her husband and three children to safety after Lviv was targeted by Russian missiles and their call was answered by a big-hearted family in Lanarkshire.
Nataliya, 40, and her husband Liubomyr drove 1,600 miles from western Ukraine with their three children, Levko, 13, Roman, six and four-year-old daughter Marta.
They now live in a farmhouse in leafy Hawskland, a village near Lanark, with a sprawling back garden, friendly neighbours and ponies in the surrounding fields.
