He does get hit even though he has good balance & footwork (big reason why he can take a shot), I think it's his style as he seems to actually do better pushing his opponent back vs him being pushed back, which is often how taller fighters, especially if they have an excellent jab like him, control distance but he seems to do better when he's the 1 pressuring his opponent.

And when the guy backs the fire you quit and give your back, i know it aint easy at all but at least fight till the end bro, you can't only come to throw hard be prepared to get hit as well. Kryklia is a monster. Fact is his physique is perfect for kickboxing. He uses the muay thai push off and knees in close which works so well because of said physique, his knees just fly right up to your chin and nose. Pretty crazy stuff.

Looks like Klitsko brothers :) good footwork already (I mean he is not a very experienced fighter obviously) , and excellent strikes while moving backward, this is super important for tall / long guys. comments: he could easily improve his clinch work by 1.) not going to the head always and not with the first move, clinching his opponents hand instead 2.) assymetric clinch. not going with both hands, you dont need that for knee kicks, especially not him 3.) throw more knees with partial or not clinch, just like jabs.

Dude was putting on a clinic in a few of those sequences. His combinations are beautiful. At times firing off 5-6 diffrernt strikes all beautifully executed and all finding there mark. Respect

When a fighter grabs the back of your head with both hands, 1. he is not punching you 2. he's going to use his knees. Use one of your arms to block the knee and the other to clock them with the hardest uppercut you've got. You start hitting them on the naked chin hard he's either going down or he's going to quit kneeing you that way. So take advantage of his wide open chin in that scenario.

Good luck blocking a good knee with your hand and not sure how you fire and uppercut with any power when your heads being dragged down, I'd like to see that. I like to bring my arm across my face as they're grabbing the head to stop them being able to break my posture then using the free hand to push their face away leaving them open to knees to the body.

As a 6:6" man myself, I can understand that when you add the ANIMAL factor with SKILL, the EXTENSIVE REACH, and the MOMENTUM generated with those knees to the face, then the sprinkles on top, which is a SLAVIC nut job (don't be dopey, all Slavs are nuts when fighting) from Ukraine, pfft, nighty night, don't let a Russian and Ukraine fight.
