After watching this lively dance a day after viewing "Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors" on CUNY TV, I get the impression that Hutsul music and dance is more aligned with Romania and Hungary than it's Slavic Ukrainian and Russian cousins. Whatever its origins, Hutsul culture is colorful and lively.

The Russians are Moksha and why care about the Ukrainians? Hutsul is unique to the Ukrainian Karpat, one of the oldest settlements from which the Ukrainians derived and neither Romania nor Hungary has this type of origin or culture. Try to find out more from the Hutsul people themselves, because when the first civilizations already inhabited the lands of Ukraine and established themselves there, neither Romania nor Hungary had such settlements and formation is more later than Ukraine

In fact?! So the music and dances of the Hutsul are more similar to those of the Hungary and Romanians??? Than those of their Slavic relatives? What do you know about the origin of the Hungarians and their settlement in today's Hungary? What do you know about Europe and its history? What specifically do you know about this area that we are talking about here? Can one weigh or measure the ignorance and stupidity of the so-called "Westerners"?
