The arguments about Krynky could basically be made about the war in general. It wasn't just Ukraine never had a chance against the much superior Russian army but this whole war didn't even have to be fought. The AFU completely missed the point of the Russia withdrawal from the far bank in Kherson. It was far too easy to get cut off, and even with their superior naval assets capable to resupply a potential fortified position in Kherson, Russia decided it wasn't worth the trade. So they let nature fight for them, and used the river as a moat instead. The Ukrainians thought they won some kind of victory in Kherson, only to fall right into the trap that the Russians cleverly avoided. Russia doesn't care about PR victory, it only cares about actual victory. They will pull back to better positions if it's the smart idea. Ukraine however, can never give up a bad idea, and so many times will keep sending units to a pointless death because they are scared of how it might look. Same in Bhakmut, Avvdivka, and Rabotino, and so many more times the AFU forces to got surrounded and kept trying to hold unwinnable positions. Russia is happy to keep the door open and let them come in while they have full fire control over the entrance/exits to these areas. It's a production line feeding the AFU soldiers to their end, and it's not Russia forcing them to come in. It's like watching the cattle walk into the slaughterhouse on their own. It's funny how many westerners still say we don't know what Russia will do next. They will do what they said they will do from day 1, and that is the total elimination of the AFU. 😊

The BBC's report on the horrors facing the Ukrainian marines in Krinky clearly told the truth but I don't recall them asking what was the point of the bridgehead when there was no possible means for them to expand it, let alone provide sufficient supplies to even maintain the bridgehead! Strategically it was a dead duck from the outset because they could never get armour or enough men to launch a breakout from the bridgehead in Krinky.

Krynky had some of the most heartbreaking footages in this war, i remember some videos showed the Drones swarming marines, who got trapped in their boats, in middle of winter river.

I can't imagine the Ukrainian elite formations are all that elite by now. Their infantry, at least, have all been replaced by conscripts or worse, forced conscripts.

Ukraine just lost over ten thousand soldiers in that last battle, that NATO commander whom has no experiences kept sending soldiers to die. The past few months is bad for Ukraine as morality is dropping while dissertations and surrendering happens in not tens but hundreds of Ukraine soldiers while the brave one die in bombings. Since Russia started using modified gliding dumb bombs the wind has shifted as Russia continue to advance into Ukraine occupied areas. Ukraine commander said the war is lost and he proposed to restart negotiations with Putin but NATO commander refused the idea. The total casualties are in multiple hundreds of thousands, yet Western media hide the numbers. The war Will not end until the US election is over, doesn't matter who wins the war will reach it end phase this November, depend on how Ukraine forces' performance at that time will determine how the negotiation goes.

I have heard many things awful about this war and I still found myself actually crying when hearing about all those poor men that died. I don't consider myself pro-ukrainian or a very sentimental person but something about hearing of their needless and, ultimately, pointless deaths just reminds me how much I hate the despicable people we call leaders that have got us here. Krynky has always been an exercise in futility and insanity. How was light infantry, supplied by inflatable boats, supposed to push out of that bridgehead and advance against dug in Russian forces with armoured vehicles, artillery and aviation? Effectively these marines were tasked with pushing to Crimea without heavy weapons and carrying supplies by hand, because any makeshift bridge would get immediately destroyed by Russian missiles and aviation! It was madness, from whichever angle you look at it.

This is outright criminal, I have no words for this disastrous operation.

The segment with the missing soldiers was hard to watch, I had to force myself not to cry... This pointless war has to end. It's inhuman not to want peace.

I've been pointing out for months that Ukraine is running out of men. And simple math tells us Ukraine will run out of men long before Russia will just due to the big differences in population.

And to think...there was an agreed to peace agreement two weeks after the war started...but was not accepted by NATO for reasons.

It is heart breaking to hear of the tragic loss of so many young Ukrainian lives (largely very young men) for absolutely no reason other than to satisfy NADO's heinous geopolitical ambitions. There are many equally tragic Russian losses too. And all for what? It is actually over nothing. But how is it possible for such brotherly peoples, that are SO closely connected through proud Slavic ethnicity, culture, religion, language and so much shared history to be divided and conquered like this? Sometimes all it takes is a handful of traitors at the top. Ellensky must face justice for his part in this unforgiveable conspiracy, alongside the real perpetrators.

As for the Krinok, this is a very scary place. Swamp, mines, and human remains. All this is mixed into a single mass. No one will find all those who stayed there. After the war, it is worth building a single monument there to the victims of Zelensky's madness. As for Ugledar, it is difficult to call it an attack on Ugledar. The whole front is moving there. Not for a length of fifteen kilometers. And over a length of hundreds of kilometers. And a small movement of the front at such a length, this is a lot of territory. Such constant movement deprives the Ukrainian army of the opportunity to build long-term fortifications. While they are building them, these fortifications turn out to be in Russia.
