Hi, raining all night and the roof is not leaking, that's already something. Windows look modern. A small cottage needs less heating. "Tiny house" is trendy anyway. So much better.

Hi Vita, It is painful to watch you going from one problem home to another. To have peace at home, most things should work most of the times. You are smart and resourceful and I am sure you will overcome the new challenges. The stove and oven may not be safe to be connected to Gas, since the rusted parts may start fires in areas that are not immediately visible to the eyes and since the structure is made of wood, things may catch fire easily. So, please buy a new stove or just a tabletop electric cooking appliance. For the yard, I would invite the local cows for a nice green party to clean up the yard for you. I am sure they will not eat the sofa! Stay strong Ukraine, you are going to win.🎉

Certainly wasn't expecting such a drastic change of residence, but I sure am glad that you found a property fit for living and managed to minimise financial losses, trading Cherkasy for Zhytomyr... That cute blond child who came to check out the new beautiful neighbour gave a positive vibe for starters; at last an indoor bathroom with running water, kitchen looks great even if the stove needs replacement. Maybe a water heater would be a useful investment? You have a lot of cleaning, again, to do, but finally you have access to all the necessary amenities. And you will spend only a third of the cost of gasoline traveling back and forth. Need to be extra careful with the road conditions though 😔 Glad you found your way out of the problematic house in Cherkasy 👍🏻 Sure gave you a lot of material to upload content here, the surrounding area was like a part of heaven, but it was getting impossible to stay there. It may not have the character of your old house but you have water and gas and can make hot water with a proper electric water heater. The most important part of a house is the roof. If the roof is watertight your house will last. Maybe you need to find a skilled person to check the roof and seal it against water. Your house is 10 square feet less than mine.

You need a Canning Cattle to make hot Water ...

The soft city life in modern apartment building without mice must have changed her perspective to "Live, and Let Live". Well as long as fresh cat food magically lands in the food bowl life is chill! By now your to do list at your new house must be quite long. All in due course, but I suppose you are focussing on the outside things before the weather changes in a couple of months. What is heating source? Wood burning heating or Electric heater? You could use a work crew of guys for a few days - perhaps you can attract some with cold Ukrainian beer! I was wondering when you would melt that rubber bucket...lol I thought it would have melted a hole in the botton, but with the water in side? i guess it wouldn't...just get a wooden branch, and put it a cross the top of the plastic bucket and wrap the heater coil cord arond it, so just the coil part is ithe water. ;) i hope this idea will help you? :) This now place has a garage or storage area..that is cool. :)
