Lesson 2 in the Spiritual School Workshop Series was taught by Gogo Sihlahla, who breaks down the process of ukufemba and gives guidance on finding your roots.
Please please please add English Subtitles for those of us in diaspora who are trying to reconnect to and understand our spiritual roots. Much love from Trinidad.

Thokozani, this was very insightful 🥹. A lot of heartfelt truth, especially the “batho ba tlo reng”, that line is still a barrier to our progress because of our parents’ “fear”. Thank you for this profound teaching. Makhosi 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Thokozani Thanks for sharing this video with the world. I don’t speak isiZulu and am being trained as an inyanga now. My first language is English. However, when I stumbled on this video I was held in my seat to watch it completely. When normally I would move to another video where they speak more English so I can get a fuller innerstanding. But for some reason upon listening to Gogo teach, I could see my inner being laying down watching and listening to every word and I was thinking. Which of me is really innerstanding here because this isn’t my first language? This is a bit “scary” but not in the sense of fear. I will be in SA this year and I would love to meet with Gogo. In October 2007 I was injured in a bus accident and by November 2007 I became a ovo vegetarian and stopped eating canned foods. I was thinking it was because of the brain injury. Then in 2016 I began to eat a vegan diet. But from November 2022 until January 30th 2023 I only ate cabbage 🥕 🍅 red onions or greens, 🍅 and red onions with rice or noodles. If I ate anything else I would get sick. I shall see what all this brings. Thanks for sharing this video. Makhosi

Thokoza Gogo, I have seen in my dream a lady putting on ihiya exactly the same as this one you are wearing gogo. Celeni kwakhe kune khobolo limbozwe ngehiya nalo elinjengaleli oligcokile. This woman told me her name and told me she want me to be successful but I don't respect her. I'm confused . Is this sishweshwe symbolic, should I pay attention or its just a dream Gogo? Please help me.
…NDAU NDAU…my two bob’s worth…We inherit our mitochondrial dna from our maternal side and that contains our historical lineage and our ancestry…since AMandawu are historically displaced it will make sense that to find our path and way home it will mostly be through our matrilineal hence NDAU ancestors are mostly female…NDAUWE 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Ecclesiastes 9;5-6 yes,the living know they are going to die,but the dead know nothing. They have no further reward;they are completely forgotten.Their loves, their hates, their passions, all died with them. They will never again take part in anything that happens in this world. Leviticus 19:31"Do not go for advice to people who consult the spirits of the dead. If you do,you will be spiritually unclean.I AM THE LORD YOUR GOD. 20:6 " If anyone goes for advice to people who consult the spirits of the dead;I will turn against him and will no longer consider him one of my people. 20:27 " Any man or woman who consults the spirits of the dead shall be stoned to death;any person who does this is responsible for his own death.
