Totally man. Really some days have been just arduous but I'm so glad I remembered these dudes today. Especially in this winter. Feels good to see high spirited people and have it rub off on ya on down days.
I absolutely love you guys. Nothing makes me feel happier, makes me want to get up and dance, or go get my uke and sing along. What an entertaining concert and phenomenal choice of songs.
Why haven’t I heard of these great musicians before? Remind me of the Beatles and The Beach Boys. Do you have albums? Thanks for bringing such joy to the divided world today. We need you!
How cool that they included a song from a little known ( but very good) group named The Dillards. Anyone familiar with The Andy Griffith show knows them as “The Darlins”.
George is alive and well, so is Hester who is also missing. Look on the Ukulele Orchestra website for all of their wonderful lock-down material, you will see them all playing there
On the morning of the Vernal Equinox I could not imagine better music. Brilliant! My friends are deeply involved with Folk Music of all genre's. Kudos and thank you for the smiles you have given my friends this morn.
Thank you guys your all amazing 😍so talented, love the performance and wishing you all the best through these horrid times with getting back on the road again, love from Australia 💕🙏
Wow, me impresiona lo lejos que llegó Les luthiers, para inspirar a musicos de hasta Gran bretania. Increible. Y muy buen grupo de musica, suena muy lindo.
A great sarcastic tone to all songs……it takes some great songs that replicate our usual songs…much likely forced to begin to get acquainted to the tunes and the players that sorta kinda do the applications to become a fan of ridicule….the group gets to you until you get a liking for the plagiarism you hear….legally?
This was so fucking painful to watch. Their singing and playing has dropped precipitously. There're like 3 new folks that I'm not familiar with as well. Will's and Jonty's singing in the first 2 songs is so hard to listen to; it's not bad per se but I've seen these performed like a decade back and the contrast is stark and pretty sad tbh. Of course, they've aged, but it's really tough to watch. Very poignant but inevitable I suppose.
Yeah I was looking forward to seeing a recent version of the famous Life on Mars and he definitely cannot hit the same notes, not bad, but not as good.
I appreciate that you are a fan, but George is on reserve?, and with only Hester is there to balance out all that sausage and testostorone. In any event it will never be the same without Kitty. For a venue in NYC that is only an hour, I STILL love them.
