Amazing virtual tour! This video makes me feel as if I were walking there. As we are aware, COVID-19 pandemic doesn't allow us travel around the world, in that case, this is the best video for me:) Appreciate your excellent work!
Wow! Some time ago I saw Ulaan Baatar in a dream. Was near a big beautiful modern building with colorful stonework at the corners. On one wall underneath a portico (I recall a hanging lantern; this place was only 2-3 floors high) was a large map of Mongolia, mosaic style, possibly done with remnant ceramic tile pieces fit together like a perfect puzzle. I think the map was green. Does this sound at all familiar? I would know this building if I saw it. The style would be for a museum, library or maybe government facility. Tonight (Tues. 12th) The Hu is playing about 100 km north of here. I'm not going because I'm too scared to go anywhere these days. Kind of like your Hazara friend I am experiencing persecution from an unknown source. I really have a lot to tell you Bayaraa but much of it isn't safe to say here.
Hey there pal. Sad to hear that you can't watch The Hu concert. Even I didn't get the chance to see them live. They're global superstars now. That's an interesting dream. Couple of places are coming to my mind but I'm not sure. Maybe sketch would help. Take care man.
@@realmongolia101 Boy now there's a handicap of mine. I can fully restore statues & icons, patching & painting like a pro but I can't draw. What I saw would be tough to sketch anyway. Perhaps a few more videos & I'll post my Eureka moment. "That's it! THAT'S IT!!!" I leave it in your capable 👐 Bayaraa. Weather here is freaky. Downright stupid. Only 2 days ago it was steaming hot & today it's chilly like what I see in your recent vids--people in coats & heavier jackets. Windows all closed yet heat is off, LOL, I like that! Running the A/C in October, mm, not so much. 😀💝
beautiful town example 7.20 you can see street with typical Eastern European town style I really like it and the apartments with balconies that exactly like in East Europe example Poland Czech Republic or Slovakia or Baltic countries exactly the same influence.
Maybe Ulaanbaatar cannot be compared to Tokyo or other developed city so you may think the city is run down. All I can say is that Mongolia only started growing in less than few decades so do not make the judgement that easily & be open minded!
@@realmongolia101 , from what I understand there are about twice number of Mongols in Inner Mongolia in China than in Outer Mongolia. Moreover, the Mongols in China are still allowed using their original writings and not Cyrillic.
Very peculiar! In the capital of Mongolia, all signs are in English! Mongolia or at least its capital must be very westernized; so bad for a people with history who rather than promoting their own language and culture use a foreign language instead. I hope they don't imitate America or UK in demeanor or culture. I personally don't respect anybody who tries HARD to be somebody else, God has created people of different races and cultures for a reason and that is exactly the very reason the world is not boring and variety in culture and values make it worth studying. A nation that follows another nation's culture will lose its creativity and turn into consumers not creators and producers of culture.
@@tengrimongol6599 First of all nobody talk about Russia! Second you think Mongolia is democratic, it is a corrupt liberal system. Third, I don't care what political system you do have in Mongolia, the fact that all your city is filled with English rather than Mongolian language shows that you don't have a great culture to follow and have to eat up whatever west offers you. Grow up and study for a change.
@@tengrimongol6599 I am not Russian and can not read Russian but it is interesting that you brag about not becoming Russian and write in Russian?! You guys are confused! For a small nation with little cultural achievement it is not uncommon that they have to adopt other cultures that for Mongolians it was Chinese, Persian, Russian and now American I suppose.
Everyone with a mask, that's terrible. Why is there not resistance against the corona hysteria? I am happy that I live in a small town where there is still a lot of nature. Here in Ulaanbaatar people walk past each other with quick steps. People seem completely disinterested in one another. I believe that having a lot of cars makes a city ugly. There are only a few trees between the sidewalk and the street. No more nature visible. No animals here. In this city, people have become so far removed from nature.
