Thanks for video! Going to Ullapool this summer. I am sensitive to chewing sounds, but had to watch it as i love food as well. Definitely will try all these places :)

What a wonderful channel you have, Dan! As I was watching you eat..I told myself "Why am I enjoying watching a handsome guy eat food so much?" 🙄 And then it hit me: This is a form of ASMR! 🙂 Seeing you show and talk about the food in detail..preparing it..hearing you eat it..and watching the expression in your eyes of obvious enjoyment you are having. It's all typical ASMR which is very relaxing and enjoyable. On a side note..thank you for mentioning that fish had cilantro in it. I'm allergic to cilantro and thought I didn't have to worry about that in Scotland since it's mostly used in Latin and Asian dishes..so I'll make sure and ask before I order food when I visit Scotland in a few years. You have a wonderful and kind personality and I hope one day we can share a meal together my friend! Take care! 😉👍 #liked #subscribed

Hey thanks so much Nightbird! I like to say that my content has an ASMR aesthetic as I enjoy capturing the sounds of the food / environment and all the visual details; although you will find that my content is also quite different from typical ASMR channels on the platform, and more similar to standard travel/food review channels. I'm not 100% sure that was cilantro, could have been parsley, always better to ask :)

Great videos mate I would love to travel and eat some of the food you are having, did you get public transport all the way in the highlands I don't drive and live near Edinburgh how easy was it going from place to place?

Hey David, thanks for watching! Yes, I generally travel by public transport, you can easily get to Inverness by train or bus, and from there there is then a twice daily bus for Ullapool! In general, I'm finding it quite convenient to travel around Scotland by public transport!
