Thank goodness you got another shade! Using a lighter shade of foundation makes me zero in on any imperfections I have, which is why I prefer to get a darker foundation instead of going lighter. With Ulta not having testers out to test, I’ve been struggling getting the right shade and so I have to adapt and just use my concealer to lighten if I have to. I hate returning things 😩
Totally agree. It's so hard without testers and yes there are bigger issues but it's really frustrating. I hate returning but I don't feel bad since we can't test in stores. I'm not keeping a $50 foundation if it's not the correct shade (I had to order from KVD and it was literally about that much, so hopefully I like it)

If you prep your nails with alcohol the press on nails can last about 2 weeks. I’m allergic to nail polish and nail glue too, it’s the only way I can do nails.
It's no surprise that fair makeup makes your skin look textured.Imagine that the product will eventually get into every little line and pore you have and since it's a light colour,it will reflect light.The darker the shade,the more light it absorbs/the less it reflects.This why as a dry skin person,I avoid lighter shades like the plague.Even some makeup artists like using a slightly darker shade and matte highlight the face the face later to fix tge tone.
I hate when a hyped up foundation just doesn’t work for me. The L’Oréal infallible fresh wear does this to me. I’ve tried it so many ways because I really wanted to love it, but it just enhances all my texture and dry spots.
Fresh Wear is my favorite foundation. Have you tried Joah Beauty Truly Yours foundation? It has an awful shade range but this foundation doesn’t cling to my dry areas and doesn’t emphasize my texture.
I have super oily skin and this is the only foundation that works for me. But I still have to really moisturize and use a dewy primer with it. You might have more luck with the total cover one.

I love the honesty reviews and the insert was great... Love the honesty you give in all your reviews... ALSO....... Tiktok is great and fun and entertaining but I personally do not feel you get a true representation of a product line we do from you or other you tube influencers/ gurus etc... Just seeing how it looksdoes not give you a full representation of the product especially with the foundation like you want to know how it applies do you have to set it can it self set what does it look like when it's powdered and of course how does it wear on certain types of skin and I just don't feel that you get that with such a short video like tik Tok so thank you to all of you that continue to do more in-depth reviews like this it's great for us consumers 💜💜
I really appreciate the take #2, I thoroughly enjoyed this. This should be a series, where you retry things with a different prep to see if you get the same results or compare "old" things you liked.. I find some of the new versions aren't as good as the old ones. Someone tell me I'm not alone 😭😂

When you begin to see dry patches/fine lines your skin is dehydrated. Try using a hyaluronic acid serum underneath your regular skincare to plump up your skin you can use it under your eyes as well ..You can also use Squalane serum as it plumps up dry skin as well I use a drop under my eyes as a prep for my concealer ..
I haven't seen any positive reviews on that foundation, but makeup is subjective, so 🤷🏾♀️ You're always a doll & so fun to watch 😉. Thanks for another great video ✌🏾
I have normal to dry skin and I do have some weird texture areas (btween brows, mustache area) and omg yes less is infinitely more, I use a brush then a damp sponge. On texture areas I tap on/in the foundation with a finger. Hopefully this works for you! I love how this foundation can be worn really sheer and really full :D
I only watched Soph's video before yours but the foundation looked amazing on her skin even tho she mentioned that she has some dry patches and eczema at the moment. Also if you have dry skin you should avoid brands like Ole Henriksen since his products are formulated with really high amount of fragrance which could further dry out the skin

A long time ago I've had a foundation like that, It would settle in every line and every pore and made my skin look dry and crusty even tho I have oily skin 🤢😭 anyway thank you for the video, I've liked a lot the fact that future Jess added the review of a second chance 😂 P.S. I want this badly but it’s sold out on Ulta and the. I went to my local Ulta store and I swear, it’s all sold out. People bought the hell out of this foundation.
If it’s only the glue that’s an issue, and not acrylic, you could either have a tech, or buy the products yourself, and put dip powder on your natural nails which will keep them safe and let them grow without adding tips.
Have you tried a hyaluronic acid serum on your skin? it helped me a lot for my skin texture, now is super smooth all the time. The Fourth Ray Rainfall one is amazing

It gets oiler as the day goes on but not badd unless your an oily skin person.Any other skinny pest it does work for at least up to 8 hrs.really nice.from ALLL THE REVIEWS I E SEEN.LOL
I tried it 2 days in a row (with my correct shade) and it looks ok indoors but then I got in my car and was like JESUS. So dry, clung to everything on my skin and sunk into all my fine lines (even with setting it). The worst foundation I’ve tried in a while! 😭 and it sucks because it looks so good on other influencers online!
I don't understand all the hype with the sky high mascara either! This foundation seems so nice but I feel like it's for people who have close to flawless skin
The impress can actually last up to two weeks and I’m really hard on my nails. Just make sure if your natural nails don’t fully cover the glue, take a setting powder or a clear nail polish and set the exposed glue because if you don’t it’s a dirt and hair magnet and they get disgusting.
I did a review on this foundation as well and hated it at first. It looked so textured and awful. But after about an hour it looked really good. I guess it needed time to sink it. It was so strange.
watching you review the foundation and zoom in on the crusty spot and then looking back out at the whole picture with your (more) tan eye holes and the white as SHIT foundation literally made me cackle. 🥴
The first review I watched on the foundation it looked really bad on her because of her super dry skin and I have even worse dry skin (most foundations don’t work with me) so it definitely wouldn’t be worth my money. Plus that cheap dollar store packaging and high price they’re making off it I’ll pass haha. 😂
It’s not a dry foundation but the consistency, since it’s balmy couldddddd settle in some peoples skin differently. Serum foundations do the exact same to my skin, just doesn’t look good 😂 but yeah I’m still testing it with different bases!
