All I can say is, "Wow!" These videos are fantastic. The editing, music, driving, etc. are all exceptional. The green Traxxas X-Maxx is stunning. I love all of my many, many Traxxas RCs. And, I love these Traxxas videos!
Their vids are quite bad.... They need to do more then just doing slo-mo with bad music and rookie editing. They can afford a skilled producer/editor if they can afford the worlds best patent troll attorneys.
To be fair, its a king of some things. Other 1/5 scales to other things that is far superior then the Xmaxx so how can the Xmaxx be king? To be king it needs to be best at all category's and it doesn't. Its a fanboy thing to say, saying "the Xmaxx is king" or "none one is killing it soon". Still takes upgrades to make it good like any other RC.
This video makes me want to go drive my xmaxx now. This past Christmas I bought one for my son and I could not resist myself I had to go get one for myself best money I have ever spent it's awesome when me and my son go out together with both trucks
Because they are toxic to the industry. Trying to crush the little guys through lawsuits and by not allowing some hobby shops to carry anything but their parts. They don't want you to know there are better options
Oh you guys have just about convinced me to get one! saying goodbye to my Kraton 8S order! I am running a vote on my channel for what to buy and the Xmaxx is at 68% so far!
Man, that green pops! on the X-Maxx. Would kill to own one ;) Is anyone else wishing for a much needed Stampede 4x4 update/remake? Or is it just me? Lol.
Well looks like the xmaxx has 1 soft spot when it went up that dirt ramp. It really warmed my heart in that seen even more with the soft music good job traxxas.
Built my Xmaxx using new parts off of Ebay. I love this truck. I customized it as I built it. Leopard 5892 Hobbywing Max6 Proline Badlands Proline reservoirs Savox servo for steering. Best truck I have ever owned. This beast is controlled by Futaba 7PX
Sorry i'm not hating. It's a good thing that Traxxas released a new video of the great Xmaxx because lately the trend has been the Armma Kraton 8s. It also makes me think that Traxxas has been threatened. Good marketing.
Xmaxx is still king in my mind,I live in Canada, I've bashed mine in -50 weather, nothing else I own takes the punishment like my xmaxx, keep it up traxxas!
I have the mighty Xmaxx and it's so fun to drive and bash and I would recommend anyone who wants a extreme basher they should get the Traxxas Xmaxx 8s, it's a true beast.
True to the core King of Bashers, the only large scale capable of taking a nose dive 50 ft in the air and not break the chassis. Traxxas should add a space in the truck to be able to add an optional 5 to 10 pound weight to use it for tug of war. Some channels love to perform tug of wars between large scales and most of the time the X Maxx loses because its lighter.
I love the look of the X-Maxx, it’s awesome, and Traxxas really do lead the way in the RC world, with such good designs, build quality and durability, not to mention all of the extra technology that you can add, like all of the Telemetry kit and Full LED Light set. I can’t wait to get one, it’s a shame they are so much more expensive here in the U.K, currently £1079 @ 12th April 2020 And I may wait until the Corona Virus Lock Down has been lifted, so I can take it out properly! (Although, I do enjoy installing upgrades, so sitting at my work bench for a few hours a day working on an X-Max would be great at the moment.
Define durability because it fails at many aspects. Its chassis design may be solid but that alone does not make it leading the way. The ESC is bad and servo among many parts and the truck is mostly plastic at a high price when plastic production is far cheaper then metal with durability out of the equation but for some reason the Xmaxx cost as much if not more then other RC's made mostly of metal which cost more to produce. The Xmaxx to be fair should of been priced at $699 and that is modest for it.
Joe Dirt In my opinion, it’s durable because it’s plastic, it’s designed to flex and move back, not like metal which will stay bent. It’s not durable when it’s driven by idiots, trying to jump over the next door neighbours house, and smashes onto the hard floor, then they wonder why it’s broken ! Never mind not keeping it clean and maintained. Same for the electronics, if it’s abused it will let you down, if it’s used properly and looked after, it will keep going. I had a TRX-4, and I looked after it well, kept it clean and maintained, and it never let me down, not once. It’s all about the individual using it, as to how durable it is. The price could be lower, agreed, but that is reflected in their great customer service, you pay more for quality, simple.
