This whole battle looks like a fanfic written by a German admiral: even bigger Bismarck curbstomps Royal Navy with impunity while Sabaton is blasting in the background.
Battlestations keep your Targets steady in sight. Into Formation the Hunt has begun. Death and Damnation. The Fleet is coming. She Was made to rule the Waves access the seven Seas.
hmm, isn't Sabaton from Sweden not Germany, other than that minor detail, yep, lol. perhaps it would be Rammstein or Münchener Freiheit, or maybe Anita Tanz by Tommy Steiner, lol.
I'd call it a bit of an H-39 or even H-40, cause its got only 8 guns instead of 12, and I believe its a bit slower, now it does have waaaaay more secondary armament, but it has a single funnel instead of the twin funnel, so less efficiency
so.. Stealth basically just built the final H-class Battleship project, the H-44. Nearly to the T (nearly since.. secondaries and torpedoes). well played dear Stealth, well played.
@@ivantruth7229 isn't most of Norwegian oil located at the sea? I doubt technologies for extracting it existed back then. Anyway he would be attacked by stalin in 42-43.
@@ivantruth7229 the key words are the US and prototype. I mean, if the US had the technology, it doesn't mean that it wasa available to germany. The place where they could actually obtain oil was Lybia, if only the knew where to search...
@@Arthion I mean, technically speaking they were all **meant** to be scaled up Bismarcks. Of course that got a bit foggy after H-41/42. 43 and 44 were just massive behemoths raining hell on their targets.
This may already be in the game, but one way to solve the bulkhead balancing issues is to have lower bulkheads increase efficiency (fire-fighting speed, reload speed, anti-flooding effectiveness, etc). That way low bulkhead ships fire much faster but have higher risk, while high bulkhead ships have high survivability but decreased offense. That would further explain why any ship would choose “standard”... best of both worlds. It could also scale non-linearly to favor many and few over max and min, allowing you to choose one specialty at great cost or make a compromise.
@Casimir Marschall Or, the game devs keep the carrier out to allow players to design the superheavies to counter the superheavies. There exists a reason why WOWS has a bad rep since the carrier and submarine were introduced.
Bigger guns are more powerful but not necessarily more effective. Yamato had bigger guns then the planed Montana-class but Montana would have still out gunned Yamato by having three more guns thus a heavier broadside.
I imagine if those 2 turret at the front fire, how many people would get knock out from the recoil in the bridge because the gun is basically a part of the ship superstructure Just like how bismarck kill her own radar by the gun blast
Just for everyone in the comments. The longest range confirmed hit by a naval gun in battle was by HMS Warspite on Giulio Cesare in WW2 at approximately 24 km.
One thing I find very strange is how the heavy cruiser hulls are nearly as damn wide as a battlecruiser. Generally cruisers were a lot narrower even if they retained a lot of length for hydrodynamics.
People say the Bismarck couldn’t take in battle ships cuz if it’s 15 inch guns, and it couldn’t most ships had 16 inch guns, it only had those to take out the commers escorts like there cruisers and 8 incher secondary’s to take out the transports but with this things 20 inch guns it could easily be a commers raider and brawler
@@friedwaldderlebendige8494 i was originally planned to do that but idk if most people know me Im german but not. Also, they might be too lazy to translate it
Well, to be honest, you are saying the German 20" are overpowered - which they were (as coastal defense already). They were incredibly accurate and absolutely deadly with an experienced crew that used them as mortar shells (even the 15" killed the HMS Hood).
Nah, just stick a butt load of AA guns on the deck and let the buggers have it! Imagine getting into range only to have 40 AA guns dump a shit ton of lead and flak into you as if they do this every day!
fun fact: the H class was a planned series of bigger bizmarks ranging from the H 39 (with 16 inch guns) to the H 44 which possibly would've had 20 inch guns making yamato shit her pants
You know, at 20 inches, that's not a Bismarck, but rather a H44 from the Z-plan. Granted all H-series, which Bismarck was part of, all look relatively similar
If they are adding stuff maybe they should add an option for your torpedo tracks too easy to lose the ones you launch and then have an accidental friendly fire (which never IS!) incident
Loved the video Stealth17 Gaming! I hope to see more videos with the Agir soon as this ship is definitely worse than the Bismarck. Stealth17 Gaming: "I'm thinking of a Super Bismarck …" Me: "Uuhhh… Isn't that what Friedrich der Größe and die Größe Kürfurst were supposed to be?" Also, hope things are going as well as can be expected for you on War on the Sea man!
*Builds a one shot behemoth that has a 20-30% chance to hit* Complains about the ai don’t managing to do damage. Of corse they didn’t any damage their best weapons was the torp and your 130000 tons behemoth ate then for breakfast and in return one shoted all the ships that carried any torpedo
33:25 well, you cannot outrun a 20 Inch Shell don't ya? 3:25 Fun Fact: It would more likely be a younger Sister because German ships were considered as female. :)
"According to the senior surviving officer, Baron Von Mullenheim-Rechberg, Captain Lindemann believed that a formidable ship such as BISMARCK, should be called “he” as befitting it's strength and power. Von Mullenheim-Rechberg acted as Captain Lindemann's aide for a time. He describes Lindemann in great detail in his book Battleship Bismarck."
The names of ships are generally feminine, especially for ships that are named after cities and countries: Die "Bremen", die "Deutschland", die "Europa". As a rule, this also applies if a male personal name is used: Die "Graf Spee", die "Bismarck" or die "Gorch Fock". (I am German myself, and the calling of a ship in German ist female. The custom of classifying ships as female was introduced by Kaiser Wilhelm II based on the English custom. www.google.com/amp/s/www.merkur.de/reise/titanic-oder-margaretha-wieso-sind-schiffe-eigentlich-weiblich-zr-8599352.amp.html )
When is the release date on this ive been seeing this on this channel forever and it's been on my wishlist for a whole year now. My computer will be outdated by the time this comes out lol
The Royal Navy would legit just outright give up as soon as they discover the overall result of the battle, and all because of a single battleship with 20in seige machines bolted to the deck... "Sir, we've just received word of the result of the intercept operation." "Good, how did it go?" "We lost the entire task force..." "WHAT?!?" "They were pulverised by the Agir..." "Right, send a destroyer to Germany with a white flag on the flag mast and let's hope they take our genuine surrender seriously." "Yes sir."
can remember black white video of bismarck firing, surrounded by watersplashs from enemy shells and suddenly hms Hood made big Boom......and captain still held fire back on bismarck for seconds, lol, german quality
ya know its sad how there's 2 BBS on the enemy team but they have 14 inch guns and battle cursiers have 2 inches more than the BBS welp since I aperntly have seen this before I like how he goes 8.9% chance to hit at that range sure it should be a better chance but he did put the range to very short
imma pop into UA:Dread to build this along with you cause I have ideas and opinions...namely that 18's offer a more effective turret mass to damage output than 20's
