Love how everyone shits on the ford v10 engine and the ford superduty gassers in genral but now one of the best off road builders builds a truck in a hurry and changes people perspective real quickk!! Im glad someone is really sheding light on these great trucks
Things I learned wheeling a full-size rig for years: No matter what line you pick the truck is just gonna go where gravity takes it. People generally look at you like you’re insane when you put a full-size truck on Jeep size trails and obstacles. Momentum is you’re friend. Drivetrain beef is a major priority. It’s a dang good time!
@@thedirtheadshed Those rock /boulder formations are super common in this area. I've been trying to make it out to where you guys were. Now I really need to get out there!
Also, I never really considered a trailing arm set up for rocks, but there was a few times it looked like they were acting at rock sliders and helping that tire up onto obstacles Looked like it did a good job protecting the driveshaft too!
Hilarious that your truck kind of just looks like a run of the mill mall crawler but was actually crushing it off road. Really good driving by you as well. It was super fun to see this build and then you took it out right away to use it.
I loved the "dropping bars" part and Moms Spaghetti reference. Hilarious. Big Ford doing well. That first trail was tough. Gonna be fun following the Adventure this year. Louie gettin it done
Honestly your red ford single cab in the neatest thing to see out there. Mainly because if you see one on the trails normally you know its just some kids about to break the work truck. (Probably me back in the day)
I got to see you guys at Rock Run when we were out with my buddies for a bachelor party. I was in an old red Teryx waving at everyone. Seeing all you guys was a lifelong dream come true!
The hole truck look's great, having said that the cage is so good. You really got it perfect. It blends in so well it almost disappears. Full size fun. 🤟😎
Great video great point of view looks like it performed well. thanks for sharing. I was amazed by your walk through the parking lot of the hotel, it looked like everybody was working on their rigs.
Guess I didn't finish it. But the pos s-10 won onyx over the 80? There are too many rookies that don't know what wheeling is about. Glad to see you still there dave.
Well, yesterday I finished the last build vid, commented to not to scratch it and low and behold you drop a vid and...not bad!!! The more i see your rig at work the more i dig it!! Awesome looking and crawling like a champ! Thanks Dave for another great vid!! Love yer truck!
Gotta keep "Howl" as your intro! Keep doing what you do! I'm putting air bags on a 99 Dodge 1500, finding. Ford 9" for the back, license plate floorboards, and a Pink Bigfoot air freshener. It smells awful but...👍
Man I got say high in west virgina! I wanted get you sign my Jeep but you all was on a mission! Damn one day I pray go on ultimate adventure life time goal ! 😊
Love the 'behind the scenes' action in your video, Dave! Can't wait for the next installment, especially since it's at one of my favorite spots, Good Evening Ranch!
Watching this video locked down in Maine. Nice do have something to keep my mind off of the mass shooting and man hunt going down around me. Thanks for being here for us. Hard explaining to my 13 year old daughter why this happened.
Loving it! I've only every been a Ford full-size guy. Nice build. You n Louie are making it look easy. I gotta ask... How do you get into the toolbox with the rack that low? How do you get the rack up higher with stuff on top?
Is that the crawler equivalent of what you’d call a sleeper in the street racing world? Looks good and seems to perform well!! Anxious to see rest of UA. Thanks for the video!
I’ve been a UA follower since the beginning years w/ DVD copies as proof. So glad that you guys are keeping on keep’n it going with great content & awesome rigs. 🔧🙌🏽
I was watching this video thinking "man that Hampton Inn looked familiar". you were like 5 min away. wish I wouldve known I wouldve driven over there. love the channel Dave, and love Ultimate Adventure. Keep upthe great videos
Awesome content! I didn’t think the off roading would be nearly as good as the fabrication, but it was. You’re just as good a wheelman as you are a builder!
Man that thing works great! That rear suspension is really great man. Awesome job. I look forward to seeing the rest of this! My home state definitely has some rock and mud! Awesome vid.
Truck looks like it did great! That orange Dakota is sweet! I've always thought those Dakotas would be a great platform. Factory V8, comfortable interiors, compact, unique, and great styling (my opinion).
