These are an improvement over the 1st gen buds. ru-vid.comUgkxK5mc3yw4xA7Mf2j6k6n1Uqv_KUgrKdeM Pros: The fit is fantastic. This is the biggest plus. They stay in my ears when running and become unnoticeable. They are tight but comfortable. The sound quality is about the same as the 1st gen buds. They pair more easily with my LG G8 ThinQ and immediately reconnect when removed from the case. The sound balance is excellent, good but not overpowering base and clean mid tones and highs.Cons: The noise cancellation is good but perhaps a little less effective than the Bose ANC on the 1st gen buds. Passthrough mode as not as good as the 1st gen buds making it a little more difficult to hear conversations when in passthrough.
Just a quick FYI. For single bud listening on the Bose QC II, simply put BOTH buds back into the case, close the lid, and then choose your bud to take back out and it will work. It's an extra step, but it does work.
@@Juice421fs I've just tested this. Works great, just stay within range of the case / right ear bud. Also make sure that both earbuds are in the case and led has turned off before opening and grabbing the left bud.
I think the galaxy buds performed relly well than the others , Idk how you are measuring quality. the airpods pro 2 and the other one got a distorted sound, but cancelled the background noise. but the sound qualitiy is better on the galaxy buds pro 2 I think.
*KEY UPDATES* 1. Since this video, the Sennheiser Momentum TWS 3 have added multipoint through a firmware update. 2. The Bose QC2 have added independent use through a firmware update.
Serious question. I purchased the bose quiet comfort 2’s because of how well they performed in your video. But…the call quality is absolutely terrible and sounds no where near as good as your mic test. (Complaints of hearing what’s around me more than my voice and crackling sounds)I’m an OTR truck driver and I wanted earbuds that cancelled out background noises like my rand McNally headset does. I have an iPhone 14 and tried everything to make the call quality better but never any luck. Any advice?
Yep. I made that same statement on another channel. I got my QC II last Friday and I love them. I also know for a fact I can use 1 at a time ( I used the right one all week while at work) not sure if left can be used as well but I know for a fact you can use the right one. Firmware updates will continue to improve them also. 🙏🇺🇲🙏🇺🇲🙏🇺🇲🙏🇺🇲🙏🇺🇲🙏🇺🇲🙏🇺🇲🙏
But here’s the thing, why not just make the single bud use a thing right out of the box? That’s flat out ridiculous for Bose to do that and to charge $300. Apple does everything right out of the box and can only improve with updates as opposed to Bose who didn’t do things right from the jump.
Problem is apple will do the opposite and roll out a firmware updates to make the buds worse in a year or two max. They’ve done this recently with the AirPod Max, released an update that made ANC worse. So now when the AirPod Max 2’s come out they can tell you how much better the ANC is on those
Great review! I agree all your rankings except transparency. I think Sony's transparency is good when not talking to people, but once I talk to someone, my voice becomes muffle and robotic, I can't use Sony's transparency mode to talk to people for a long time. But this time Bose I can, they are still slightly muffle than AirPods, but already much better than Sony and QC1. I used to only be able to use AirPods Pro' transparency for long periods of time, now I can use both of them.
Great review. I chose the QC2, and I'm impressed. I never like ANC, but it works amazing in these. I haven't used BT earbuds since they first hit the market years ago; and wow, they've changed a lot.
You never like ANC? That’s like saying you like living in the dark. ANC is so good for focusing on tasks even at an office job. There’s no reason not to like it.
@@clblanchard08 I don’t like it because it gives me headaches. I had the WF-1000XM3 and the Beats Studio Buds, both gave me terrible headaches. I’m fine with the Airpods Pro 2 though.
Great breakdown. Thanks for that. I loved the enhanced mic sound from the Sennheiser Momentum. But, at the end, I will go with Boose QC2 for ANC and Sound quality.
Wow, the microphone quality from the QC-II was crisp, cleared all the background noise and brought a very good voice reception, by far the best microphone I have ever heard
@@eric_wkng You won’t get better buds for noise cancellation for sure, mics can sound a bit distant on calls though. Definitely better mics out there like the AirPods
@@krisjones4051 Will respectfully disagree with you on that one. Add some wind noise to QC 2’s and the voice has an echo/reverb characteristic in an attempt at better noise cancellation. Sennheiser TW3 and Sony WF-1000XM4 I have both found to be better than the Bose. I’ve bought all pairs to find the best
For me it's Bose, and always has been regardless of case size, battery life, earbud weight and Knowing there earbud fit is actually painful for anything over 2 hours. Because what's important to me is the quality of sound. It's their specific sound and how by default it's accustom to my preference of music taste by delivering very well on the top end of the frequencies to hear clear, delicate intricacies amongst specifically percussion that too much bass could/would easily drown out. The bass can always be adjusted to support various genres and tuned well beyond if needed and that's always been the case with media player EQ or by the Bose app. But that's my preference of EQ and how I choose which brand of headphones to go with. You should always buy which product emphasizes and supports your style of music best. That's of course you buy headphones primarily to listen to music. There's no such thing as "best" when it comes to this stuff. Someone can't force a sound on me iknow isn't right for me or convince me it's better. "Wah wah wah Yeh but my case is .5cm shorter". These things are getting stupid small now, that larger case by .5Cm or extra 4hours of case charge isn't going to be an issue at any point, not with how accessible USB/power sockets are plus quick charge, I actually miss having the case size of the QC I as it told me battery levels which I would like to know In fact overall i would prefer a slightly bigger case if it were to offer stronger protection to my £250 product and a slightly longer battery/added features. Most kids who own these products won't know the days of struggle spending £12 on a multi pack of AA batteries for about a Weeks worth of play on a personal CD player , let alone the quality of the headphones...don't even go there It's now features for the sake of having features
I gave my AirPod pros away and decided to try the Pro 2 with great anticipation. Even though it is a fuller sound than the first gen they still don’t hold a candle to other high end earbuds as far as sound. Until Apple gives us a adjustable EQ they will always be disappointing. The adjustments in the music app just make them worse.
@@YaBoyfelipe To me the best sound are the Sennheiser, best NC with good sound are the Bose. If the Apple ecosystem is important go with the AirPods. I did discover an ear test now with the AirPods that did help me get a better sound to my taste.
For me sony sounds more fun than the buds2 pro, sure the buds win in terms of clarity but there is something in sony that makes music more enjoyable. With that being said the sony sounds warm which i personally don't like because I want that good clarity on voice and also the sony for some reason lower its volume when you use custom preset eq which I hope sony fixes. Another thing to point out is that when you turn up the volume more than 60 percent it sounds really bad but other than that it's fine earbuds. I haven't tried the other buds so I can't really compare them. Overall it depends on what you want really. If you want more neutral sound go for mtw3,if u want best noise cancellation go for Bose, if u have apple device go for airpods and if u use samsung go for buds2 pro.
Did you put it on dynamic eq which was actually the main one of my memorable originals galaxy buds. I miss the sound dynamic, climatic, bright ear piercing, vibrant, harman, faint low end which i hated. Not sure Sony on Ldac or buds2 pro on 24bit seamless codec.
Your microphone test on the Sennheiser smoked the competition. I would have to go with the Sennheiser for call audio or the AirPods Pro 2 for eco-system comparability. I think I’ll stick with my Bose 700 till I see a bargain
The Bose 700s have some of the best microphone quality you’ll find on bluetooth headsets from what I’ve heard, I wouldn’t use earphones if you’re looking for sound quality. Any wired pair of headphones will likely have better microphone quality than any other wireless headset out there.
@@RU-vidPizzer I did see a lot of reviews and microphone audio comparisons on RU-vid, I decided to go with the Bose over the flagship Jabra bluetooth headset. The Jabra did have the advantage of a microphone arm, so sounded a bit louder, but the sound from the microphone was too tinny for me, the Bose 700 microphone sounded more natural.
With respect to the video, it makes no logic to for such comparison. You can not compare earbuds from telecom companies to companies with heritage sound system history like Sennheiser, Bose, B&O, B&W, Sony..etc. Apple, Samsung, Huawei are telecom companies with limited sound system experience (maybe 10yrs old only), while others have way longer experience, they do sound system for homes, luxury cars, theaters...etc, so they are know what they are doing, when I'm buying one then I'm buying history, experience, quality, brand name..etc. You will never see Apple, Huawei, Samsung sound system in Aston Martin, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Bentley, RR..etc, cause such big names don't trust apple or Samsung to install their speakers inside. Even watches, you can not compare Apple Watch Ultra to Rolex or tag here and other high end watches. Telecom brands should stick to their domain, I don't want to see Apple jeans or Samsung cars or Huawei sneakers...etc, they are not going to win the game. Apple, Huawei, Samsung they have their own problems and challenges within the smart phone devices area itself, they should focus on it rather than enter other markets for the sake of profit.
I'm torn between the Airpods Pro 2 and the Sennheiser's, I've always loved Sennheiser's sound in all their products, but I find the APP2 ease of connection and features more appealing, also that they're literally designed for use in apple products and enhanced sooo I don't know, if I find a sale when I'm buying them I of course I'm getting the Sennheiser's, but if they aren't on sale, I'm getting the APP2
Sennheiser break easily. I just got the AirPods Pro 2 today because my momentum 3s broke in less than 4 months from basic use. The charging is horrible because the pins fail and I’m annoyed since they cost 300 which are more than AirPods. Avoid until sennheiser until they make a new earbud that isn’t bulky and poor construction quality
@@Angrod98 does sennheiser sound better? Btw I am about to replace my beloved xm4 with airpod pro 2! I dropped and killed xm4 as I had done to the previous earbuds! Anyhow I hope I like the sound of airod pro 2as well and I hope they are resilient to drops!
Great breakdown. Love the comparison between the top rated buds. As an iPhone user I have the AirPods pro original version and they are great for me. It will be a while before I make the jump for the 2’s. My other go two buds are the Galaxy Buds Live and Buds Pro from my Samsung days. I still use both of them, keeping that cycle going. Keep up the great work my guy.
In the first two years (Europe) you can go to an Apple store or premium reseller and have your battery check. Perhaps in the US it's before the end of the first-year of warranty. I suggest you do that, so they might swap the case's battery and the earbuds of they are not keeping the charge as they should, so they will last longer for you.
@@Kevin-wx9nv I have them with iPhone. They work really well "once you learn some things about them". You will see what I mean. Otherwise premium sound and all.
The only problem with Sennheiser is its plastic case joint. no matter what it will get damaged in some time I have momentum 2 already bought the case twice..
It's been a while since I've had the reflect mini in my lineup...1000 earbuds have probably come since then lol. I prefer sound on reflect mini but I'd say overall user experience and ANC is better on airpods.
I wish I can get the Galaxy buds ... I so love them... They are small and very very nice. Can you gift me yours pls, I ve never owned an earbud and I'm from Nigeria
Has anyone ridden a bike with any of these? I got a pair of earbuds off Amazon, and the wind noise cut out any sound from the buds. Idk if that’s just all earbuds or not. Thanks.
FYI, there is conversation boost for AirPods, it is like a adjustable ambient mode. Also, I like the balanced mode when you have Headphone Accommodations turned on.
Senheiser momentum 3 wireless just got a firmware update that enable multipoint connect also some other improvements . Test now Bose earbuds comfort 2 and senheiser momentum 3 wireless and see what are the difference
I want to try the Sennheisers now I just got the qc2 and was surprised at how much I loved the sound of these. I have the xm4 and the buds 2 pro and I don't care for the xm4 because of the shape and the b2p just didn't move me. I have massive ears and the xm4 still suck ass for fit , but I like the foam tips for the isolation
I had the qc2 for a week but then I returned them because I wasn’t entirely happy with the sound quality. Sure, it’s good but the price was always in the back of my head. So I got the sennheisers yesterday, they’re a little cheaper now but still pretty pricey. But damn, the sound quality is phenomenal. I never heard so much detail in In Ear headphones? It’s crazy, they sound even better than my Sony XM4 Over ear. But keep in mind, the ANC isn’t as strong as the Bose, but it’s still pretty good.
Pretty spot on review. I’ve had the Sennheisers for about a week and I have to say I’m a bit disappointed. The connectivity and Active Noise Cancellation just isn’t there. From day one I had updating issues where’d they’d fail to update the latest firmware. When you take them out of the case they automatically pair with the device, but if you’d like to adjust EQ they have to go through a second pairing when you launch the app. They sound amazing, I just wish they operated as smooth as the AirPods. I picked up the AirPods the other day and have been comparing the two, with an iPhone the AirPod pro 2s just work so much smoother and have better ANC. The Sennheisers will definitely be going back.
@@justaemptymall Apple seems to have created the most versatile earbuds. Though Sennheiser has better audio quality and mic, and I guess Bose a bit better ANC and sport capabilities.
Great review. Samsung buds can quick pair (not multipoint but close) with windows devices. My old Galaxy Buds plus could do that. I have MTW3 now and love them!
@@4nw4r 100%. They fit very snuggly. I tried the in ear xm4 as well and the difference is night and day. The reviews online speak for themselves, they are a very well designed headphone - perfect for working out. I will say the NC is not on the same level, but more than adequate in most scenarios - and their sound, mics and comfort more than make up for that. Also, I have a lot of issues regarding headphone comfort due to my larger right ear canal - the included tips and wings gave me enough flexibility to overcome this.
I would like to connect the samsung ones to a sony tv and do yoga in the mornings. Do you recon the connection could be a problem? I mean... it really is just bluetooth. It should work, but connectivity has been pointed out in the video and in a few comments so I am starting to wonder...
Most people are looking for the "best" but I agree with your philosophy. The best will always depend on individual preferences. Detailed comparisons like yours helps everyone to determine what matches their priorities. Thank you for another great comparison! 👍
@john wick The Evo are really good. I just wish 1More would do another firmware update to allow more options with control remapping like they did with eq customization. It's a very minor gripe considering everything else, though.
@@_-Z- yeah mate. I also have few things want on their next update. - Louder volume for transparency mode - Combine the Stong and mild ANC for better High and low frequency noise cancellation And yeah more flexible controls. I hate the accidental long press that change the ANC controls. Hope they give more attention on evo. Low cost beast
PLEASE HELP: I JUST REALLY REALLY WANNA KNOW- WHAT IS THE BEST SOUND EARBUDS & IS THE ONLY THING I CARE ABOUT… I WANT VERY LOUD VERY BASS HEAVY & MORE BASS & CLEAR 4K HD TYPE SOUND! I WANT THE SOUND OF BEING AT THE CLUB IN MY EAR!! BASS BASS BASS & CRISP CLEAR SOUND FROM THE LOWEST OF DETAIL SOUND WHILE BASS IS BOOMING!!! PLEASE HELP, BEEN HOLDING OUT ON BUYING EARBUDS BCUZ OF NOT KNOWING THIS ANSWER 🤦♂️ THANX!!
I’m testing out the Sonys and apples currently…I find the ANC very strong on the apple it kind of gives me a headache but I think I’ll adapt. Sonys have great sound quality once adjusted the EQ but fit a little oddly. Think I’m moving towards apple
Sorry, I own the Momentums. They are not even close to the Airpods Pro 2. They are indeed better than the first one, but they are just too warm, muddy and something about the timber is not right. They get owned even by the Galaxy Buds Pro 1 or 2.
I’m so torn between Apple AirPods 2 and Sennheiser. I had Apple AirPod prior to that, and I appreciate the noise cancelling as well as the convenience use amongst my apple devices. Yet I’m thinking of Sennheiser only because I appreciate good sound. I love the immersive music during travelling but it’s not as convenient use as apple. Very very torn.
To be honest i like ANC of BOSE QC2 best along with TW3 but I think I will choose Airpod 2 Pro becasue i have an iphone and it will be an apple ecosystem
I just bought buds 2 pro but it doesn't fit in my ear like it did to yours. There is a gap between the buds and my ear so it gets loose every 2 minutes and feels uncomfortable. If you think that you don't have small ears I recommend buying buds pro which are larger than buds 2 pro
I can't wait for the day humanity does away with intellectual property... all these headphones are just lacking in design and quality. Imagine if we could get all the features we want without having to buy new headphones everytime they add a few new features....
They are good I'll give them that I got a pair myself however the one thing that I dislike about them that will keep me from buying another pair is that I cant use the left earbud without the right, because only the right earbud is what connects to the phone
@@sherifvik I've tried to use them independently but upon further research after trying only the right earbud connects to the bluetooth, the left one just connects to the right one when it's in your ear
I found the buds 2 pro rubbish. One set of eartips includes is really poor and the sound quality way below my budget soundcore which are superb. Anc is naff too
I wasted my money in Bose sport sound ear bud , it had a hardware Bluetooth fault. After two years only option left for me to throw Bose to garbage. Never go to that brand again .
Yo great work bro. Excellent content like always. I have to ask, how would you compare the Bose to the MTW3 as far as volume & bass? ** plus I'm hearing a new product coming soon🤔😂
With the Bose, do you get phone call audio in both ears? I have the older Bose true wireless and my biggest gripe was phone call audio was right ear bud only! I switched to the AirPod Pros and really like them. I have 2 pairs as I use them all day long and battery life isn’t good for all day. But I’m now debating to go with the AirPod Pro 2 or give the Bose another try. Thanks for sharing!
@@enfamale Thanks for the info! Glad to know both ears now. With how much time I use ear buds a day…… I’d be happy if I could get 8hrs of continuous use from one pair.
I have been using the Sony WF buds for over a year, they do offer multipoint and it works well. I use an Android and Apple device, ok me for Calle and ok me for audio. They both connect well and switch to my desired settings.
Its odd, I have a tiny head. I wear XS helmets and glasses rarely fit me thats how small my head is. But the Sony xm4's fit wonderful, super comfy and overall amazing.
I have the sennheiser and the airpods. They both sound about the same with music that isn't bass heavy. But playing a bass heavy song on apple music and it becomes clear that the sennheisers have the better experience. I'm torn because the usability feels more refined with the airpods.
@@VLX1589hey, the sennheisers have better call quality, but they don’t reduce the background noise like the AirPods do. So it’s a draw. The AirPods are really comfortable to wear, but they kinda sit loose in your ear, some people have troubles with the fit so you should probably try them out first. The sennheisers sit tight and securely in the ear without feeling uncomfortable, you have to find the right silicone tips and fins though. You can wear both for a long time without noticing them. I would pick the sennheisers, they’re a bit cheaper and have a more clear sound with great bass.
Thanks dude, this is the most honest review I've seen yet,and it's nice to meet another "litter ear" guy.I want to say Galaxy Buds 2 Pro is so cute,it fits my ear almost perfect, but it's rounded shape and slick surface turn out to be a underlying "issue" that it's not so convenient to take it off when compared to other earbuds mentioned in this video because you can't easily get a grip, maybe Samsung engineers want these earbuds become a part of their customer(just kidding).
Not sure about the Sony but Sennheisser Momentum 3 have multipoint EDIT: i was wrong, it doesn't. It disconnects the first one when i select the second.
