THE ULTIMATES RETURN TO GREATNESS! Spinning out of Jonathan Hickman and Stefano Caselli's ULTIMATE UNIVERSE #1, rising stars Deniz Camp (CHILDREN OF THE VAULT, 20th Century Men) and Juan Frigeri (INVINCIBLE IRON MAN) assemble an all-new team of ULTIMATES in a series that kicks off the next chapter of the new Ultimate line. Six months ago, Tony Stark sent Peter Parker a radioactive spider to set him back on the course to become Spider-Man. Since then, Iron Lad (Stark), Captain America, Doom, Thor and Sif have begun to do the same for other lost heroes, building a network of super-powered heroes hungry for change… Now they must band together to destroy the Maker's Council and restore freedom and free will to a world ruled from the shadows!

I hope that Hank Pym and Janet can have a good relationship in this new Ultimate universe, that Hank Pym has a good spotlight and that they don't try to villainize Hank. Good chapter, this ultimate universe is interesting.

Some people think Tony Stark/Iron lad from the new Ultimate Universe is just like Spider-Man 2099/Miguel O'Hara from Spider-Man across the spiderverse, frankly I don't see it.

Until they are similar both Tony and Peter 6160 are The fist heroes in a more advanced time in which they were erased and there is a grayer world making them necessary tô free It from its tyrants

You know, something has been bugging me a bit about this storyline. How do we know the Maker is actually in the time bubble. I mean, yeah, we've seen the Maker with the section of his head missing, but that would also be the same section of the brain that would store one's sense of self. That Maker also stated how his memory and thinking weren't what it used to be. This may be a bit late to the party, but the Reed that is Ultimate Doom has been doing more to shape the Ultimate Universe more than the Maker has, and a Younger Tony Stark would be easier to manipulate than the older Howard Stark. Who's to say the Maker we know isn't playing Doctor Doom while the Ultimate Universe's Reed Richards is being used as a stunt double for what is inevitably one giant con game for the ages?

I enjoy The Ultimate Marvel comics. I hope they are a place for writers to allow creative juices to flow while they cancel whole books for the MCU in the flagship books.

So the events of The Ultimates set at the same month of June between the real world and in the new Ultimate Universe, just like Ultimate Spider-Man sets in January. Even Spider-Man of Earth-6160 makes a cameo (see Ultimate Spider-Man) along with Captain Marvel, Hawkeye (his version is no more Hawkeye) and above all else, Janet Van Dyne and Hank Pym transforming into Giant-Man and The Wasp plus Captain America is revived from the ice, as we seen in Ultimate Universe #1, and I love this new roster of the Ultimates, they're the resistance against The Maker and his council. The Ultimates is my entry point to the new Ultimate Universe along with Ultimate Black Panther. Can't wait for the story to be intertwined with The Ultimates, Ultimate Spider-Man, Ultimate Black Panther and Ultimate X-Men as I explored the new Ultimate Universe (Earth-6160) for the first time

we know also that not every origin box was sent to the original due to being dead or other reasons, some were given to individuals tony deemed to be close enough that they should have resulted in the same result but as we can see with like the shocker, they couldn't handle it or passed before it reached them, assuming it was sent to the original shocker in the first place.

I love the way this ultimate comic and ties in with ultimate Spider-Man perfectly it all makes sense how Peter has adult got the orb and turn into Spider-Man as an adult I love the ultimate comics right now

Hank is short for Henry. Both Beast and Ant-Man usually go by Hank. I’ve never seen Ant-Man/Giant-Man called Henry, but yes it is his name.

I wonder why Marvel have'nt given Hulk his own run in the old Ultimate universe n if they plan to do that that with him in the New Ultimate universe, wasn't really a fan of how they handled him back then n I think if u're gonna adapt Hulk in any universe u have to do him justice n give him the respect he deserves. I like how the New Ultimate Universe is moving along so far and I hope when they reintroduce Hulk in this universe they give him his own story and do him justice ; I'm also curious to see how he plays a role in the New Ultimate Avengers
