I think people will probably underestimate how much time, experience, frustration and pain went into finally understanding every setting and what to use :D Thanks for the shoutout man. Very good video.
I love how you addressed the fov scalling , Uniform sensitivity and its issue here few things I found while testing 177% gives the closest ads sens to your hipfire 133% gives roughly 4/3 distance of your hipfire while adsing all 1x sights are 1.1x except on magnum and degeal they are 1.5x and all guns on iron sight are 1.5x so if you like revolver as 2ndary and you seeing missing your shots try unica (good alternative to magnum) some nerd stats at 20cm (13% 800dpi)per 360 USA on @177% 1x zoom on aek is roughly 21.5cm but 1x on magnum/degeal and ironsight of everygun is nearly 25cm i hope game devs make this USA thing or monitor coefficient a better implementation as I want my 1x same as hipfire for that they need to make hipfire and ads fov same if you want hipfire and ads sense almost smililar in bf4 then use 177% or same as your monitor aspect ratio helps in sniping alot
Something i find hard to deal with is the bf4 higher zoom sensitivities is way too slow. On older cod games where im familiar with the sensitivity doesn't change across zoom levels my sensitivity is 8 inches of unads 360° and 12 inches ads across all sights but bf4 doesn't allow that
Had this on my list for ages and just got round to watching it. Very well made, no time wasted and heaps of useful information. Definitely going to try and improve my infi game with this.
Small tip, capping the framerate so your gpu isn't ever at 100% reduces input lag. Battlenonsense did a video on this. This is essentially what Nvidia reflex tries to do dynamically. The difference between 400 to 300 fps is only about 1ms in render delay where as the input lag shaved off is more than this, often in the 5-15ms range. Might not be applicable if you're CPU bound and GPU doesn't actually hit 100%.
I had bf4 on Xbox 360 a long time ago and loved it! Got it on PC 6 months ago and still loved it. Couple months ago built a new PC and had graphics on high, nearly left settings where they were. Putting over 400 hours in this game (not a crazy amount) I hit a plateau where I couldn't get better. Ive always been able to hold my own but the top top players in servers I was trash against. This video has helped me so much so want to geuinly
Battlefield 4 is a ABSOLUTE MASTERPIECE NOTHING CAN BEAT IT YOU CANNOT CHANGE MY MIND EVERY LITTLE DETAIL IS PERFECT OKAY MAYBE NOT EVERY DETAIL BUT STILL
4:27, Its not about the vacuum cleaners, its about the innocent lives trapped in an avalanche, seeking help through an emergency line, IGNORING IT IS HEARTLESS. Legit though amazing vid, really well explained will be testing a lot of these settings out even some things I never knew of in 5500+ Hours in Battlefield 4 lol
When I play Battlefield 4 PC4 (tank) you can't fly, I will shoot you down no matter how professional you are ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qhnbD_7jmO0.html
thanks for this i'm a cs player but i want to play battlefield because my friend wants to lol, i always need to be up to date with competitive settings
Thanks, I was wondering why my aim wasn't translating well between BF3 to BF4, turns out i had the joystick sensitivity on 0, feels much better after setting to default 20!
Battle-Nonsense has a video showing that high GPU usage (95-100%) actually causes more input lag. I think depending on your GPU, having uncapped FPS might actually cause high GPU usage and more input lag. Otherwise great video demonstrating all the small differences in graphics settings and explaining the Uniform Aiming shit. One question I have is weather or not shitty hit reg is actually a thing? I never really found out whether it was just a placebo thing, always looks like you have way better hit reg than I do , but could also very possibly be me having worse aim.
Hey Nickel, thought you might want to know that your ADS sens is 38.369cm. I downloaded your config and used Kovaak's sens matcher. I got your hipfire sens as exactly 36cm so it's accurate.
Very cool and detailed video. I've wondered for long why I am able to see enemies through cover on long distances, and though my pc was at fault. I'll try and change the mesh setting to fix it. I've experienced problems with framedrop on Metro, when I hear that very deep rumbling background sound. Does anyone know how to fix this? It can happen both with many players, or 5v5. I have to say I'm CPU bound, as I've got an old i5-4460 with my gtx980 and 16gb ddr3 ram, and CPU is pretty much always at 100% at all low settings.
great video. wish i knew half these years ago. the bandwidth thing really annoys me. ever since i turned off game seems a lot more consistent in dogfights. one question, if you use 100 brightness in game, what would your monitors brightness/contrast be?
I'm quite sad I cannot play this game at a consistent level because of the lag spikes I keep getting no matter what I do. I've tried every fix, every setting and what not but I still get lag spikes. This also happens ONLY in BF4. Any other BF or any other game is completely fine. Really annoying.
13:11 8 Jahre.
in CSGO I have an eDPI of 720, and I'm wondering if having the same kind of sens in BF4 would help me at all. I used to play with a super high sens for BF, and have always found it really hard to find a sweetspot. I find that CS is a much slower game, and it conflicts with my muscle memory of BF4, which has made it really hard to find a sens that makes me feel as accurate as I am in CS.
I use 800 dpi 1.1-1.4 sense in game CSGO; been global elite for 5 years and played ESEA Main for 4 years (9 years total CSGO) . Not bragging but any other FPS, sensitivity translates to. CSGO is not a slower game, idk why people have that misconception. Try being an entry fragger (generally higher sense players in CSGO terms) checking corners/ pre-aiming with huge mouse flicks(typically want to be more “wrist aim” . The lower dpi/sense in CS helps with micro movements such as being able to make a huge flick then adjust using more “wrist aim” without overshooting. Switching to ANY other FPS is easy (any decently good player in CSGO will tell you this). Sensitivity in CSGO is literally what someone is comfortable with to be able to use both “arm aim” and “wrist aim” together. People have the bad habit of using too high of sensitivity in all other games/FPS; CSGO punishes bad aim like no other. I can tell Nickel has spent many hours on CSGO you can see it in his preaiming/prefiring/ crosshairs placement/movement; takes a CS player to notice a CS player 😉
Is it possible to increase the size of enemies icons on minimap? I tried it, putting all settings related to it on max possible, but it looks like is still small. Can anyone help me?
Hey nickel, i have this problem with my mouse. It feels sluggish and slow ingame. Its not that my mouse is broken or anything.. i’ve had this problem For years now(only in bf4) sadly its unplayable this way. Let me know if you know any fix!
Are you, as a professional battlefield player (saw it on your twitter description - do not know anything about the pro scene in bf haha), excited about 2042 after seeing gameplay of it or are you planning on sticking to bf4? and btw. your links to your twitch and twitter are not working (the ones below the video).
Am I excited for 2042? Yes, as in, I'm excited for new content and mechanics to learn. There is no way I'll keep playing BF4. It's beyond boring after 8 years. Also thanks for pointing out the broken links!
Hey, i dont have any frame drops or anything like that but my cpu usage is always at 90-100% for some reason and i have a i7-9700K you got any idea why?
I know it's been 1 year, but I'll answer anyway for anyone who has the same problem. This game is very CPU hungry, try to limit the fps to a value where it doesn't use so much of the CPU and that it remains stable, and also try to put the weight of the game more on the graphics part.
No, certain settings may give you very little edge over your opponents, but it's still only you who control the mouse and react to the game - which is still main factor within FPS games. But hey, placebo effect might work. You could feel more like a "pro" with settings of a pro player. What I mean, you could gain some confidence in your gameplay.
@@Widmo40 was that troll comment? I was reading this after 12 hours of driving, so a bit tired, lol. Maybe I didn’t catch the point. Edit: lol, it was a troll, my bad. I see you used to be an uncut member.
For me, it's a tie between Ravic, Cosair, and SAB3LO. All three are amazing and have a ton of crazy entertaining content on youtube. Highly recommended.
@@nickelbf I do have it off, also when I downloaded battlefield it decided to download on steam instead of origins. I tried all the options I found online and no luck at all
@@nickelbf I will double check and download on Origin if possible, Thank you for the help. Hopefully this fixes the issue. If not I will wait for BF 2042.
