Yeah everyone thinks they’re “the guy” after 5 mins of playing. Wish we could get away from this meta shit and just play what you like because you like to play it. Soon it’ll be only mediums, or one specific build for everyone because it’s “meta”. Like who fucking cares you’re just ruining the fun

i really feel like scar mag size isn't enough to compensate the faster ttk, with so many chaos, a lot of the times, it just leads to empty mag while fighting, and die reloading

thats where good positioning comes in, i never find myself struggling with the ammo count because im not putting myself in the middle of a fight where i need to be terminator spraying everywhere, you just gotta play around your team and youll be more than alright

I like to play with 2 M and 1H. 1m with healing and 1m with wallhack, both with desfribillator... That way you can both take advantage of the scar firepower while having intel and revives for backup

3 headshots kill a heavy, I believe, I like it better than the other weapons, I do better with it because I suck at recoil control when I'm tracking.

As an avid 357 user I feel as if I can contribute extremely valuable chip damage that my light or heavy can take advantage of. Obviously a scar or ak is better in a beginners hands which is the point you are making.

I'm with you, love the 357. I try to "justify" it over ak or scar by the burst potential you have with it. you're not always gonna be able to magdump someone, but a well placed HS can tank enemy HP pools with a more hit and run playstyle.

i am thinking of switching to medium instead of light but i just cant whenever i play it i always destroyed compared to light where i shred but if i play light with a bad teammate or the rest of the teams are using a meta trio its impossible to win

gold medium here, we have an unconventional mmh with one medium being a support and one medium being the "hunter" with recon sences, we obviously play extremely aggressively. Hunter picks off the lights and runs around in a distance from the group harassing enemy mediums and lights with a 357 or fcar

Running this exact strategy in plat soon to be Diamond now. It’s a valid way to play against MMH double medic. Try the 1887 with it as well, provides additional synergy against lights and heavies. Triple medium is seriously underrated, especially utilizing mines well, glitch mine is often overlooked and can make playing into the comp in this video free.

For medium mains I know this seems obvious but you won't believe how many people don't do this, but TOP OFF THE PEOPLE YOU DEFIB. The amount of times a medium will defib, and then let their revived teammate die again because they didn't top off their hp, Is too high. Be a good medium, be a good friend, top off your friends health when you revive them. Edit: to the people in chat going wild cuz I use the words "top off" Just sayin, this is why y'all bozo's will stay in copper and never be anything

I will saw as a medium, playing with a heavy friend. When we get a light as our 3rd it usually means a loss or hard fought match. Not sure if light is more appealing to newer players or if light does not vibe with med+heavy but the light players are sup bar. Makes you appreciate it when you have one pop off

Light is a pretty hard class, it's appealing because it does a ton of damage and is speedy, but people don't understand that the need to play super safe to light well, considering a stray bullet will one hit you lol.

Claiming that a weapon is too difficult or inconsistent to use is down to personal preference. Medium shotgun and revolver can utilized to the same or greater efficiency as both assault rifles given careful use. I’d argue that both of them give you fair pros and cons against meta compositions.

Heals and rez were "meta" until people figured out how to actually use abilities on other agents.

you're sleeping on the medic shotgun. It's incredible especially if you're playing MMH. Any important engagement comes down to close range. If you take damage from range the other medium can heal you/heavy can shield. There is so much cover in the game that using the medium shotgun is definitely viable.

I understand there will always be a meta but I highly advise people to experiment in this game. So many play styles are viable and the game can really change depending on your build. I disagree that the other weapons don't provide real value. The shotgun is probably my favorite weapon and the magnum is close second place.

Scar isn't worth it imo. 20 bullets just leaves you in too many scenarios where you get jumped whilst reloading. AK 36 bullets is much better

and before you say i’m wrong go to the shooting range and test it the only reason you feel like the scar has faster ttk is bc the scar has way better range and accuracy but as long as you learn the recoil pattern on ak which is literally an S you will kill faster with the ak 10/10 times
