Great video ... appreciate the shout-out ... I was ridin right there in shotgun position ... the car turned out perfect ... I'd leave the mirrors just as they are ... as far as heigth I like em low but for a daily it's works ... if you wake up in the morning and say ..."I coulda had a V8" ... just build another one ... great project ... you and your Dad should be proud ... ever think about doing this for a living? ...

What a beautiful build! I especially love the roof line that you modified, the forward peak and rake instead of the original middle point and then the rear window that you laid down a bit really makes a stunning top end. I also love the transition parts that you made from the Infinity to the 41 which makes the magic happen. The lines of the grill whiskers complement the windshield divide nicely too. Well done Nick and I hope that you Dad has loads of fun with it!

This car is so cool! Wonderful smooth curves and the lime green metallic paint is optimum! One of the best custom cars I’ve ever seen. So tastefully designed and done; many especially these body swaps aren’t!

I am glad I followed this build start to finish because seeing all the cuts and slices required to achieve the look would be impossible to appreciate by just seeing the finished I 51S. An amazing "50s" custom that belies its modern power, handling and luxury.

Excellent work Nick, the perfect combination of old and new, it looks stunning - the subtle custom work and paint are spot on. I will look forward to the next project, its a nice change to see car get built and finished to a high standard instead of rough ill conceived fabrication, piles of bog/bondo, a coat of primer then shoved out the back because it would never get approval to be road registered. Looks great! I like the green. I’ve been watching the build every week. I’m a perfectionist and it’s hard to watch most hot rod builds, but you always make everything look so precise and nice. A true metal artist. It might look cool with a 51 Infinity logo emblem in the middle of the grille.

An absolute pleasure to watch your creative process from start to (almost) finish. I’m hoping we can see the lights and signals in action

Honestly not a fan of the grill but then again you did say you weren't finished with it. I am a big fan of the side window treatment. Overall though ...VERY NICE !

Congrats Nick, excellent result, you guys should enjoy the heck out of this. I think you did a fantastic job with respect to the proportions and made what could be a visually heavy car appear much more athletic. I like the slightly leaned forward suspension stance also. I'm sure you guys are going to do a bit more with it after summer enjoyment on the roads is concluded. The transition along the sides to the more vertical planes of the rear fender fins looks neat. But (and this is my only "but") viewing the rear from the back the visual weight is huge. Perhaps another grey accent line that starts at the side mirrors beginning very thin and gradually widening along the shoulder as it passes the rear glass and follows the valley of the rear fins down and then have both sides bridged with a horizontal stripe that crosses a bit above the exhausts? I don't know maybe I'm wrong but that's what popped into my head. Feel free to ignore the peanut gallery!

I like it. Even the rear brake light everyone seams to be upset about. Only thing i would do for my personal taste i think the old body style might look better with old wheel style like some dog dishes and black rims maybe? Not sayen ones on there are bad by any means, just wondering what old look rims might look like.

great job nick,i'v been building custom cars all my life and to watch builders with the skill that your father and you have is a pleasure,it's not easy to do what you two did with this car as i did a 61 tbird convt over a 96 lincoln mk eight and the engineering involved in making every thing work at times is overwelming,great job but i think the mirrors should be green and a more period correct wheel would probably look a little better.regards

You should build one of these with the SHELBY powertrain!!!! YIKES THAT would be a head turner...............

Looks great and love the lime green color! Your craftsmanship is orders of magnitude better than other similar swaps I’ve seen on YT which are very crude! I’d prefer a more classic taillight design but oh well.

I was hoping to see how the headlights were mounted in the fenders and a few more details on those "off the chain" tail lights were sourced and installed . perhaps in a future video?

Just wondering if you have more you could slip in like how you managed the rear strip lighting. The window finishing would be most enjoyable too, as I am going to rake my A pillars back after seeing how you accomplished this along with the glass center strip delete. The rear window ruber and side glass. What is the wiper mechanism you have used. I have been looking at early Bronco , I have a 12 volt bug on my bench now. It reminds me of yours from the outside. The list of questions is large. Please 🙏 can we have more.
