This was the perfect cozy vlog. I have similar feelings about "Fourth Wing"- I ended up enjoying it but definitely not a 5-star read for me. I also have a hard time DNF-ing books because it feels like giving up!

the relationship you have with your mom is so cute omg! a book rec i can give you is half a soul by olivia atwater, it's a regency era fantasy novel and i think you'd enjoy it. there's also two more books in the series with different main characters for each of them! loved the vlog ❤❤
31 and still have those days with my mom💚 although I love political fantasy, action, and huge dragons (lol), fourth wing's writing style was also very juvenile feeling to me. i did find it a lot of fun and read it fairly quickly, but it's by no means a 5 star for me. so, i understand your grievances lol. but don't feel bad if you need to dnf it! no shame if you're not enjoying something :)
