megan alice i just double checked because i obviously take my baking very seriously. but if anyone is like me, yes i double checked and it is right so you don't need to theehhe
Isn't it amazing how many different desserts you can make with pretty much the same ingredients at just different amounts? I'm always amazed about that !
Just baked this. Used 300g of dark chocolate, 300g of sugar and walnuts instead and it tasted like a DREAM. Crispy on the outside, gooey on the inside. Thank you Jemma!! ❤️
I love her no-nonsense method of getting things done. A lot of cooks/bakers are annoying on RU-vid because they waste my time with their incessant blabber before they even prepare their ingredients but she keeps it short, sweet and funny and then gets straight to the point. Also, her recipes are foolproof and really delicious. And she gives the ingredients in grams instead of annoying cup-measurements like Americans tend to do.
Well, Americans love Jemma's recipes so I guess you'll just have to get over "cup-measurements". We'd love to see conversions to cup measurements. It's not all about you! Americans enjoy baking too.😁
Followed the recipe. I only put nuts inside the cake. Cooked for 25 minutes on 180' C. Checked with a toothpick, when it comes out clean. It was my first time cooking brownie, and this is a foolproof recipe. It was easy...and the cake is really thick and moist... And now, I'll go back in my chocolate coma as well. Love u Jemma xoxo
I made these last night! I wasn't sure about them because they didn't seem like a brownie batter (seemed lighter), but they turned out so good! I've already eaten half of them in 24 hours...
You know that feeling when you want to have that dessert but you don't want to make it your just want to go to the RU-vidrs house and eat what they made!
i made this recipe, everyone ate it when still warm, after 2 hours there was nothing left and i was the queen of the family...thank you so much for this
This recipe is truly delicious and quite simple. I used it to make a birthday cake for my mom last weekend, with whipping cream instead of icing. My husband had 2 pieces and said he wanted another piece last night. This from a man who doesn't like cake! I may have to make another batch this weekend and chop it into brownie bites!
I halved this recipe to fit my 6” tin, used 130g sugar coz my choc chips were 54.5% dark and already pretty sweet. Loved the airy and light yet fudgy texture! My skin crackled alot though when cutting so would probably bake it longer than 25minutes. 27 perhaps? Thank you for the amazing recipe! ❤
Thanks Cupcake Jemma, my brownies came out nicely, delicious, and fudgy. It turn to more delicious after I put it in a fridge . Absolutely recommended xx

I'm new-ish to baking and I'm loving your channel! Dreaming of one of those stand mixers.. but just did this recipe and now just waiting for them to cool! Look amazing so far! Thanks a lot for everything Cupcake Jemma!! X
I have turned and been experimenting your recipes with vegan twists, believe me no one can see the lack of dairy in them ! To my great joy. Gluten free choices too, with potato, coconut, millet flour all good outcomes not stocky or heavy
It is absolutely true! It is the best brownie I have ever tasted. It is so rich and fudgy and delicious, you will never have to try another. And the amazing thing is that everybody can make it...it's easy to make :-P Thank you Jemma! You're great!
Have been watching and incredibly enjoying your videos for 2 months now and today finally got around to bake one of your masterpieces. And... Wow. This brownie is ridiculously delicious. Thank you for all of our effort. You are amazing. Can't wait to visit your bakery.
Hi Jemma, Can you please tell us what size eggs to use please. I only had XL 800gms eggs about 51gms each and I think using 6 made my mix too runny, or is that how the brownies are supposed to be. I would hate to think I have wasted all that butter and chocolate :( thank you :) I love your channel BTW. xx
Jemma : Make sure to scrape the chocolate really well because you don,t want to waste the expensive , lovey mixture. Me: Desperately trying to leave a considerable amount of chocolate to lick it off later :)
Hey Jemma, I've tried this recipe yesterday and the result was GORGEOUS! I promise that this is the best brownie I've ever made! So rich so tender and the fluid texture makes it taste like lava cake!! Love your recipes soooooo much!!! Keep uploading more simple but amazing recipes like this.

I made this chocolate brownie about 7 times and I think it's the best brownie I've ever made in My entire. it's so rich and yummy, and the hazelnuts completes the brownie I love your baking channel very much and I saw all your AMAZING video's
Please...no no no! Brownies??!!! My absolute weakness!!! haha I will have to stop watching your channel if you make brownies because I'll make them and gain 100 pounds!! haha They look amazing. :)))
You are terrific Gemma ! Did you eat all pf those really? How slim you look in the next video 😉 I don’t know if am addicted to your witty talks or the recipes? Anyhow you have quadrupled my baking to the great interested look on my hubby’s face .... big win there ! Thanks 💖
Made this last week and i over cooked a bit not massively but there was no fudgey bit in the middle, which ridculous of me because Jemma told me. Knowing i wasnt going to eat 16 squares of slightly over brownie in a hurry I cut into slabs and froze most of it. AMAZINGLY after freezing the texture when back to fudgey, which is amazing but also bad as im just eating huge slabs of cold chewy brownie. Anyway maybe this a known technique but throw it in the freezer if the same happens to you.
I found that the texture was more of a moist chocolate cake. Maybe I measured some ingredient wrong, hahaha. But it was amazing and quite easy to make. I do have a question though. How would the recipe go if I wanted to reduce the eggs to 5 or 4 but still want to make it 250g of butter and 250g of chocolate? Thank you, Jemma :D
HI jemma. Thanks a bunch for the recipe. My brownies turned out well, even without the peanuts and vanilla ice cream. Keep baking us more sweet treats!
OMG these brownies were to die for! I couldn't stop eating one and one... Thank you for sharing your secrets Jemma! I love your channel! I used a little less butter (and quality choco as you recommended), the result was brilliant! ♡♡♡♡
Thank you Jemma for this easy and super yummy recipe, I baked my first tray of brownies last night, and it tastes so good ! (i reduced sugar down to 250g) I will surely try your other recipes :)
Hahahaha...'chocolate coma'! I can think of far worse states to be in than a choccie coma, lol. This looks abso-bloody-lutely delicious. And I love the addition of the crushed nuts on the base, nice touch. :-)
Hi!!!!!! Really love this recipe 🥰🥰 thank you soooomuch:) thanks for you, my mom and i can enjoy baking and also delicous brownie :) i really wanna show you how we made😆 however, be careful not to catch a cold !! Thx!
Hi Jemma! I have been wanting to try this recipe! Just to check if I can actually reduce the amount of sugar added as I don like it too sweet?? Will it affect the overall brownie texture?? Thanks! :)
I made this today and were simply amazing...trust me I have tried many of those so called "best ever" fudgy Brownies...... but this is ultimate....my go to recipie now on! Thanks is @cupcakejemma💟
