We stayed at the Marriott North Shore when we were on Oahu in March 2023. I booked directly with them and received a box of Hawaiian chocolates when we arrived. The beach is right across the road from the hotel. Shared with all the residential houses right there. Beach was not busy unlike the beaches in Waikiki. Saw the sunrise every morning. Would definitely stay here again if on Oahu. No resort fees but there was a $15/day parking fee, which is a lot less than the hotels in Waikiki.
Hi John-Thank you for the video it was very well done! My hubby and I have 14 year old twins who want to jump off the big rock at Waimea beach for the majority of our trip. Is the Marriott the closest place to stay or would you recommend rentals in the area?
Aloha! Mahalo for watching, actually turtle bay resort is a little bit closer to Waimea bay but not that far apart between both hotels which are the only 2 resorts in North shore, hope that helps :)
Yes! I think O’ahu is great for first timers, this island offers some of the most popular attractions in Hawai’i, for traveling with kids I’d recommend staying at Aulani Disney resort or the Marriott Ko Olina because it has slides and mini waterfalls, if you wish to stay in Waikiki the best water slides are at Sheraton Waikiki or Hilton Hawaiian Village, hope that helps, mahalo for watching! 🤙🏼
