Lvl 89 and I still watch all these types of videos been playing alittle over a year and I still feel like I'm learning a lot about what's worth grinding and what's kinda up to me thanks hartgrave
Legit restarted over because of this video, and already have certain characters taken further through the restart then my old acc. Albeit I quit a month after launch and just returned at the end of February.
This is a good guide. I know we are all shocked with the changes of the nodes, but I feel like this helps new players to reach the new meta quicker than ever before. Keep Digging ❤
Been playing this game for 2 years now. 272/273 toons unlocked (missing cosmic ghost rider at the time of this comment). Over 243 toons maxed stars and been working on minions since they all farmable in the store as a side project. I feel like I am at that point where my resources will now do nothing but just grow. I had about 400k gold last week and now sitting at 15 million. I still have a tons of work to do like building certain CC teams up and working on Hive Mind but i feel like I can finally keep up with the end game players and stay competitive. And I have about 40 G18 lvl 97 toons. All of which will be going to level 100 eventually. Been saving up diamonds for DD7 key toons that I planning to take as well. Back then all of these things were a struggle. Now it not anymore and I feel like i gotten much smarter as a player over the years listening to many great advice. You are one of the content creators that I greatly appreciate it. Top 3 in my book.
An advice would be to farm an actual team and not groups of 5 random S-tier characters put in one basket. For example, if you really want to go for Sinister Six team, you'll have to choose Shocker or Green Goblin even though they suck, since you might not get classic green goblin or Electro or other good characters. Or that you might wanna farm Jane Foster over Venom if you really love the Asgardian team. Putting Classic Green Goblin, Black Cat, Wong, Super Skrull and Venom together won't make a super team.
only one suggestion, during midgame having gamma although it's a year old now, is incredibly useful in war and crucible and I just use my gamma team in raids, I'm at level 87 and have used it in raids ever since I built them which was at around level 75. I would like to add that this also works well because hulk is one of the best starting characters in the game but there is a huge cavoite to this, this team takes a lot of the same Unique's which if you're not familiar with the term is an EXTREMELY rare resource required for each character. they each take gamma particles which isn't too bad because the only other notable characters requiring gamma particles is rescue who is important later on and leader who isn't in the game yet but will be really good. also don't build web warriors!
Just coming back after about 15 months, Deathseed is where I stopped, missed dark beast by 2 shards and was so pissed cause the bugs wouldn’t let me log in for days. This meta has changed so much! Lol I never thought I’d hear anyone say Mysterio/Coulson was important lol. I remember them saying Winter Solider and Cap America was getting reworked so I figured they would be good or atleast better than they was before. Seems like all the horsemen teams aren’t in the meta from what I see, which suck cause I put a lot into them. The farming has gotten 1000x better. I’m still top 100 in arena somehow but I can’t crack past that with the new teams. I’m still using dorm/darkhold minus SWitch. I got them all to G16 blue 4. Deathpool is only one that’s not g16. Got her at level 83 now. Trying to get apoc but idt my Deathseed will do the job because dark beast and nemesis are smaller, only 4red on dbeast and 2 3red on nemesis but just came back 2 weeks ago. Got so many new toons idk what to build tbh.
death seed isn't terrible, it still works in raids and is nice to have, I'm just a few levels higher than you and I think gamma and dark hold still are absolute units in war and crucible, both teams are good, unlimited got good use in crucible especial because gambit got reworked and now he's even better and elevated the team, death seed works in raids and is still good. overall, horsemen are still good, just not within the top tier teams anymore.
Excellent guide for new players - I’m currently at endgame ish with a 73m tcp but I wish I knew some of these helpful tips and strategies when starting out - if I ever make an alt I’ll be following this 100%
must say thank you i wanted to do a new account just to mess around with and see if i want to come back fully as i stop playing before rebirth team was a thing and got a bit burnt out on the game this time i will play more to chill and have a good time
One thing worth noting, Gwenpool's node doesn't unlock until lvl 70. I speak from experience as I'm currently at 67 and was in the middle farming her, and now I can't!
it took me half a year to get kang and then it took me 2 month to get him to 7 red because of incursion campaign. incursion campaign is really important as it allows you to get the best characters in the game and make them better, you can focus on getting a few good characters to high levels to finish the campaign nodes.
Excellent work I really wished that I would’ve known about your videos when I started. Now I’m on level 83 and I’m unable to unlock Black Cat or Classic GG, any of the horsemen or finish DM3.
just kind of use the best stuff you have, if you have them, ghost rider (Robbie Raiz), black cat, and Ms. marvel (hard light), are good characters for arena, also as for defense and offences, you can kind of just use the same team for both as different teams for offense and defense comes later on.
Damn i just started playing because an add that talk about apocalypse and remember playing xmen apocalypse on the game cube looks like is a long way to get him 😊
ugh, so i just created a new account, finished the first hero and villain campaign and now i have spider slayer, mysterio, lizard, vulture, & venom.. plus gambit, thor, hulk & mockingbird lmao is cosmo any good? i have her too, crazy how many characters you get starting a new account right now lol
Hi. New player here. Only downloaded the game 4 days ago. 2 questions. 1, when you say get ‘This character’ do you mean unlock and max? 2, I’m finding I’m level capped and can’t progress till 38 what can I do?
playing for almost 3 weeks, should I spent my blitz/arena/raid etc. points on these specific characters or on orbs? I feel that for new players orbs is way valuable but I don't know when to shift to buying characters shards on stores nice video btw

So you said teams get rotated out? What does that mean? Like I have invested fully into Pegasus as a new player. You are telling me all my time and resources to that team will just be eliminated? Do they refund you for all the resources you pour into these teams?
What about opening blitz orbs and raid orbs instead of buying ?? it cost 900 to get 18 shards in raid orbs, meanwhile 2800 for 20 shards or 4000+ for 10 (new charachters) and also in blitz 350 to get 10 shards meanwhile 500 for 10 || 500 for 5|| or 975 for 5 depends of the characthers... if i only get mockingbird it costs me 136500 blitz credits for 700 shards , while you can use thoses 136500 credits to get 3900 random shards (3200 more shards than when u only focus mockingbird)
if you still need a lot of shards from stores like blitz and raids use the orbs and only use the credits when you have a 6 star toon such as Mockingbird. However if you don't care about building a war toon like mockingbird keep opening orbs instead because at least you get a gold return back.
I pull Mockingbird all the time from Blitz orbs. Not even target farmed her and I've almost maxed her out very quickly. I usually open Blitz orbs as I'm not targeting a specific toon in that store. Target until 5-6 then open orbs afterwards to gain ad many different character shards as possible
does someone here know how to beat hell and back story 1-3 im kinda new my power is 34k and i have the standard team with cap and thing and such but the doom keeps healing and resisting stuns :(
I was shocked how many good characters they took off early nodes, Captain America is the stand out. I'm slowly making sure I have enough fragments for all the characters on nodes to reach seven stars. I'm not going to rank them up but am ready in case of reworks. Probably not needed but belt & braces at work.
I don't think teams are power crept as bad as they make out, go for some of the teams but know that maybe only one or two of the team will still be good. They said pegasus would be power crept but Kestrel and Ironman (infinity war) are still good as well as Rescue. I'm all ready hearing people say Alpha Flight aren't that great and they just released. I've heard don't make the rebirth team or bifrost. The new team is Illuminati so black bolt, Mister Fantastic and Ironman. So make these too Cabal, Secret Defenders, Out of Time, Sinister Six, X-treme X-men, Masters of Evil, Spider Society and Hive Mind and Undying, oh and Mercs for Money are good too.
