Poisons: The tool doesn't matter actually, everytime you hit the body with your tool you have a 15% chance for a poison gland to drop, regardless if you use a sickel or a skinning knife. I looked that up in the dev kit and confirmed by harvesting 500 scorpion queens with each tool, the yield was all within a 2% margin.
I just want to say thank you for making this video. Yes there may be a few things missing, but with the amount you covered and the detail you used it doesn’t even matter. This video covers a lot, is detailed, is very helpful, and I can see myself using this many times in the future.

This is mine and many others farming bible, and it still holds true for the most part even now after the 3.0 update. Thank you for the effort of putting all of this info in one cohesive video, along with the chapters to allow for skipping around to specific resources in case one forgets. (btw some of us just want to see you make content on things you like, so don’t be afraid to experiment too much)

I almost never farm on Siptah, even on PvE-C. I just mark all of the bases I see on the map and then check their decay timers every few days. Once they fall below 60hrs, I make an appointment to help myself to their stuff.
Honestly, I followed this guide and now I have so many resources that I have absolutely no idea what to do with them. Like, a single iron run set me up for life.
I was struggling with farming in this game, until I learned to spec into a proper farming build lmao, once you get a bearer pack, you just rock that, 4 pieces of encumbrance armor and that's +9 so you only need 41 points to spend into Encumbrance, get your 30 survival and spend the rest as needed, my normal runs are in the 10s of thousands of resources, and tool upgrade kit is the best over durability, much hirer net gain, don't forget a few master repair kits for the pickaxe as they are cheap

I will disagree with one thing and that is using the bearers as your main source to get alchemical base. Just farm gold, I and many others do not have any luck with using the bearer packs as a alchemical base source. The time spent getting that could be spent farming gold. Anyways, awesome video!
For dry wood on exiled lands there is another great spot. The valleys north of the balck galley are packed with it. And an amazing spot to get crafter thralls is the sinners refuge. It has a guaranteed T4 spawn which is shared by all crafters except smiths and armorers. They re also the weakest mob type. But this place could be dangerous in terms of pvp cause there is also brimstone.
honestly. rn the best way is mobs, crimson and black ice. atleast thats what i found works best anyway. the blue skeletons in particular give a shit ton of xp
for gold there are at least 4 gold rocknose spawns in the vulcano, with an obsidian pick u get ~100 goldstone each. 30 survival seems to reduce that a bit so i get to it by gear i can unequip for this
13:26 1st: I only play PvE (love your vids though), so I don't know if this works (or is practical) for PvP. I have found the Black Galleon to be incredibly easy to farm Bearers as the spawn/respawn distance is very short. The Bearer (all NPCs) will respawn when you travel a short distance and you don't have to wait 15m. Activate the Bearer nearest the gorge (NE) Back away, kill it and loot it Run NE along the gorge to the single camping pirate and dead trees Rinse and repeat
Another low-tech way to get oil better than catching and pressing fish (imo) is to press seeds, which you can get a decent amount of when cutting grass.
Can anyone expand on the farm shack concept? I have done some testing, but it still doesn't make absolute sense to me. You reduce travel time initially yes, but later on add a whole lot of extra travel time by making a second trip necessary to loop back, collect it all, and take it back to base. Not to mention that in the second batch, you cannot use the bedroll for travel. A second indirect effect here, is by stashing your resources for periods of time in huts, you are reducing your processing efficiency. Depending on where you build and the space available, especially vertical stories, I find that a properly optimized factory can pump out processed resources faster than a dedicated, 100% optimized farmer can acquire them. For constant necessities like dragon powder and t3 building matts to add layering, I would constantly be thinking about my matts currently sitting in chests back in my farming huts instead of processing in crafting stations. I am also assuming that the guide is exclusively meant for Official. On custom servers with multiple harvest rates, it would mean multiple gathering trips to take it all back due to inventory stack limits even with perk 5 of encumb, backpack and thrall/pack animal, making it even more inefficient. With 2x rates and black blood tools/oils, you'd also need vault shacks instead of chest shacks to handle storage of multiple runs, especially GodsClaw and the Mounds of the Dead iron ridge. I tried the specific method mentioned in the video, I am assuming this one was used as it was a good example of the concept, and so far have found it to lessen my overall efficiency and overall processed matt output by about ~30-35%. I haven't perfected it yet, and I could maybe be missing something?
With best gear from Siptah u can get stats 40/10/40/0/30/50/30 used only elixirs (without warpaint) and u are limited to use weapons with +2 all stats.

Thanks for the guide, i actually didn't know a good portion of locations you showed, or knew they were a viable source of ressources. Any Tips for Eldarium farming? Running from Vault to Vault and getting what feels like very little of the green crystals... is tiring. To delve a single item, i need to clear 2-3 vaults... which take a hefty time as i can't repeat one instantly when im done...
it seems like they changed the guaranteed named thrall spawns. at blacksmith location was just a t1-3 same at tanner location. so possible that there still spawns the named ones i guess, but no more guaranteed. but i play on offical pve server.
Update on gold exiled lands, there’s 3 gold rock noses inside the volcano, afk farm them every 15 minutes with a black blood pick and oil of bounty and you’ll have way more gold than farming obsidian.
@@jackweed4752 Probably a lousy explanation, but basically it's people finding ways to build under the map/ground. They exploit points that have collision bugs and build under those points. That way, their builds/bases can't be raided or reached. This is an old problem on the official servers, and many people stopped playing because of that.
Farming shack: I don't get it. How do you farm and die without losing all your stuff? Are you swooping down later to haul everything to your base? How many horses does that take?
Yeah typically I try to empty the shack before raid hours whenever possible, but you can also make it small enough that it will (likely) not be scouted for a few days. Generally you don't want to leave stuff outside of your base any longer than you need to. It's a bit of a risk, but the increased efficiency pays off over time. I got some more secure and cheap farm shack designs coming in my next build video further down the line.

15:50 I think I just realized you don't use buffs when you are raiding or farming. Makes me wonder if during those many encounters, are the enemy buffed?
32:16 that edge smith or blacksmith in general doesnt spawn anymore ... iv farm him over a week about 20-50 time a day and havent seen him spawn at all....
