My son got me into this game/sport. I started by fixing all his broken guns and then I bought my own and started to play. We played a lot of games together and even got asked to join a team. We made friends and even did several regional MILSIM together, making even more friends along the way. We always had fun together. But as he went on from Jr High to High School to College, we didn't get to play as much. He ended up graduating from Engineering school in 2020 and joined the US Navy. Going through OCS and becoming an Officer on a Ballistic Missile sub. I talked with him just today. He is super busy, always learning new stuff and doing his job. We are super proud of him! One of the last times he was back home we did get to go out to the local field and play. His gun ended up with a bucking problem and so I gave him my P* F2 MK18 build and he loved it! He even ended up shooting me with it! So much fun! I've even taken my daughter out to play a couple times. One was a regular pickup day game and the other was a special, LARP, Western themed airsoft game on the Ft. Guernsey ANG training facility in Wyoming. So strange and fun! Its been a great thing to share and do together with both kids. Though, at this point I'm not sure how many more times we'll get to play together. As they both gets busier with their careers and lives, I'm not getting any younger. I hope we have a few more times out together, I do remember these sort of days like what you showed in this video. I'll never forget what this game has done for me with my kids. It's been great!
I wish I could've done this with my father. You both clearly understand each other, and it's amazing that you're giving him these experiences to remember for years!
I was fortunate enough to take two of my boys to a paintball event. I wish I had a go pro with me instead of cheap cam. It was awesome to have one of my sons next to me, behind a barrier popping off paintballs.
Airsoft has been a father-son sport for me and my dad since I was 15 Ain't no better way to end a game than a walk in the woods with your dad for half an hour to flank the enemy team before decimating all of them.❤
1:00 that was me and and my buddy in tan. Chilling with other players. Because we all had walk so far just to see no one on the first city. Thanks Jet for you and Alfonse coming out the Black Ops. Had a great time playing with you guys on tan team🤘🏻
Your sons one lucky kid to have you as a father my dad thinks it’s wired and doesn’t fully understand it it nice to have supportive parents and it’s good to see that you two have fun
This was a great event and bonding time for me and my dad as well. I am glad that I got to roll with you that day Jet, also your videos inspired me to play airsoft and record my own videos.
I haven't seen a notification from you guys in a long time on my phone, and ofc I see this a week after my dad passes. Cherish what you have for as long as you can.
Love it I can’t to play with my dad again we played together last over 2 years ago before I moved across the country. Keep up the yougins playing that’s how the sport is gonna keep growing.
I've been playing airsoft for 6 years, and in those 6 years my father has always been playing with me. It's one of the best experiences that you can have.
I played airsoft with my dad 9/10 years ago and he enjoyed it more than I did😂 unfortunately he has arthritis in his leg now so he’s less mobile. I hope you can get your dad to go along with you because it’s one of the best things I’ve done with him.
I cannot imagine how strong Jet's papa bear mode is given how great his gameplay is. Genuinley heartwarming hearing Jet check in with le son. very wholesome and it seems like a blast.
I'm glad you and your son had a good time at the field. Black Ops Airsoft is my home field, and I love it. I let you borrow a lipo battery, but I had to leave early. You made sure to ask the staff to return it to me which they did the next time I was there. Thanks again for all you do for airsoft.
That's great. I just started taking my dad to events. He wasn't totally sure about the whole airsoft thing but I was able to get him to come to an all day milsim - just something small - and he loved it.
My son and I both just got into airsoft a few months ago, getting the opportunity to do stuff like this together is so cool. Hopefully we get to this point sometime very soon! Amazing video!
My dad took me to Bristol for one of their early milsims back in the mid 2010's. One of my favorite memories I have with him, your son will never forget this.
The first MSW I went to was with my dad! It was such an experience ! I was definitely a little more excited than he was because he’s more of a, relax on the beach type of guy. But we had a great time
I’m getting old. I watch jet when I was a freshman in high school. That was back in 2012. Now I’m 26 married and kids of my own. Dam we are getting old.
As a guy who has no first experience w my dad because of his work, seeing this bonding experience tugs my heartstrings, i wish my dad would do this with me
Holy shit this made me feel old! I think I peripherally remember him being in a short clip manyyyy years back. Glad to see he’s enjoying the sport too!
teach your friends to make friends on field in the moment, if they lose you and bound up to another group at least they aren’t lost and are still probably having fun :)
Mannnnnnn this is my home field and I wanted to go to this event but I had no one to go with me. I would’ve went just to play with you man! You definitely should come back for frostbite in February it’s one of the most fun events that’s held at black ops and I would 110% recommend it no matter what, and I think all of the other black ops dudes can agree with me when I say this.
Good to see your bonding with your son, keep up the amazing videos and can't wait to see more of yous bonding. Maybe should have a compass tho at some places it mught not work. Glad there was someone to help him out
I wish I had a dad like that … I remember the first time telling him about airsoft and he yelled at me for a solid five minuets and in general my family hates airsoft so shah
Hey jet, I was the guy with the Pkp in the truck "turret", if you want to use the mag dumping in the truck for a fail video go right a head. I laugh about it when I think about it now.
It was so hard for me to bond with my pops mostly because of his age (he was 40 when he had me). His traveling job didn’t help either, but it is what it is. Will definitely take my son to ride horses, go swimming, launch fireworks, and other crap. I just think this is stuff you do with your brothers or brothers from other mothers.
