Jim, In my younger days I did some paddling but nothing like you and Ted. If ypu ever paddle the Fawn River to the Severn River or Hudson Bay. I would be so happy. There used to be some great Speckeled Trout fishing on the Fawn. I would like to see if any are still there? Let know if you ever paddle it Thanks! Sincerely Walt

Awesome video. I love to see a Jim Baird total ranking of size, using all the nicknames you have for their size. Is a Tank bigger or smaller than A Behemoth? Hmmm 🤔 Let’s get some momentum on this concept with likes 👍🏼 and maybe Jim will actually do it 😃, lol. Cmon Jim, hook us up!!! 😆 (pun intended).

@@JimBairdAdventurer thanks Jim, lol. There’s a few more that I’ve heard. Behemoth fits in there somewhere, as well as Eater. So I’ll ask you personally, would you incorporate Slob for a very very big fish? I think it could be fitting. It’s a little derogatory, but it would be reserved for only the toughest, biggest catches. In New York, where im from, when we pull up a big fish from the depths, it can be affectionately called a Slob. Feel free to try it sometime, lol. PS: that fishing video is EPIC. So much drama. I was totally captivated. Love the battles of man vs nature, especially when it had survival undertones. You’re a Legend! Keep having fun.

That was top notch content for real Jim! Gave me an idea... would be super cool seeing you do a 72 hour survival catch and cook. Maybe pack a few spices, some oil, canoe to a remote area and just live off the land. No staples except maybe an onion or two. lol. Bring on a survival catch and cook!!!
@JimBairdAdventurer
@JimBairdAdventurer Год назад
That would be pretty cool, thanks for the suggestion and for tuning in.
@jasonborn867
@jasonborn867 Год назад
@@JimBairdAdventurer The survival catch and cook could be a forced scenario too which might make it more interesting. For example, what if someone were canoeing on a remote river and became stranded. Maybe the canoe is damaged beyond repair so they must wait for help. But help isn't coming because no one was notified, so they must wait for another canoeist to find them... time to survive and live off the land!

I grew up catching trout in the mountains of Colorado. Then we have a fish fry after. I've always loved the adventure and camping. I live in Florida now, so there's a small window to go camping without it being extremely hot and humid out. But when I go, I stay for a week and do a lot of fishing and relaxing. After working my arse off, I enjoy my vacation time.
