Supporting OpenMW would involve rewriting it from scratch, not just the code but the way the meshes and animations work. Beides, I don't think the animated fishing line would be possible at all with OpenMW's current Lua API. I don't make OpenMW mods myself, it would be an entirely new coding framework to learn. But OpenMW modders are free to take any of my mods and make OpenMW versions of them.
