I love that you and Chase work as a team. It’s inspiring to watch you organize, decorate, and share your journey in life. After losing my mom this last year I realized how “things” accumulate. After clearing out all of her things I promised my kids that I would not leave them with a house full of “stuff”. Watching your videos has helped me to start getting my house organized and clean ☺️ At first my husband and kids would ask “who’s coming over” 😂 I guess we only deep cleaned when we used to have guest. I told them no one was expected to come visit but wasn’t it nice for us to enjoy a clean clutter free home?! Thanks for the inspiration!

You can get big nets that are supposed to go over the back of your pickup truck bed and attach that flat to your wall and then slip your inflatables inside the net. That way that they're up off the ground they don't get stepped on or blow away, and when you put them away for the winter, the net just stays flat on the wall and you can set things in front of it or whatever for just the winter. I have a smaller net that attaches to the metal frame legs of my pool...it's just loose enough that I can tuck toys and things into it, they can drip dry and the wind can't get to them.

My husband built me one long wooden shelf that spans one side of my garage. This is where I store all my holiday decor - I have a LOT of decor. For me, I color coded and labeled each plastic bin and stacked them together according to the season. We built it deep enough to hold the boxes, but narrow enough to park the cars. We also utilized our overhead space by installing wire racks around the perimeter of the garage to hold mainly Christmas decor. This was great because it utilized the unused space overhead that can hold a ton of boxes. Like you, we don’t have a basement and our attic is like a sauna - yuck! I love it because I know exactly which boxes to pull each season. But I do love your uniform boxes - like you, I like things that are “pleasing to the eye”! LOL! Love your outcome - it looks phenomenal! ~Linda

This has nothing to do with the video today, but thought I'd share with you so you know how much your videos stick with ppl. I was in neighborhood market off 116th yesterday in owasso. I was picking up a quick meal for my hubby and I for dinner. I grabbed the Ingredients needed and was looking for a side. I walked by and saw the Bob Evan's mashed potatoes! Thought of you and how much you rave about them, so I grabbed them microwaved them and stuck them in a small serving dish. I lost my appetite after cooking so I did not eat. My hubby however, just loved them. He thought I made them and kept saying how great of a job I did on the mashed potatoes! I wanted the credit. But I was honest and told him what they were and how I heard about them! Thanks for sticking in my mind! You not only save me with decor ideas but dinner too! That's a win win!! Love ya girlie! I just organized my garage after 5 years of junk piling up. I used the same shelves( 70.00each) and containers( Costco 8.99). I was able to park my car in my garage for the first time in 5 years…felt so good!!!

When my garage opens I need it to be nice and clean too so if neighbors happen to be out or whatever lol... I am chuckling. Hearing you say “getting shelves shouldn’t make me so happy…” 😊😊. Sometimes, as we mature, it is the easy stuff that makes us so happy. I remember when we bought our first washer and dryer. No more laundry mat! My Mom was over when they were delivered and I told her “I can’t imagine being this excited over an appliance!!” But boy was I! 😂

Omg, I needed this. We have been needing to clean out our garage and boy is it a mess!! Unfort. where we live we can't have sheds so everything has to go in the garage so it is overflowing and in major need of organization. GREAT VIDEO‼️‼️ Timing was great for me … I am slowly getting my flex room put together and our extra bedroom in the back of the house is now my closet and also shelves for overflow and items that are only used occasionally. My way of dealing with round inflatables was to purchase floating shelf brackets. I then put pool noodles over the brackets for safety and to add a little length. When coming home from pool the kids knew what to do... each child had an area of their own with hooks for their beach towels and suit to hang dry, a small shoe bench for their water shoes/flip-flops and for misc items. Worked like a charm. School season just as functional drop zone/launchpad Backpacks, jackets, shoes, etc... Hope this helps. Oh I actually put the floating shelf part up during the school year. On this shelf I had two CLEAR small letter size containers WITH LIDS. One labeled IN, one labeled OUT. They put communications from the school in the containers. The clear let me see if I had anything I needed to look at or sign. I put any communication that needed to go back in the OUT. Took some training but they got the hang of it. This worked great too and they shared ownership of the communication. Bake sale/Field Trip tomorrow type events stopped.

Hi, thanks for this video ... it's always a good idea to have your garage space organized so you can find what you need. I realize we all work with different budgets, so you do what you need to to get the job done within your means. I agree that having the shelves butted together is the better option for stability. The one suggestion I'd make is that once you have the shelves , butted together, and placed where you want them, you could use zip-ties to tie them together and that too will help to stabilize them and keep them from racking as much. For the pool floaties, since you mentioned that your shed is so hot, understandably, what about using like a mesh-net bag, kind of like the ones that gym coaches use to tote around their basketballs and such, or even like a hammock so you don't have to deflate them. Another solution might be to use Bungie Cords; you could stand up your longer flotation mats against the wall and attach the bungies to the wall and use them like a strap to hold them . ... Other than that, great job, and thanks again.

You could put your floaties/tubes , other swim stuff in a deck box. Either put out by the pool or keep in the garage. You can also store outdoor cushions and things in it as well. Love the garage!!

That heavy duty shelving is like the Dewalt shelves I got my hubby last year for Father's Day. Amazon had them for under $50. They get tall and he's 6 ft so he laid it sideways to finish the top shelf and then stood it up.

I have the same shelves but in the yellow/black color but the size down. Those tubs are Amazing and have my garage looking great!! And I love that vacuum cleaner 💚!

We just recently purchased similar black/yellow bins. We used the cricut to make yellow vinyl letters for labels. They stand out, look crisp, and are easy to remove in the future if the contents change.

If it's in the budget, I would recommend the steel ones. Sooo durable and don't bend from the center with time. We have the steel shelving and love them!

Our garage is only a two car garage. We do not have much space for two cars but I will make this happen. I can’t wait to organize everything so I looks nice and neat.

We have those same shelves! I put a couple sets together to make short shelves for under our garage windows. 16 years later I was able to reconfigure them for our current needs.

We just moved and finally have a garage and a basement! We need to organize our garage and we have always used those same shelves, they are lined up in the basement we just need to finish off the garage! We really need a shed for tools though, so that's going on my wishlist!
