@@unadventurer_ because of youtube s... algorythm,.. first they hide this content .. and then they decide to push it... it dont get this whole system... You can even see that most comments are from the last weeks... But his videos are almost a year old.
Maybe not underrated, but unknown. Once people stumble upon this, they certainly WILL appreciate it. The quality of the tutorials is superior. I'll share these wherever I can.
Speaking as someone who has been using Photoshop since version 3.0, I have to say this is one of the cleanest, most versatile, most effective approaches to gold and metal effects I have ever seen. I also appreciate that you don't waste the viewer's time with a bunch of self-aggrandizing personal branding, get straight to the point and keep the tutorializing lean and concise. Very nice work.
DUUUUUUDE. I want to give this a separate like for every single step!!!! I really hope you blow up cause your channel deserves the eyes of every designer on the planet!!! Liked & subscirbed
Holy crap! I have just started getting into Photoshop and I've basically been absorbing every tutorial youtube has to offer, but this channel brings me to my knees. I should thank the algorithm for bringing me to you, but I would much rather thank you for making such amazing content!
As someone who has taught Photoshop at the college and highschool level I have to say your tutorials are AMAZING. Easy to follow, easy to understand, and the finished project looks great!
I have SO much respect for people like you. As student who needs help in design stuff, your videos are a HUGE help to me. Thank you for doing this for free!! More power to you and to your channel!!
Years ago, I paid for this Photoshop seminar and one of the tuts is the gold effect. It wasn't live text and it was actually cartoonish. And here we have Brady delivering us a very realistic gold effect free of charge. Cheers to you. I'm your new subscriber.
20+ yr seasoned PS artist/designer, here... Your tutorials are like video crack & I could watch them all day... BUT I HAVE STUFF TO DO!! Please stop making me shirk my responsibilities to learn cool new things! 😉
I made gold text and logos for the casino industry for over a decade and I never imagined using gradients maps like this to distort/bend the surface reflection. Unique to my knowledge and looks amazing! 👍
Man, I have no idea how your channel has this few subscribers! Your tutorials are consistently the best I have ever seen on their respective subjects and in every single one I learn something new about photoshop - Even though I already worked with it professionally for over 15 years. Keep up the stellar work!
Not using Photoshop, but writing effects in software with a fancy image processing library. Hard to get shiny colored metals right, and then have just enough scratchiness and fingerprinty crud for realism. Just regular ol' shiny metal is easy, but the nuances, and surface effects... you have done a fantastic tutorial applicable to more than just PS!
What an awesome tutorial. This was more informational in 10min of photoshop than whole 3-4 hr classes in my digital media classes of college. New Sub right here!
Wow! I'm using photoshop for about 25 years too, never looked for tutorials, but after watching yours, I can't stop opening new dimensions in my drawings! This is soo cool, and explained very well! I don't think I will sleep in the next couple of weeks! =) Thank you for sharing!
The only reason I subscribed you is, Your efforts for helping us... I find difficulties downloading your Gradient but written all the Properties which helped me! So Salute mam! 🤙✨🔥
I´ve tried this Gold effect with many different fonts and it´s truly amazing. I even begin to kinda like aweful fonts because of their completely new look :D
WOW! beutiful work, thank you for sharing this with us. I love how you scrolling through the different fonts at the end was like the Kanye - 'All Of The Lights' video.
These tuts are next level in utilizing all the newer features along with breathing new life into older features. This channel is surely headed to the million sub club. :)
Man your channel is the best. Did not do a lot in PS lately. Was more focused on Illustrator and co. But a new customer gave me the opportunity to play more in PS. Boy you got me hooked at PS again. Thx! And this here is definitely the BEST tutorial for making anything golden. Topnotch. Love your content
These tutorials are fantastic- well done! What I really like is how you show what different settings are actually doing and how they affect the finished project. I'm no pro, and I'm just doing this for my own entertainment (yeah, I know, nerd deluxe) and I am thoroughly enjoying myself. I'll bet I have the coolest home screens known to man!
i watch all of your tutorials even when im not particularly interested in the technique or the look just because i always learn something new. thank you so much for your work!!!
Insane tutorial! I've been looking for a great metallic tutorial for photoshop and none have gone into depth like this to really explain the document setup + what each effect is doing doing concisely without dragging the tutorial on for an eternity. I've been using photoshop for about 15 years and there are still effects that I have no idea what they do so I don't think to apply them to my work. This changed that:) Thanks for making this and thank you for making it free and accessible on RU-vid! I will be sure to hit all of the right buttons so you get some sort of monetization!
Best gold effect tutorial I’ve seen (and I’ve seen MANY). Thank you for clear instructions and EXPLAINING why these effects work with Ps. Most s just say what to do, but not WHY.
I used this for a filigree design and replacing the linear gradient with a rendered clouds layer and tweaking the contrast made it look amazing. Thanks for this technique!!!
I don't know how to thank you for this masterpiece of a Tutorial! I am enjoying each second of applying this effect and seeing it come to life it feels amazing. Thank you so much!
Merci pour vos excellents tutos ! Dans l'effet biseautage & estampage j'ai ajouté texture avec le motif "gray granit" une échelle de 35% et relief de 3% c'est du plus bel effet
I've been using PSD for a long time and I have to tell you this has been an extremely helpful tutorial. I really enjoyed the pace and the way you go about explaining the whys. Lots of nuggets that I've been able to springboard from. Currently working on a digital gold wheel for a casino game and the instructions have really given me the look I was trying to achieve. Thank a bunch!
If anyone else is sitting there thinking "what is G and D" and "what the heck is option click?" in windows it means SHIFT G and SHIFT D and ALT-click in windows. LOL. Having never owned a mac, I had to look it up. Thanks so very much for this video though! This is mind blowing- I love it!
You earned a subscriber for life. Straightforward, clear instructions. Downloadable files were easy to access. And this effect is super professional. Thank you! Gold star for you.
