I like to do the brain dump in one journal I have at my desk, I carry a pocket journal for random ideas, then I have a long form journal for big events and working things out. And I also have a common place book that is nothing but quotes - I like journals! 😃. You called it perfectly, it needs to be relaxing and something you enjoy doing. Years ago I felt so precious about journals, I felt everything had to be so profound or it didn't deserve to live in my journal, so I barely wrote anything. That is so not the way to be, and when I got over it, journaling became so much more fun and worthwhile. And I agree, don't get a dated journal! It might stress you out. I love this channel and your journals are so beautiful and inspiring!

Great breakdown and showing how you can mix up journal entries. Not only that but making them short and sweet. I was just at Costco and saw the huge Connect 4 game for game night since you mentioned it. They have the No Mercy UNO game out too where you can have someone draw plus 10!
