Thank you so much for showing me how to tell my book I'm 56 years old man I fell at work and I tore both shoulders and in the process of surgery and going to get my license to be either an inspector of run a small business of my own it's very important for me to be able to pass this test I am wondering are we allowed to bring in the Ohm's law sticker and put it in the book for the exam I live in Florida

Just picked up the NEC 2023 and the Mike Holt tabs for 2020 still work. The only difference is 725. 725 is now 724. If you use the EZ Tabs there are 2 changes. 311 is now 315 and 490 is now 495.

Just wondering why you don’t put the tab on the page before the subject, so when you reach for it, it opens the following page?

Excellent question! You are welcome to set it up that way depends on how you open your tabs some people pull and jump to the next page some people pull and go to the page that is facing. Several of them would have ended up in other articles or running into other tabs so I kind of had to make the tough decision but you are welcome to put them on the next page over! Whatever works best!

In TN and taking my test this week but can't get tabs in time. I bought tabs at a store but I would have to write out my labels on the tab itself. Does anyone know if this is allowed in the exam? Thanks in advance.

Yes, in Tennessee we've not had one time where they told people to take any written tabs off.

I bought a pack of the Mike Holt's NEC 2020 tabs online for my 2020 code book but the SPDs 242 tab came labelled as: "SPDs 283" instead of "SPDs 242". That through me off for a good minute but I ended up scratching out the 283 and engraving 242 into the laminate on the tab. Has anyone else had this manufacturers issue as well?
