same thing happened to me i was in shock then right after i summoned once(single 11 pity) on weapon and got homa it wqs then i decided i did not choose hu tao hu tao chose me
i lost my 50 50 to dehya but im at 55 pity rn. hopefully can get her before she leaves me for the third time. ive basically had pretty good god tier crimson artifacts (40cv) rotting in my inventory cause i lost my 50/50 twice and didnt have enough pulls the other time. Im on my knees
I just got her and quickly noticed something. Although atk% substats won't hurt her having them (because at the end of the day her dmg still scales off of atk) it is better to have hp% substats if you have a low base atk weapon (like Deathmatch, Dragon's bane or white tassel) since the atk% substats will scale from a really low base atk and the hp ones will scale from a really high base hp. Same goes for the 4p GD set if you play her with Staff of Homa since you might get more DMG than Crimson Witch because of Homa's high base atk.
If you want 3 advices for Hu Tao. Struggling with energy. Use Yanfei c4 as shielder, and build her with tons of Energy Recharge. This makes 2 things 1) Yan C4 makes a shield, perfect for Hu Tao 2) Since she has tons of Energy recharge, you can use her as Battery as well. Additional details. Yan Burst cost 80, but that no longer an issue if you get her Favonius Codex, and if you are lucky by those recent pull, you can get r5.. Hu and Yan share the same artifact set, while some artifact you find worth toss away, they can be handy on Yan. Use Rosaria, and build her with tons of Energy recharge and Crit- rate. Her passive gives you 15% of rosaria current crit rate. With 66% it's ok, doing the math, that's 10% more crit rate for free. And yes, it works on Abyss
EM is best stat , i learn to value it over crit dmg except for the circlet which should be a crit one. Kudos for u to mention dash cancelling which is the best way to max her dmg.
Really appreciate this video. I've had Hu Tao for a long time but never really touched her until yesterday. I understand her concept but kept hearing players say you have to cheese her damage, so I didn't bother. Now I'm curious after seeing Arleccino do similar things, and wondered if Hutao is worth the investment.
I won two 50 50s in a row with both Neuvilette and HuTao :) Both took till soft pity but I take that over 50 50 losses :D Now I will grind as much as I can to maybe get one of the two signatures until the banner ends :) Since I am not interested in Writhesly?, Venti and Furina this seems like a realy good option for me :)
So apperantly if you have have Hu Tao , furina , yelan , and Bennett you are fucking invincible . I just beat the lvl 36 geovishap with level 20 characters, 18 ar . I just sat there and tanked the shots for 10 minutes straight . At the end my characters were full health …
I'm surprised no one thinks to run Mona in place of Xinqui on this team. I personally see her as potentially a better choice IF YOU ARE ALSO USING YELAN. Although Xinqui's healing can be seen as a plus, it can also be a burden. Hu Tao's skill takes 30% of her HP each time you activate it. Which means you basically only need to use this skill twice at max hp to get her below the 50% hp which is where you want to be for her passive and/or Homa if you own it. Although Xinqui's heals aren't a lot, it's more than enough to put her back over 50% HP which means you'd have to use her skill multiple times or just let enemies freely hit you which is very inefficient and can even be dangerous. It's worst if you're using a powerful shielder like Zhongli. Mona doesn't present this problem and has other benefits. For one, her abilities can also provide off field hydro but in a wide AOE. Which makes it easier to set up constant vapes on multiple enemies with Hu Tao. In addition to that, Mona's Omen makes any character deal more damage to an enemy which means Hu Tao and Yelan will be dealing much more damage. This gets even better at C1 and C4. Mona can also be built to deal some off field damage. So just to summarize, while Xinqui's healing and insane hydro damage is appreciated, his hydro application is an overkill and his healing can have a negative effect on Hu Tao's damage especially if you opt to use her ult at some point. Not to mention that having Zhongli is the only defense you need. In the case of Mona, she produces just enough consistent AOE Hydro, will make enemies take more damage from her entire team and can be built to deal damage. Note: This is only if you are using Yelan.
u forgot to mention how c6 thoma buffs NA, CA and PA dmg so not only is he shielding and dealing extra dmg he alos buffs her main dmg source CA also he can give more EM which is good with hu tao(with kitain cross spear tho)
I run hu Tao, Bennet, Xingqui and kazuha. Rotation: Bennet: E Kazuha: E + Q Xingqui: E + Q Bennet: Q Hu Tao: E + Q Genshin noob: Alt + Z to record big number Bennet noblisse set Xingqui emblem set Hu Tao crimson set Kazuha viridescent set F2P can run sucrose with the 3* book for extra 50% ish damage (actually better for one hits) but the rotation changes to select hu Tao after sucrose E + Q to apply the buff to hu Tao before switching to Xingqui Hu Tao also uses dragons bane
My team for hu tao is hu tao, yelan, Bennett, and Kazuha but I might remove Bennett for xingqui. Do you know what are the best stats for him? Like how much em and how much er
Gacha god is funny. I tried pulling for her. It took 80 wishes. Went for more Xingqiu constellations on neuvi's banner got him in 20 pulls. Then decide to go for homa even tho weapon banner is kinda of a trap. Got R2 of neuvi's signature in 15 wishes. No homa. I just hope I can get the guaranteed homa until the end of her banner.
Yes sadly which is why I dont use Thoma with HuTao much better to use other Shielder from Geo(Noelle/ZhongLi since their shield wont deal elemental damage every other sec like Thoma/Layla + 150 damage absorption from all elements unlike other elemental shielder like Diona/Kirara which is only good vs their own element)
0% chance. It used to have problems when using Yelan and Thoma together, but It seems they fixed this problem. You can use Xingqiu with Thoma all the way and rest easy, I guarantee it will work. Hu Tao/Xingqiu/Thoma/Kazuha was my previous team, I just swapped Xingqiu for Yelan, since she's a better support.
If you dont have c6 hu then go for c6 barbara, she revives anyone that dies and she doesen't need to be in your team for it. But when your hu gets revived she doesen't get those buffs.
If you have klee or want klee FARM CRIMSON!!! Lavawalker is great on klee since she prefers a mono pyro team. There are enough people who want gilded and deepwood that you can't really afford to give hu tao gilded
I was rerolling accounts fot a Hu Tao alt. And now I have an account that gets a 4 star every 2-5 wishes (I did 50 wishes and thats the trend I am seeing) and I got c1 hutao
Thanks to Staff of Homa and a bunch of amazing abyss buffs in floor 9, Hu Tao is the only character i have that has done 100k damage on her burst, and her burst is only level 4, my Raiden's highest damage with similar abyss buff (40% burst damage) hit 99k, and her burst is level 8, oh and Hu Tao's burst hit an enemy with a hydro shield with no active supports and Raiden did 99k with a full Rational rotation against an unshielded enemy
On the stamina at C0 problem, ive found that jump cancelling gives her just enough stamina to finish her skill duration, but she wont be at full stamina when her skill refreshes, so if you use her burst when her skill cooldown is at 7 seconds it gives her just enough time to regen all lf her stamina for the next time she uses her skill
It's ridiculous that she's one of the rare 5star who doesn't have a personal set. Crimson witch is fine but it doesn't proc three stacks, because it was meant for diluc. Shimenwawa is better for charged, but she also needs energy and technically she deals a ton of DMG with burst too. So nothing more to say, three years and no set. Well done hoyo
I have primordial jade winged-spear for a substitute for staff of homa. And i all i want is c1 hu and her staff but i have 2 more days to do so so yea.😢
man what should i do i got dragon's bane r1 and white tassel r3 then i got 54 crit rate and 190 crit dmg 2pc crimson if i switch to dragon's bane i got no crit rate like 30+
Tbh I'm thinking of going for a Burgeon team with Hu Tao with either Nahida or Baizhu. Would this be a good team with the other teammates being double hydro?
it’s very decent if you need the cr, however she doesn’t lose/gain hp as fast as some others, so a healer may be more valuable than a shield in teams with her if you choose to run that set
Last rerun a lot of videos say 100 EM is enough and after that either HP or Crit is the focus, now EM is being prioritized. What changed? I've been out of the game for some time now Another thing if I remember about 38-39k hp is enough for hu tao to reach max buff from her E right?
1. The change was that players got better at math. 2. Yes, but you're better off building other stats. To max it out without rolling sub-optimal artifacts, if would take a combination of Staff of Homa R5, and Yelan C4
100 EM is enough when you have more stats to look after. As a C6 Hu Tao, I run 300+ crit damage and 280 EM. Her E cap is dependant on the weapon she uses; with Staff of Homa, her cap is exactly 40k HP. After that, HP% is weaker than Atk% (5% HP giving 26 atk with R5 Homa, and 5% Atk giving 35 or 34 atk). For Hu Tao, you'd usually want 30k+ HP; 65+ crit rate; 200+ crit damage; 100+ EM.
@@-.jordan.- 80 crit rate means that every 5 pog charged atks that hit like a truck one of them is gonna be a meme there's not a enough crit rate role just use optimizer
