(They really just have to improve the scopes because wtf is that sight but the rest is FIRE)

Not sure what looks arcade? If you read the steam description it sounds more sim than what we have now. Don't get me wrong, I'm highly skeptical about this game but in my opinion the trailer looked pretty decent considering 5 people are working on it. Things like dynamic need zones, animal interactions and how weather and surroundings will effect the hunt are very intriguing. Also apparently you'll see size differences amongst species, so bigger bucks will actually look physically bigger. If they van pull this off (which the other devs can't) it will be something. That's a big if though! Great vid Ron as always

I have never in my entire life been so disappointed with a game trailer ever the animations, terrain and how plastic everything feels… still have hope it will get better!

We need more information. I also think it is more an arcade game. If it is an good arcade hunting game it has a good chance to address the target group. Good luck to the team behind the game!

Honestly i am excited to try this one out. Love the cotw and way of the hunter but this one looks unique its own way!

Looks cool, I miss the old Cabela's arcady games and this kinda has that same appeal from what we can see so far. However, I would love an immersive hunting game, with role playing elements to it, for example harvesting the animal and taking it back to camp etc, it would give cool possible predator encounters too. It's not very immersive when current games allow us to harvest 10 or so animals and no predators are ever attracted. I'd also like radiant quests to search for specific animals.

I hope you can get your eye right on the scope? Apart from that it looks great 👍

Well my hype for this game is a bit renewed! For those wondering the devs said the scope view in the trailer is apparently showing 'quickscope' and there is also fullscope aiming mode. This relieved me because that part of the trailer had me a bit weirded-out/concerned. Lots of great aspects and considering they are still likely a year from release for me (PS5) I'm sure a lot will get ironed out between then and now. When the game first announced they requested feedback from people asking what we'd like to see in a hunting game that isn't already out there. I though this was just a marketing ploy to get the community active, engaged and excited.. from the trailer I was pleasantly surprised that they seem to have actually taken so many of the suggestions seriously! Needless to say I am definitely going to be following the progress of this game up to release excitedly AND with cautious optimism! :)

Looks cool. Love the suppressor and bait pile additions. Plenty of time still for them to fix things. Definitely hope scope view on final game isn't how its depecticted on teaser.

The equipment looks great, as well as some of the animals, but the animations and environment look really artificial for the most part, essentially an upgraded Hunting Simulator 2 vibe. I am actually pretty surprised because Unreal 5 can have some almost photorealistic imagery, but not here. Hopefully things get turned around before release.

I think the trailer over packs the number and types of animals just to show the variety of wildlife on the maps so the graphics are served better than populations also I have been following progress since the first announcement and I'm pleased with progress but like everyone else I wish it were available now

In regards to the arcady feeling, I think it might be due to the artstyle as well as some of the GiM placeholder models (which are all going to be replaced with in-house models if the game does well). I've seen much of this game in development two years ago and even then it was probably one of the most realistic hunting sims I have seen, even in its barely playable state.

Way of the Hunter gave us a more realistic graphic than Cotw, and this game seemingly will give it as well. And every hunter have read about those old elephant hunting stories, about those famous hunters, and we all wanna go back in time a little bit, when elephant hunting was a proper job, waaaay before motorized vehicles. Walking safaris and lots of dangerous wild game like hipos, rhinos, leopards, etc. And games should bring back those times. That's why I'm happy now, at least I can hunt for virtual tigers and snow leopards. 😁 Maybe the devs of Cotw started to see these things too, that you were talking about, and they've put endangered animals to the game too. Maybe in the close future they will make the elephants and rhinos too...

Definitly more of an 'arcade' feel - more CotW than WotH - but that's no bad thing! Love the customisation options.

yeah it's arcade... the baboon looks unnaturally big and the windy bushes around him a bit disturbing. Hope it won't be too arcady... I saw a Cabelish elephant and bear attacking in a bad way for realistic hunting games... Interesting we all pointed out the same point, the scoping animation. You can't hunt by using a scope in such a way

the hunter is more good with nature but the zoon like really real equal cod ghost

I've been looking forward to this for years now. But I think the game will end up like hunting simulator. Hopefully I'm wrong, the devs have been listening to what the community wants

Everything look very well except player and npc animations.I don't want to know the release date.I will wait until it is perfect quality.

My one gripe is southern africa doesnt look like this...Im happy for the species list, but the Africa map looks like a bad version of the lion king in terms of setting. We have grass over here...and tons and tons of grass, and Flat top acacias are not as common as stereotypical east africa. So far, Way of the Hunter has the most Authentic African map and even they dont have enough grass in certain areas...for trees we should be seeing combretums, buffalo thorn and the like...and did I mention grass? WE NEED GRASS!!!

I'll be honest I wasn't a fan of the trailer. Some things make me really really worried in particular. The first thing is the fact that the bear and elephant attack exactly the same way coming out of the bushes. Makes me think that this is some rng phone game like nonsense where there is an x% chance that an animal attack will spawn out of bushes and it's exactly the same every time. The other thing that worries me is how there seems to be a path outlined in most of this footage, makes me think that we will not be able to just walk around freely everywhere the way we can in CotW. Wouldn't be surprised if the sides in most of this footage are invisible walls. Both of these issues would absolutely kill this game on arrival for me.

This game has already lost so much of ita hype from taking ao long and then devs going ailent. Sad thing is devs confirmed they plan for a 2025-2026 release on PC and sometime after for console's. So by that time most wveryone will have forgotten about it like moat already have.

The comments on the IGN channel video, is full of Karens and snowflakes. People are always unhappy. I wanna shoot big animals! This game sucks! Now, it's: This is a poaching simulator! I'm boycotting this game! I also love elephants and rhino and want to protect the endangered wildlife. I absolutely hate poachers, but I understand that this is just a game. Culling exists and is necessary to keep the system balanced. If you don't ike this, just go play Fartnight.
