Hi! You'd have to manually connect your Instagram account to your Ads Manager. You'd also need to confirm that your IG account is connected to Meta Business Suite. Here is some more information: facebook.com/business/help/1125825714110549?id=420299598837059@@Nyeres_foods
Hi We are an English language school down in Brazil, and as far as teaching is concerned you are a great one. We became a totally online school after the pandemics and it has been difficult to have results with online advertising. This is the only aspect faulty in our business. We decided to do it ourselves and follow you. We have an exclusive and efective Storytelling method and about 20 years of experience. But our students come from word of mouth and now we must find results online. We will follow your course and keep you posted. Keep up the good work! Thank you!
Hey! Thanks so much for the kind words! Definitely understand the difficulties with ads, they can be a lot but once you have that knowledge, you're all set. Let us know if you ever have any questions - and thank you for watching! - C
This is seriously one of the best tutorials I have ever watched. I clicked on a video before this and it was NOT accurate and started going into what products to sell when I just wanted beginner ad tutorial, I love that her videos are what they SAY they are. At the 20:35 time stamp this whole section was SOOO Helpful!! I have Adhd and it can be so tough for me to handle executive functions and I love how she used her video (so personable) and the screen share visual to actually see what was happening, this helped me learn. I took notes as she spoke, and paused along the way. Sometimes I am so overwhelmed with starting but she made it so simple, and calming. WOW may God bless you and your business!!!
That's so kind, Alaji! So happy to hear this, that's exactly what we're aiming for with all of our videos - simple, easy to understand and immediately actionable. This made our day, thank you so much for watching! - C
This was amazing! A very sincere thank you! I am an old school marketer, Facebook or IG didn't exist when I graduated from college. However, here we are today..and I haven't created an ad since 2017. So thank you for this! I felt VERY confident creating my ad today! Grazie!
Hi Misti, you're an OG! You'll pick up the ad creation quick, it's a steep learning curve but once you're in, you'll be fine. Thanks so much for watching and good luck with the ads! - C
I'm starting to run ads for clients and this video really helped me rethink how i used to do ads (back in the day lol). Meta Ads has def become more advanced and I love it! Thanks for the video :)
I need ALL of the videos you mentioned! Especially the pixel one! And thank you! This was an amazingly easy video to follow! Absolutely no mumbo jumbo!
Hey Silkeya, just dropped a video on the Meta Pixel as promised. :) You can watch it here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-rtcJTpCG4ro.html and let me know if you have any questions! - T
Please create the video's you mentioned! This has been the best RU-vid tutorial EVER. If you can't though would love to hear more about audiences! please please
What happens if you select use existing post? Would it delete the original and repost it as a new post deleted all the likes and comments received already? Or would it keep it the same way and use it as a repost?
Thank you so much for this!!! I have a question: Do you have any tips for creating ads from existing Instagram videos? Specifically, I was interested in using a reel that performed well but I just realized it contains copyrighted music. Could you explain how to avoid issues with copyright when creating a reel that I might later turn into an ad?
Hi Barbara! So welcome. Yes indeed - since you've used copywritten music on the post you want to boost, you'd need to create an ad from scratch. Tiffany did a tutorial on that here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-z3yG9bBtf1I.html - C
I so badly need a video on how much money to spend! I work w a nonprofit and we have a large budget for this but I don't know at what point I'm wasting money vs spending wisely??
Thank you for sharing this information. My first ad is scheduled to post tomorrow. I'm looking forward to seeing what it brings. I would love a video with information on how to determine whether ads are working. If you've already created one, please let me know where I can locate it. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
Thank you so much for the detailed information about the ads. I was working on boost post before watching your video, but now i will run ads through meta ads manager by following your steps and i hope to get best possible results through your information. Thanks again. ❤ from
This has been helpful. My brother and I just start a small crafting business and have decide to run ads on social media. Both of us are clueless, but this breakdown of getting started give me a bit more confidence to get started.
Hi! Loved the video, I'm just learning how to run instagram and facebook ads and this helped so much. This may be a weird question, but when we run ads on instagram does it appear on our profile feed?
Hi Stephanie, thanks for the kind words, so happy to hear! It's actually a great question as there are two types of ads - boosts (which is a paid push of an existing post on your feed) or what we'd call "ghost" ads (which is when you create a new new assets in Ads Manager that doesn't live on your feed, just as an ad) - C
It’s like you were reading my mind! I am currently going through this process right now. Thank you for this so useful! Question- would you add make up as an interest? Or would that then show the ad to everyone interested in make up? I would love if you did a part 2 for the audiences 😊
Love it!! So happy this came at the right time. Make up is a bit broad so I would narrow down on some brands that may align better with your audience (e.g. fenty beauty) and if that's not a fit i would make sure to narrow down on the type of individual (e.g. interested in makeup but must also like "x"). Hopefully that helps! And definitely will look into an audiences-specific video! ☺ - T
Thank you very creating this tutorial! It was very helpful in getting started with Ad Creation! It would be fantastic if you posted videos for the other topics that you mentioned in your video, please forgive me if I am asking for this, and you have already created them. I see that this video was posted ten months ago, but I just found your channel today.
Hi! You're so welcome. Here is a playlist of all of our Ads videos: ru-vid.com/group/PLr0cAjaVapOPPJeJHqcmbtrWG4bx9Im5h. Was there something specific you were looking for? - C
Thank you, 🎉for this information, it's very informative. I been trying to run Instagram ads for months now but... You are the only person that can break things down in details. This helped me launch my first Instagram ad again! Thank you! Ps! Can do a video on how to know if your ads are effective?
I used the boost button & my ads getting stuck in review pending...I can't tel if they ran or not super frustrating. I will be trying your technique! please do video about the different love! xoxo
Thanks for sharing High Season Co. Question: What is a good age group in your opinion for selling a salon grade keratin treatment to professional hair stylist product?
So welcome. So that would be something you'd need to figure out based on your customer data on your side, by tapping into the information provided by customers to date. If you're unsure, the best bet is to start A/B testing to various age groups, eg 18-25, then 26-32 etc. - C
Can you please post a video more in depth about audience and the bottom (or top) of the funnel. I always use book now bc I am a Esthetician and I am trying to get clients. Thank you!
Great tutorial!!! If the goal of your ad is to get people to visit your profile and follow you, would you still choose the "On your Ad" option in the Conversion location section??
Thank you! Yes definitely - also check out this video we did re: growing followers with ads: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xWnrcgivH2k.html
Yes, PLEASE talk about why not the Boost button. I've had really good results using the Boost for the past year or so, using similar tactics that you talk about. I choose the ad demographic based on the specific post combined with my business demographic. Would love to hear the difference.
@@okekeblessing6024 you have the option to choose your audience. I have a cooking IG page, so when I post a recipe I can promote it to a particular demographic based on what the recipe is. So for example ... if I post an Italian American recipe I can promote it in locations where the highest amount of Italians live in the United states. Same with if I cook Soul Food recipe, promote it where Southern/Soul Food is popular. Or, I have mostly female followers who like my meatless recipes and lots of male followers like meat heavy recipes, so I can target according to that as well as choosing the age range. So ... location, age and gender, and audience interests are the 4 things you can control with the boost button. I'm not doubting the Facebook ads method which can get more detailed, but it's been really complicated setting that up.
Hi! Quick question. When you launch that ad on instagram, does it add it to your feed/reels tab and once the ad has finished running does it stay on there?
Hey Abigail, great question! The ad is a "ghost" ad essentially, so it won't appear on your profile anywhere, unless you use an *existing post* (under ads manager), which means it's just using the content on your feed for the ad. - T
Love your content, very informative and really helpful. Do you use Facebook business suite for ads? Mine works so slow that I couldnt even upload video only a pict, which didn't bring any result.😢
Great video as usual! I only knew boost and have used a lot. My only issue is that my posts perform well when I boost them. But after i stop the ad, the performance of my posts later don't perform as well as before. Is that normal? Is that fixable? Thank you!
Hi! Thanks so much :) Have you tried Ads Manager in comparison to Boost? Organic posts shouldn't be affected by ads whatsoever, that would just be due to how your organic reach and engagement is currently. Thank you for watching! - C
@@Highseasonco Thank you so much! I've never tried Ads manager because I never knew how to use it until I watched your video! Thanks a lot for always replying questions! Really appreciate you guys :) Have a great day!
You're welcome! Video (reels) is still said to be the leader here, but I would recommend that you test various formats always as your audience may respond differently depending on the ask of the ad (engagement vs traffic/conversions), and then measure the results against each other. - T
I want to advertise small business owners in my area on social media like Facebook and Instagram. but my question is it is possible to advertise for many clients through my computer inside of one Facebook business ad manager. or should I do through their computers.
Hi! You can get your clients to add you as an Advertiser on their accounts so then you can use your own Ads Manager and have access to all of their data/credit cards etc - C
Hi Joy, thanks for the kind words! So this is a huuuuugee question, it's not something we can answer over a comment. We offer consultations so you could book one of those to chat with Tiffany, or we may do some more videos about audiences in future - C
A lot of my high-performing reels use trending music from Instagram, so I can't use those posts in ads. Would you re-edit the video with different audio and upload it to the ad? If so, do you have any suggestions on where to get free or lower cost audio tracks that can be used in ads? Epidemic sound is out of my budget currently.
Hi! Yes that'd definitely be the best move (re-edit the videos with non-copyright audio). You could search through RU-vid for free audio to use, we've always used Epidemic Sound so off the top of my head, I can't think of any other way besides YT non-copyright stuff - C
Hi Marco, yes you'll need a Facebook Business Page to run ads via Meta Ads Manager. You can set up a business page which is owned by your personal page, and then attach the Ads Manager to the business page - C
This was amazing!! Thank you for sharing. Do you have more videos of a/b testing or audience targeting or pixels? basically more advanced videos after running an ad to better optimize it. Thank you!!
❤ Great tips !I really need help with more specific advice in order to decide the Audience .. I can not find within your video library...Maybe I missed it?!Sending love from Portugal 😊🌞🐚❤ @@Highseasonco
This was really amazing, please do all the videos you recommended and also pleaseeeeee do a video for real estate leads generation. I'm definitely subscribing ....thanks again
Hi Alan, a boosted post is a quick way to put money behind a post on your feed if you want to reach more people (but broader in targeting), they are less optimized in terms of the audience and objectives you can set, and usually end up being more expensive for the result. Ads Manager allows you to really drill down on what you want and customize your audience, choose from a wider range of goals, test creatives etc and usually gives you a better result for your spend. Hope that helped! - T
When you use an existing post for instagram it creates an ad but the engagement is NOT reflected on the original post. Thats my experience unless I have been doing something wrong. Meta has no solution however for this issue so its better to just run ads for instagram post metrics in instagram.
Hey, I think you may be missing a step as most certainly the engagements are attached to the post when you use an existing post. Another potential thing that may be happening is the post that you're boosting doesn't qualify for the ad type, eg a carousel doesn't qualify for engagement ads. Hope that helps - C
@@Highseasonco I dont think thats it. I tried all the ad types just to troubleshoot it since the support are very poorly trained and dont know anything. I was on the phone with them for over an hour and it resulted in no solution and they basically told me just try to delete it and keep trying until it works😭. The internet just sucks nowadays and everything is breaking down! Not saying it doesnt work for some people, but from my online research, some people get similar issues and similarly get no useful solutions, and then some people never have this issue. Its just a mystery I suppose🤷🏾♂️ social media is a joke anyways!🤣🤣🤣 Edit: The funniest part is they tell me to contact instagram to see of the issue is on their end. Instagram has never responded to any bug i tried to report for years!🤣😭
This was such a helpful video - thank you for being so thorough. I do not have an Instagram account, and I do not have one for my business. Am I still able to set up and run ads?
Hi Erin, so happy you found the video helpful! You can run Instagram ad placements from your FB account without an IG account, but I would recommend an Instagram presence so that way people can follow / stay up to date with you organically as well if you feel your audience may be there. Hope that helps! - T
Hi, thank you for this awesome video. I have followed everything step by step and I have published my ad. Is there a notification that am supposed to receive after that?
Great i just posted an ad.. i have a question i cant find the answer to anywhere… ads look better on instagram with the view count over the like count.. how do i change from likes to views or change for future reference? Thanks
Hey Temitayo, just dropped a video on the Meta Pixel as promised. :) You can watch it here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-rtcJTpCG4ro.html and let me know if you have any questions! - T
If I want to do engagement on existing instagram reels, should I just use existing post and do a separate ad for each individual video? And if so should I just choose to run the ad for 1 day at $10 so it doesn't get carried away?
That's correct, you can do one ad per post that you'd like to push, and I'd suggest you do it for longer than just 1 day, you likely won't see any results with a budget and time frame that low. - C
@@ConsumerQueen It's a large question. It depends on your objective and the budget available. 24 hours is too short for the software to learn anything about the ad. A week would be much better, you could try $10 a day and see how that goes, and ramp it up from there. - C
Hi, so as far as interests, you'd want to drill down as deep as possible as to the exact customer that typically buys from you. You should have sales and demographics data from customers over the years, so you can use that to determine who your main customer is and then figure out what they're into. Eg for a past client of ours, their key demo was 45-65, and we figured out that they tend to "like" chain restaurants and grocery stores on Facebook. Hope that helps - C
Hey Megan, just dropped a video on the Meta Pixel as promised. :) You can watch it here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-rtcJTpCG4ro.html and let me know if you have any questions! - T
Hi. There are several countries I would like to target for my ads. Is it best to target one country (for example Paris, France for one ad. and target Milan , Italy for a different ad or i can include both countries in one ad?
Hi, you can target both countries with one ad however those two countries speak different languages, so I'd suggest you do unique ones that align with their language and culture. - C
@@Highseasonco hello again, i have followed the steps, and i got to the last page which is to publish and i did that. However the ads didnt run. I kept checking the ig post I sponsored to see if it states pending approval but it didnt state same. Please what could be the reason for this? I have done the process all over again hoping its better this time. Please i need your advice
This may be a dumb question, but if you advertise exclusively on Instagram, how does it know to show the ad to an "engaged" audience, when Instagram profiles do not show those types of metrics?
Hi Kiara - a boosted post is a quick way to put money behind a post on your feed if you want to reach more people (but more broad in targetting), they are less optimized in terms of the audience and objectives you can set, and usually end up being more expensive for the result. Ads manager allows you to really drill down on what you want and customize your audience, choose from a wider range of goals, test creatives etc and usually give you a better result for your spend. Hope that helped! - T
Hi Shazia, do you mean that you don't see the traffic objective when you're using the conversion objective? If that's the case, that's correct because they both serve the same purpose, which is driving to a website (for example). - C
