Levi's is definitely the best. I bought three of their sherpas but I am returning the vintage fit because it is too baggy. I am also returning one of the sherpa IIIs because it is a little too big too. I'm keeping one of the sherpa IIIs because it fits the way that I want. I realized that you have to try them out in person instead ordering online because each one of them fits differently so you cannot order the same size with each model and expect it to fit. But its worth the trouble since they are so cheap with such great build quality.
Yeah I'm not a big fan of the vintage fit either. And yeah I've noticed they do fit differently. Some have wider cuff openings, longer sleeves, some more fitted some more relaxed... btw I appreciate your comments man good to see you continue to comment! Look forward to see you around man! @@stylewithaltitude I picked the dark wash and returned the other two today. But I'm going to order two more Sherpa IIIs in the medium wash and the light wash. The thing is the dark wash fits me in size small but the others are too big in size small so I'm going to order extra small online and hope that works. I get the sleeves tailored on every single one of my jackets because they are always too long for me even if the jacket fits just right.
Yeah man it's a hit or a miss with them... but well done man. A dark, medium and light wash is a great way to go. I actually recently purchased a black one as well to dress up the outfit more.
@@stylewithaltitude I ended up getting 4 of them. They are either too big or too small so I don't like the sizing. And there is a little too much fabric in the front and not enough fabric in the back. My preference with stylish jackets is to size down and have it fit snug and trim. If it gets cold enough, then I can wear my wool peacoat or one of my puffer jackets.
As a owner of 15 Sherpa Lined Trucker Jackets made between the 60's and 80's I have to laugh at the cheapness of the new jackets, bought one and threw it away 1 week later.
@@stylewithaltitude hey man, I’m rocking the Sherpa rockridge, but you know how it is, both the dark and bright washes are great. And I got a moonlight dark wash normal type 3 trucker and a gray type 3 in normal no Jean denim. It’s like a sweater but type 3 style. It does not feel like a denim jacket but I like it, rare to find like most Levi’s stuff here. Dude I went on the Levi us .com store and compared it with the krauts German store. It’s such a shame, you guys live in Levis heaven. So much styles available and washes. Man oh man. And cheaper. Can’t even imagine what you usually find at Ross dress for less or Tjs witch isn’t around here too. Only TKs what’s like Tjs. Yea.. and import isn’t really a good thing to try, most stores don’t even ship worldwide. So I got to buy from Sweden or Uk maybe, but risky. And the normal searches around the area. Online. Yea the overall length is a bit short. Like it sits right above my jeans and my shirts always stick out a good 3 inches and I don’t like that look. I’m 5’10 slim build. But I’ve noticed that depending on where you buy the Levi’s jacket, the fit is different. Maybe it’s just in my head lol
@@BustahNutt A denim jacket should sit around the hip. But yeah sizes can vary you're not tripping lol. I've noticed they can vary for sure like in sleeve length...
It's definitely a high quality jacket and is well made. Since the category on quality consisted also on the fabric, I felt like I couldn't give it a perfect score using polyester to make a little extra profit margin, since they have used cotton before in the past. Also it is extremely versatile and easy to style and goes with just about everything but not quite as versatile as the Levi's Denim jacket to be able to dress it up as much in my opinion, to give it a perfect score. Its definitely an awesome jacket and a definite must have to Rock and is worth the dough! 🤘
Well I only own one Levi's shirpa jacket. It's in dark blue because I enjoy the fading process as time goes on. It's been decades sense I've owned one by the way. Last one I had was the standard Levi's jacket with a blanket lining, back in the 80's. I don't believe they make those anymore. I have a very well rounded leather jacket collection in cow, goat and horse hides that I rotate. The Shirpa is now in that rotation.....
@@kenamaro3942 I have a dark wash Levi's sherpa jacket as well. I dont really wear it as much as the light wash sherpa. I agree though I bought it to watch it fade! Nice jacket collection man! What's the next colot Levi's sherpa you would get? I grabbed one in black with a gray collar.
