60 cards is what you have in a normal deck. You can have up to 4 copies of any non-land card in your deck. You draw one card a turn. Land is what you use to play cards. Stuff untaps at the beginning of your turn. Instants can be played at almost any time and Sorceries can only be played when it is your turn. Both players start with 20 life and the game ends (usually....) when a player hits 0 life. Other than that, it is basically just reading the cards to see what they do and knowing the turn progression order (when you can attack, when you untap, etc.).There is high-level things like not playing lands until the end of your turn later in the game to fake your opponent out and such, but those are the basics.

These boxes are heckin' strange. Mine had seven mythics, two foil rares, and ten Lava Spikes. My top mythic was Goyf, which as an EDH player was the last one I wanted to see. Teeg as the box topper and when I added up the easily salable value, it was about $400. These boxes are pretty cool, wish I could keep opening them and I know that feeling will stick with anyone who has had the chance to do it.
Last pack of box 1 being a Reya Dawnbringer followed by a Dawn Charm was so aesthetically satisfying. Also, all those Eternal Witnesses add up, they're sitting at $4 a piece right now.
my first box was a foil lily and second box was a foil goyf with a foil phyrexian altar with box toppers cavern of souls and through the breach... this set is really fun to open... one of my customers also hit a foil lily with this box topper being a through the breach.... it was kinda nice to know its not actually box mapped and i seen that e.e. box topper with your lily.

If you look at the second box after he paused completing the first one, you can see that the second box is not the same as when he first took it out of the cardboard box where both sat. The Wizard stamping is not in the same place. This guy has scam written all over. Feel bad for his patreons.
My boyfriends box ev was 550. He had topper goyf, foil bitterblossom, snappy, liliana, ulamog, noble, foil mealstrom pulse, through the breach, celestial colonnade, and a lot of other great rares. Hopefully my box is at least half as good as his was.
There seems to be a lot of variation in the foil rares and foil mythics in these boxes. My first box had foil Dark Depths and foil Gaddock Teeg with a box topper Creeping Tar Pit, second box had no foil rare or mythic in it but the box topper was Liliana of the Veil so hard to complain.
I like that Rudy took the time to admire the art of ANGELIC RENEWAL... there is more to this game than just the VALUE of cards. We loose some of the MAGIC when it just comes down to card prices!!
I opened 4 boxes and the most valuable cards I got were 2 noble hierarch 2 cavern of souls 1 tarmogoyf 1 snapcaster 1 karn 1 foil leovold and some other good Rares and mythics My toppers were through the breach , celestial colonnade, vengevine and a disappointment kitchen finks
my box was bonkers - mana crypt (full art and normal), Karakas, Noble Hierarch, Celestial Collonade, foil balefire dragon, keeps going. It's awesome stuff.

I hate this!! My house burned down apr 1st yes apr 1st and I lost everything including complete sets x4 evercard time spiral to eldritch moon. Freaking insurence gave me 2500$ to replace my magic cards. So I bought 2 cases of ultimate masters and opened 2 more since so 10 boxes. I pulled 0ulamogs, 0 karns, 0 snapcaster mages, 1 goyf, and 2 liliana out of 10 boxes. I freaking HATE LIFE. I give. Up. God hates me. I really thought I could make a dent to replace my old collection, I was so wrong
It is also clear that Rares have their own tiers, most people are getting the worst rare lands then the good rare lands, It should be equal so you dont get more shitty rares than good rares.
I dont understand how liliana can be so much money, every online card shop and local card shops have TONS of them. Like upwards of 40-50 of them. They are everywhere so why are they still so expensive.
I opened 2 boxes and I got 2 god boxes. I sold 27 cards to my LGS for $780 store credit. I got every high end rare and mythic and my foils were solid. Didn’t hurt that my one box topper was Snapcaster and Goryo
@@kaibaCorpHQ No problem, those foil today are often hard to spot. Vintage foils looked much better (one of the reasons why for example a complete set of 7th edition in foil costs over 6000$, while a non foil version costs less then 300. Compare that to the premium foils catch today, usually less then 100%)

I opened one box so far... 3 mythics (Mikaeus, Sigarda, BalefireDragon) 1 foil rare (Bridge from Below) I Fell like they fkd me hard-,- Box topper was Demonic Tutor... After all the Box was around 270€ if id sell it all at lowest price on cardmarket.com right now... only counting cards over 1€ ofc... Guess it will be a nice profit when prices go up again...
Tasigur box topper honestly isn't that bad I don't think. It's a card with a lot of demand compared to some of the other lower value box toppers. I could see it creeping up faster than some of the other lower cost cards because of that.
Kinda ironic... But I opened what I can assume is the same pack that you did, first. Went to my local card shop tonight. Bought a single pack. Pulled the same foil, urborg and all the same uncommons.
I think the best argument against people saying that you lie and retape over the sound is the sound that the cards make. Have fun making a fake voice over and also get the card sounds in sync too.
