Needs vehicle's, or attention drawing interactive elements. The time between firefights can feel pretty drawn out. I do agree that it's the best Quest shooter.
With all due respect, you're out of your mind. Who wants it to be a nonstop firefight? There aren't even the supplies on the map for that. If you want it to feel like Fortnite, more power to you. But I hope you don't get your way. Lol.
Can you play this game solo/ with bots in any kind of way yet? I'd be interested in in just to explore the map, but I'm not a fan of multiplayer shooters.
Not really. But the map isn't particularly worth exploring in my opinion. It isn't laid out like a real Island as much as it is layed out as a shooter map. For example, theres a nuclear powerplant, but there are 2 accessible levels in it that you take via a ramp. Theres no furniture other than the tables that loot are occasionally on. If you're expecting a Fortnite level of detail and stuff to the interiors, it just isn't there. Most of the rooms are empty and the loot is just sitting on the floor.
This game is totally addicting! I get no work done for my channel anymore since this came out lol. But I have made around 5-10 great friends who I play with regularly now.
Have it myself and even i (still) suck at it, yet I enjoy. There is only one proper br rn and that's Population One which resembles more fortnite meanwhile Contractors Showdown is more of military (warzone) like shooter. I barely write comments and reviews but for the price this game is awesome.

Nobody without a mic and everyone is nice? Man, you can certainly tell we play at different times of day. I would say at least 20% of the people I've played with, and 50% that I've played against, have been super rude and vulgar. And at least 15%-30% of the people haven't had Mics. Especially in the plane in the split second before everyone moves. I've heard the N word more times in the last month on Showdown than I have in the last year in VR, easy.
@@CcSmokecC A lot of people are mean, the children are racist, and a bunch of people don't have mics' ? Sure. A lot of VR shooters in general are like that, a lot of videogames are like that. But BMF made it sound like Showdown was on the more pleasant side. I'm saying I think it's on the darker side, more akin to Pavlov while it was still free.
It's good but still not as fun as pop one. Especially when you are bad and die a lot. It's painful when you die waiting an eternity for a low chance of being revived.
I think its better than Pop One in almost every way. But yeah, they need to add a "Die Faster" option. Also its annoying to die and then have to spectate for the rest of the game, but I 100% support that.
Hope they introduce a battle pass cuz if its just $20 with no dev incentive to keep updating eventually people will hit max level and get borded with the same map, guns, skins, charms and characters. They need ro follow the AAA examples
Eventually it'll be crossbuy. Right now the devs have said they are having trouble getting the pcvr version on the pcvr meta app. I ended up buying the steam version along with the quest version because I'm impatient.
