Good list, but I can't believe you dared not to list 10 first person shooters. Actually I didn't even know there were any non-first person shooters other than Beat Saber on the system. I sure do enjoy the early days of VR when Oculus basically banned those games since it make like 40% of people motion sick and is by far the easiest and quickest way to kill VR, since very few people will try anything in VR once something makes them sick. But seriously, this is a very good list - and I hadn't even heard of a couple of these and will certainly check them out.
Why does every channel that owes their very existence to the Quest headsets feel it necessary to CONSTANTLY throw shade at the headset's standalone performance?
FYI: Hey Sir, I expanded the section to view, the time codes and when I click on "04:44 - Border Bots VR" it jumps to "04:45 - Arcade Paradise VR", looks like Time Codes are out of order or something, just a heads up
“Lite” consoles are NEVER considered an upgrade.. it’s literally a cheaper version for those that can’t afford the new edition. It’s literally an IPhone SE and I truly don’t know why anyone would assume otherwise.
This looks AWFUL. We all know they're just trying to collect as much 4.99s as they can and then fade. They know it looks crap plus its an insult to quest users. I didn't spend 500 plus on a headset just so I can play ps1 graphics type games. Why are Meta even bothering enhancing their headssts if they're allowing games like this in their stores.smh
Hello. Could you create an agenda to help the VR user community of Meta Quest who has been facing a major problem: the sales policy of the Meta Quest store. Several users (myself included) from various countries, including the USA and UK, report that they do not have access to the store's big monthly promotions. When contacting support, several excuses are presented such as "the promotion is regional, try opening the browser using an anonymous tab..." when in fact the community's conclusion is that there is some type of algorithm that chooses who can participate or not in the events. promotions. Disrespectful and absurd to say the least. Help us spread the word so that Meta changes this policy. Thanks.
Wow. I didn't know this was a thing. That sounds super shady. I've picked up almost all of my games on those monthly sales so far and saved quite a bit. Would be a huge disservice for some to not even have access to it. Though I did notice that there was a price difference between what I am charged and what my wife is charged using her Quest 3. Only a couple dollars usually, but why the difference at all?
the issue i have with this early access after they delayed the game a year is price. This feels like the studio may be running low on funding to finish the game. Its a year past when it was supposed to release its a bit too late for an early access that looks this rough. ive played alot of early access titles and this one has me concerned
Where are the AI voice commands in Meta VR? waiting for new chatGTP voice mode? or llama eat more grass hehe. Why doesn't the browser have a simple translator =/, Where is the swype mode on the virtual keyboard? How difficult is it for Meta to offer a real home where we can personalize and not these limited environments.
I have so many simple ideas that we can improve Meta's experience centuries ago that I'm amazed that it still hasn't implemented simple things, even though it has a huge team taking care of the project.
I'm guessing the Gundam Silver Phantom shown here is just a mixed reality game, because the original teaser trailer for Silver Phantom specifically called it "VR's first full length feature animated film". Unless this is like a small interactive element of the film.
It's odd how they don't allow windows distance adjustment via the joystick forward/back. It's already a feature of other apps and is a bit of a no brainer so I wonder if there is actually a third party patent that is holding them back on this feature.
Wait...what? $4.99? Oh no! So much for depth or story. I was already expecting the quest-level of graphics, but bro...incomplete and early access?? Ugh. ..and dont get me started on that "trailer" they made. That was horrible. No excitement generated whatsoever (and I'm the guy who thinks Japanese anime games will help the VR market: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-VSbC6ry9OXw.htmlsi=2Gj_Oa0m0-VSA4Rj ) . Who's running the marketing at Meta!!!??? Hire me!
I don't understand why they are using Commodore 64 video footage though. and I'm absolutely SICK TO DEATH of developers releasing unfinished games and labelling them 'Early access' Just FINISH the DAMN GAME!!!
I’m going to support by purchasing the early access and maybe a lot of people support it and provide feedback to the devs so they can adjust it and make the corrections needed for that 1.0 update.
If you buy the early access version, will you have to buy the v1.0 upon release? Or will v1.0 end up being free for those who had early access? I don’t suppose I’d mind if it was $14 for the first 2 chapters if it’s a mission based game with no exploration outside of missions. $28 is the most I’d be willing to pay for the first 2 with some exploration outside of missions. Like the same areas available in the console game that’s explorable out of missions, that being the central hub area, the barracks, teaming ground, etc. and maybe have an option to go into the training mission with no timer or objectives so you can just chill with people and take out the fake titans, figuring out the team dynamics.
Hey this game doesn’t look as good as other aot vr games but most popular games sucked when they released so maybe this one is like them only god knows
