I'm actually not 100% sure, but I would most certainly assume it would have to be the MHD adapter. Click the link in the description to see more information about it!
I want to add an additional detail which isnt very clear on MHD website - you need to purchase a FLASH LICENSE AND MAPS PACK, to go above stock flash. If you want Stage 1 and above, you need to purchase the $311 Flasher License AND the $122 Maps Pack for N55. These are seperate products. To reach Stage 1 you need to pay out $435+. I was not aware that the Flasher license includes Zero stages above stock. Now I have the Maps pack and everything works fine.
Yes, this is true! I have the super license, which gives me access to all maps, tunes, options, and features. Not all licenses are the same! Thanks for pointing that out.
I think it took me exactly 7 minutes my first time. That's how long it takes for most people, I've heard. Same with my friends with N55s; more or less around 7 minutes the first time.
I can't say for sure, but as I've heard you don't need a tune, but you won't get the most out of your modifications without one. You'll also likely have a check engine light from the downpipe (assuming you go catless or similar). The best thing to do would be to get a tune, so you can take advantage of your mods and get the most power out of them, and remove any lights or codes your car may throw due to your mods.
Depends on what you want and have. You could buy individual stages, or, like I have, you could get the super license, with every stage, every option, and every feature. Granted, it is the most expensive, but you get what you pay for. Every single feature and option, and you can fine-tune it to your car and mods. That's what I'd recommend, especially if you plan on continuing to mod your car. If you buy one single stage, you don't get the multi-map, or all the options and features. If you mod your car more, or remove some mods, you may not be able to edit it to suit your car. H9wever, to get you up and running, and get rid of your CEL for your downpipe, id recommend looking into a stage 1 tuje. If your car has the required aupporting mods, maybe even stage 2 or stage 2+ That's just my 2 cents!
I'm not sure... I know the 330i has the B48, which I believe they have tunes for; however, I'm not sure about the 330e. I'd check out their website and see what they offer, and if you have any further questions, I'd definitely call or email them. They should be able to help you out!
You can use any MHD adapter, and, as far as I know, you may not be able to use a non-MHD adapter. I'd email or call MHD and ask them, they'd be much more helpful than I!
Yes, actually. You can do pretty much most of that, except the stages. You'd have to stick with one stage - as in, all stage 1, or all stage 2. Other than that, you can change a lot map-to-map. It's pretty impressive how flexible the tuning capabilities are. You can do pretty much anything you want!
