NightFlutter The first original MK used to scare me when I was 8. I remember shaking when I was holding the arcade joystick. In a way, I miss those feelings, when it was still new to me.

WTF is up with Sub-Zero's censored fatality??? I assume the Spine Rip caused a lot of controversy but it's not as brutal as the other fatalities of the series!!!!
Because her hurtboxes were different than the other fighters, which made it almost impossible to pull of kombos on her, as well as her invincible dash move.
I had this game on Sega Genesis in 1998 and my brother had a Super Nintendo and this game, he had a book of all of the characters moves, I was very good at this game and my favorite was Sub Zero, I did Fatalities more than Friendships, Animalities and when they turned to babies and did combos. This is my favorite Mortal Kombat game.
Dang man my uncle bought me this game for the DS on my 11th birthday. He initially bought me street fighter IV 3ds, but I didn’t have a 3ds so I got this instead 😂 I somehow learned scorpion,classic sub-zero, and maskless sub-zero’s combos back then I didn’t even look it up lol good times I’m 20 now and I feel like time has gone by too fast. Sometimes I wonder how old you arcade players feel 😂 (still play it from time to time it’s a classic)
TODAYS LESON : never lead into the pop up combo with the airpunch if ur standing still. Only if ur juming in. Lead into it with jumping HK for distance. Though u seem to have it down for the most part...break that bad habit lolol!! great vid!
I always thought of that blackout fatality as Sub Zero poking his fingers into the oponent's eyeballs, so that would explain the black screen cause opponent can't see? Maybe I'm overthinking but never thought this was censoring
I remember when this first came out in 95. I used to live in Temecula CA, and a minigolf arcade known as Mulligans. When the game was presented at the arcade, they had it hooked up to a giant tv, and all of the ninjas were unlocked.
I subscribed because this was an actual playthrough, not like Amy rose. Hers aren't believable. I've played this game for years, & when I watch hers, it doesn't match the actual gameplay. Especially for the difficulty set.
It's her channel on RU-vid where she plays these MK games, but hers aren't believable, especially when you played the same games. Yea you'll probably say she's better, but I honestly play those games really well myself, and I tried playing very hard and the A.I always will get it's hits in every now and then.
I think what she does is film editing, like adjust the setting on very hard, then picks the last tower, then goes off film to put it on very easy, and I do believe she's a good player, and just smashes through the tower on very easy.
Asians in Asian movies make those noises all the time so it's hardly racist. Look at Bruce Lee, nobody forced him to make those sounds. No racism at all.
They couldn't never get the Subway to the Street part where the music changes right on any of the homes systems. Pissed me off because it was one of my favorite parts of the game.

This guy's REALLY good at this game, I guess the secret is to practice the characters's moves and to strategize each time you play. (And use move lists)
In older mortal Kombat versions most of the characters customers were similar with just different colours especially sub zero, scorpion and reptile lol.

It was Johnny Cage. Daniel Pesina sued Midway so for revenge, they killed Cage and in the original MK3, didn't include Scorpion and unmasked Sub-Zero, since they were also played by Pesina.
I'll be glad when hollywood finally make a MK movie for adults, that is violent and blood-gore as the game itself. I tired of these MK films with a PG rating (mild violence) kiddie type of outlook, even the utube MK series with Michael Jai White was stupid.
I had a lot of problems to be able to master this game but at the end with a lot of effort I could achieve it even all its characters ... and of course all its combos
What happened to MK's scary side. It seems so Hollywood these days that it only focuses on the shock factor than it's more scarier elements. I remember being terrified of the background imagery and story of MK3 as a kid
This is what happens when you don’t prepare and think before you release a game kids. Because they didn’t think anyone would miss old Sub Zero and Scorpion they had no time for new fatalities. I think they should’ve just used the John Turk Sub Zero fatalities for him, sure it would’ve been kinda lazy but better than what we got
Okay this is going to sound like the dumbest question to most of you, but why does his fatality blackout and why does Scorpions Blackout when his clones do the gang bang? I missed something somewhere along the years I recently bought an arcade1up cabinet with the first trilogy and I was seeing these blackouts and I was like wait a minute I remember them not being blacked out when I was younger, and also I noticed that kung lao's fatality in Mortal Kombat 2 no longer takes the opponent's head off or gives you the fatality achievement(?)??????
