Hey Sarah! I have been always referring to your gift guides, you made me a better gift giver for kids. One gift idea I might add is a DIY tie a knot quilt. My son and I are working through it and it is so much fun!!
We fell in love with Mudpuppy brand puzzles during 2020-they have such cute designs! My 7 year old also just got 2 Klutz Jr early felt sewing kits and LOVES them. She made multiple stuffies and a pizza purse.
Yay! I’m glad you like them! I’m adding new designs all the time. If there is a certain theme that would fit them just let me know and I can make a design!
I just found out that the Ramona collection is on Yoto. So excited! I know you like the classic Anne of Green Gables, but not sure if you have seen the graphic novel Anne of West Philly. It's a modern retelling and my daughter really liked it. They also have retellings of Little Women and The Secret Garden, I believe by the same author or publisher.
We actually had the Ramona series on Audible so we put it all on one make your own card (cheaper than buying all the Ramona cards…just a little tip). All the books fit on one card! I hadn’t heard of those graphic novels! I’ll have to check them out!
Love this! My 12 & 13 year old girls love all of these same things. They have a large Calico Critter collection and have very in depth roles and families and have created a neat world for them. I did use some Best Buy rewards to purchase a yoto mini that I plan to gift to my kids for Easter. I bought it because you talk so highly about it and we love audiobooks and I think it will help my 4 year old son at bedtime. I would love to know more about making your own cards and how to get audible books on there as well as where you got that case! I know you’ve talked about it before, do you have a deep dive video you can direct me to, or make one of you don’t? Thanks again for everything 💗 I hope your Dad is doing well. 🙏
My girls have just started getting into calico critters! I love that your 12 and 13 year olds still play! I had some comments a while back saying my 7 year old should be done with toys and playing - that made me so sad! I played until your daughters’ ages and am so glad for it! The Yoto Facebook group is where I would direct you for how to do the make your own cards. I haven’t done it in a while and they have guides you can search for in there!
