I’m here again. Btw Kelvin, the deposit for buying house is option as well. Option to purchase, $1k to buy, $4k to exercise, so u can refer to it as option too. It’s exactly like a call option except that its value is not time sensitive, it’s all or nothing. And I feel Greeks are not for beginners. I think beginners option video should be more of situation examples of how to apply. I’ll post some examples in another comment, and I have 1 for u as well.

The more I understand about trading, the more I realized that in order to be safer, you would need to have a large capital or else, when things go wrong, your tiny little small capital would very likely to be wiped out sooner and easier than a larger capital. Next is, the bigger the profits, the bigger the risks. It's that simple.

People must understand youtuber promoting does not implied that they themselves is into it or how deep they are in. Every investment involve risk and option is one of the highest risk,not for beginner.Please undrstand your own risk.

In order to profit, if the stock is going up, one should make a call option and if the stock is going south, then one should make a put option? Is this correct?

Hi Kelvin, hope you can help me with this question. I have sell a put option with a strike price of $13 and the option expired last friday at $13.56. since the option has expired. why is the trade entry still showing in my trade account? do i need to buy back the sell option?
Confused with your video. If I sell put options, this means that if the stock price goes below the strike price, I will get exercised to OWN the stock right? So why is call options the one where you buy the stock whereas put is where you sell the stock?
