Ultimate Road to Banff - Highway 40 - including Gondola and Johnston Canyon

In this episode we head up to Banff national park via the scenic highway 40 which is a road missed by most adventures coming up from Montana in the USA. this shortcut has breath taking views all the way to Banff. Once in Banff we climb the gondola and take on Johnston canyon while visiting some incredible glacial lakes, all while trying not to be eaten by any bears!

end of June last year :) We were lucky with the weather but we had rain in the afternoon most days. Weather is super variable so plan for all seasons. Check out our next video when we drive to Jasper, the drive there was raining and terrible, 1 day layer blue skies and warm weather!

@@TheWendyhan0120 enjoy! We are so jealous, wish we were back there. Double check the buses and parking with lake Louise etc, think it may have changed. If you are driving up to jasper, try camp at some of the sites along icefields parkway, wish we did but we ran out of time.

Nice to see a travel vlog that includes Hwy 40 through Kananaskis Country. This road is partially closed in the winter. Not that long ago the area was impacted by severe flooding.

Thanks mate! 🙏 we have the dji air 2s. Such a powerful little drone. You are allowed to fly your drone in Canada, just not in the national parks. We didn't fly in banff or jasper site to those restrictions. Happy flying!
