I lived in Jasper for a summer after finishing school and now live in Vancouver, so Whistler is a place we frequent. Have also spent a good amount of time in Banff. Good video! My personal ranking (for the towns) is as follows: 1) Banff 2) Whistler 3) Jasper If I was ranking the national parks/surrounding areas it would be: 1) Jasper National Park 2) Banff National Park 3) Squamish-Lillooet (Whistler) All three have something different to offer and I think it's a must to spend time in all of them. The town of Jasper is underwhelming but I find Jasper National Park to be less crowded and less touristey than Banff and there are some breathtaking hikes and views to be seen if you go looking for them.

Thank you for his video.I am in three minds about these 3 Canadian gems. But, I think Whistler is preferred. And Vancouver is the city nearby, which let's be fair, more attractive than Calgary/Edmonton. And, I can always road trip to Jasper/Banff from Whistler :)

We are looking at going to BC next year ,so have subscribed to your channel to get to see which towns are the best to visit. These three were the ones we were looking at and Whistler is definitely number 1 so far with what you've shown.

I’ve been to Whistler and went on the Peak to Peak gondola which was a little scary but beautiful at the top. Going from one mountain across open air many many Many feet above trees that were very tall when looking from the ground up, but looking like tooth picks when going from mountain to mountain, was literally breath taking 😊. I’ve also been to Banff. Both town looks similar and yes, like mountain towns. Similar to Blue Mountain town here in Ontario but with much larger mountains surrounding. I haven’t got to Jasper yet but I will Lord willing ❤. I am wanting to drive from Banff and see Lake Louise. I’ve heard it is a beautiful scenic drive.

We also had some Blue Mountain vibes, clearly the Blue Mountain people had a source for inspiration ;)

Banff, Lake Louise and area are all pretty amazing. Calgary is more expensive to fly to and rent a car from but is very close. :)
