I personally tried playing with both low and high sens 21-51cm/360 and for me, i feel that high sens is just more enjoyable. The feelings you get from it, we gonna be honest, we pick low sens to get very smooth aim very quick. But getting smooth aim on high sens actually is more OP and feels more natural, maybe thats only me.

Best aim content! I was really not making any progress especially with static aiming and now I see the improvement and I see where my mistakes/lost time is. Going slowly and steady is really important to improve your aim and mouse control. I got trapped by "you miss all shots that you don't make" advice by other aimers/theories. Trying to compensate speed by making fast fittery uncontrolled moves with your hand is not the way.

Some people just don't understand that there's no such thing as the "best sens" it's all about what you're comfortable with, we are dealing with raw mechanics here. High sens usually makes you a better aimer simply because it's harder to control, I believe if you learn things the hard way you get the best results. Another great vid bro

Trust me it’s worth the time and money if you’re serious. I’ve booked about 6 months worth of sessions with him and it’s resulted in the biggest improvements in my aim even though I’ve been aim training for about 4-5 years. I went from a lower intermediate to the edge of being an advanced aimer with his coaching.

I used to swap sens all the time and change accel settings frequently too. Currently no accel, still swap often in aimtrainers for diff reasons, but in games just stick with one, lower in val and higher in cod/ow

I also have heard of switching sens to the unoptimal to ur scenario to make yourself focus more on the mistakes and harden the task for better improvement. What do you think about those kind of approaches?

@TheMirzaProduction
@TheMirzaProduction 5 месяцев назад
Common thought I had was should I be playing aim training on the same sens I use in game. Because I used to play cs at around 50-55cm and in kovaaks I had lots of issues with tracking and reactive as well as some wide wall scenarios, had to do a lot of movement and lots of times impossible hand positions just to get close to a target to microadjust. That's why I've turned up my sens at around 37 cm which is in no way a high sens in aim training world, but in cs it is certainly high considering engagements you have with enemies. Since then I've sticked to the same sens ingame and in training but was always wondering should I be using the same sens as I'm training a certain group of muscles in training and using it ingame, or two different sens based on what feels the best ingame. Would like your thoughts on this
@RonSwanson1
@RonSwanson1 5 месяцев назад
personally I say commit to the same sens for a week or two in game, if you still play like shit at the end of the two weeks then go with what is comfortable. Aim training and in-game experience will always vary for people as gamers all have various levels of anxiety that impacts them in game. If you are cold as ice, then high sens will probably be fine for you in CS. I am much more comfortable in CS so my sens is around 40cm, in valorant 6000 different abilities have me on edge so I generally run closer to 54cm.

i just looks at the top 3 static highscores with higher than 75cm/360 and just scratch my head😂 they basically can load up a full speed flick for each target and thus these insane scores, but you just can't run around with 75-100cm/360 in any game ... or can you😅 been messing around with raw accel onand off and switch sense not per scenario, but per type of scenario. i like 34cm for tracking, 45ish for dynamic and 53 for static. sometimes i just move the slider around to get in a range that makes the scenario playable for me. i learned a lot about my own flaws doing so and just started playing more fundamental routines and thats after i sunk about 1.2k into aimtrainers. aside from bad aim, what holds me back the most is my potato pc. i have like 180-200fps in kovaaks and an old 165hz monitor. that just turns some fast tracking or dynamic scenarios into a literal ghost hunt. especially after you made a mistake and try to adjust quickly. i think the greatest skill you should have is patience, when going down this aim training rabbit hole. sometimes you just plateau, then just do something else and come back with a fresh mindset. regards, glashaus/sasquatch

Curious what your opinion is on the whole dpi thing. I've heard that 1600 is technically better and people I've talked to say to swap but when I've tried haven't really liked it. Is it worth the swap? I'm at 900 dpi atm which may seem weird but currently liking it (have also heard that I shouldn't be playing with 900 as something to do with mouse sensors not registering as good as 400,800,1600? Idk doesn't seem bad though, reason why I swapped too 900 from 800 is quite silly but more used to 900 now). Anyway hope you're well just wondering your opinion or whether you think people put too much thought into it. I overthink everything from sens, dpi, monitor position brightness etc so have many issues with that. Much love man love the videos
@4bangerkovaaks
@4bangerkovaaks 5 месяцев назад
I think some youtuber showed 1600 and 800 dpi has less input lag but overall I dont think it'd be insanely noticeable. I feel 1600 is smoother than 400 personally.

I think you need to talk about the thumb a bit. Almost all big pro's in shooters have their thumb bent for stability and better control (try moving your thumb horizontally whilte its only slightly bent and you'll most likely see the difference, at least I do) Better yet just try to make horizontal lines with your mouse while holding your thumb in different positions, straight, slight curve, 90-80° curve. You will see that the more curved thumb gives the best control and feel. Why? First let me explain how I came to this conclusion. I had been playing on a gpro for a long time and have gotten pretty consistent on it as to reach immortal 3. I switched over to a finalmouse shaped mouse the BeastX and lost a lot of my control, my horizontal lines went diagonal and I just couldn't microadjust at all no matter what finger placement I used and I wasn't judging the mouse by the kill death ratio I got, just the feel of my cursor and how awful it felt. Switched back to my gpro and started looking at my grip, played, noticed my aim was back to how I trained it and how easy it was to make my cursor do what I wanted. What was the difference? Because I have pretty medium or small hands (18long 10 wide) I naturally gripped the gpro with my thumb bent almost 90°. I looked up how pro's held their mice and I found most tac shooter pro's held their thumb almost exactly the same 75-80 or even 90° depending on grip style. I tried the exact grip style I used on my beastx and I could control my aim again just like I always could. I switched between lots of my mice and my aim always felt the same the only difference being the feel of the mouse itself. I have been collecting mice searching for the "best shape" for me but shape didn't even matter at all. Be it the hsk, beastx, gpro, hts, htx, model o, aerox 3, pulsefire haste.. it was all the same. I had even switched to a lower sens so I could control my cursor when I played with the incorrect thumb placement but now I don't even care what mouse or sens I'm playing on I can always use my raw aim skill to perform and the thumb curvature was a big part in that. You can't play guitar right if you hold it wrong, you probably can't throw a basketball right if you hold it wrong while throwing. So it would make sense why you wouldn't be consistent at aiming if your hand wasn't holding your mouse right or consistently either. The times where I was switching up my grip and fingers up daily was the worst I had ever performed and felt in my entire life playing fps games. Finding your grip is pretty important I'd say as a result of all this but don't overdo it if you're a beginner and just play. Also all the stuff I was saying about the thumb only really counts for fingertip and clawgrip. I personally use fingertip and was always a 20-30cm/360 player back in the day and nowadays I'm playing around 40-45cm. Will up my sens again to learn some more tho. Hope this long ass comment helps someone out on their aiming journey.

if it works for you stick with it then. sarahfrags and poppin are both close to this sens, probably a few others i'm not thinking of right now too. You may have limitations in game though so you will need to adapt your playstyle to fit the insanely low sens. raw accel may also help you

I disagree with sensitivity not being game related. In a game like diabotical where you constantly have to do 180° turns and don't really need much precision so a higher sensitivity is obviously better and in a game like cs2 where you pretty much never need to do 180° turns and it's all about precision a lower sensitivity is better suited. Yes, there is a range that is viable for both games, probably around 25-55 cm/360° but anything faster than 25cm is just not good for cs2 and anything slower than 55cm is not playable in diabotical.
