Thank Jesus it’s not another SS Clone!! Awesome you have the original build sheet. My first 70 Malibu was a 307 column auto with a bench seat!!! Thank You for keeping it original with the chrome wheel arches and keeping that derby cap and trim ring look. Great Video Thank You 🙏
I just wonna know who actually thinks a Chevelle Malibu could be sleeper like literally every single one you see will be built for power there isn't a sleeper version of this car in existence today
That car is badass... only thing I'd do is tint windows and add stereo.. the more I look at the wheels the better they look. Just a simple badass car that is driveable with ac
I had a 72 Chevelle and love the 70 and 71 Chevelles. Often, I wish I still had mine. This 70 is exactly what I wanted mine to be! Great video, Austin!
My first car was 1970 Chevy Nova with 307 for 100 bucks, the motor ran but smoked , needed interior, but no rust or dents, blue with white vinyl top, I can’t believe I was embarrassed to drive it in 1986, that car today just as it was would sell for at least 5k just for the non rust no dent body! I sold it for 200 bucks! It was considered a jalopy in 1986 lol!
@@HotRodHeavenUSA I did watch the whole thing. It ranks right up there with the crying dolls and stuffed animals people have at car shows! Totally takes away from the aesthetics of the car.
I was driving a 1982 280zx in 1990, I didn't want to drive it in the winter that year, so I bought a 1970 Chevelle for $200 as a winter car. 307ci motor with a 3 speed auto, no rust, about 80,000 miles. It was the worst winter car ever, I got stuck in the snow about 12 times. A few years later I put an LT1 350 in it, a built 1963 Trans, big block spring in the front, dual exhaust, basically rebuilt the car. I drove that car everywhere... and never turned the radio on. The sound of the Rochester 4 barrel opening up was music to my ears.
@@HotRodHeavenUSA lol no it not , a sleeper would be anything other then a muscle car , chevelle being an iconic muscle car how in the fck do you think it could be a sleeper , might be a good idea for you to goggle what a sleeper is
