Ultimate Tango Wisdom presents Back Ocho is NOT the same as Forward Ocho 

Theoretically back ocho is the same as a forward echo, the main difference being that it goes back. But here is a little trick - it actually has the technique that can be easily explained (and also seen) as rewinding the forward ocho. As a mental shortcut, the technique is the exact opposite of forward ocho technique.
Where before you left the free leg behind and lead with the torsion, now you initiate with torsion but lead with the leg.
If you leave the leg behind - interesting things will happen. Not wrong - simply interesting. Maybe not necessarily what you want right now, but useful later.
